Hi,
I think this is happening because of your kernel,I have the same Rom whit nightElf kernel and it's ok.
try NightElf and see if this is working.
If i changing kernel i mus reinstall rom?

I've rooted my Xperia Mini Pro SK17i with ICS 4.0.4 CyanogenMod Version 9.0.0-mango before almost a month, everything were running amazingly fine and life was so beautiful, however, today my WIFI connection stopped to connect in any network, it shows "Avoided poor internet connection" after trying to obtain an IP and going in a loop to do so.
What i've tried to solve this problem so far:
1- WiFi problem on real ics 4.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1811224
2- Fix WIFI Bug [X8/W8][ROM] CyanogenMod 9 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523981

4- I've also tried to find the data/dhcpcd folder and file to delete them, but it wasn't in my SD card anyway.
I don't know what i should do with it now, please hellp

Go to /data/misc/dhcp/ and delete all files in this directory. If this won't work please attach a logcat when you try to connect.
Hi. I have the exact same phone with exact same firmware and exact same problem. The problem is still there, but i found a temporary fix to access internet on phone. Configure the IP / Sub-Net Mask / Gateway / DNS manualy and it will work perfectly. Im still trying to fix the problem anyway.
Hai , i have a same problem too . i cant even turn on my wifi . any idea ? ROM : Optimax 2.0 , Stock Kernel with locked bootloader . it dont have mac address .
Hi all, my phone is a Xperia Mini st15i and I installed CyanogenMod 9.1 stable, I decided to try the lupus kernel and it works fine , the problem is that the WiFi does not work , I tried to flash a zip containing the modules to work the kernel and wifi with anything. And so asked if a solution to the wifi working again.
Greetings to all!

It seems to be a kernel problem because even other people are having this same problem as you can see in the thread. So, you can either use the kernel within the zip or try using Mesa kernel.

Greetings.
My Neo V on stock ics is unable to detect some wifi networks, for instance, my college wifi. It is secured with a WEP, which other phones pick up fine. But my phone doesnt. I installed Cyanogenmod roms CM9 and CM10 and they detect that wifi fine, just not the stock rom. what could be the problem? any fixes? i did try manually adding the network, didnt work.
Did u flashed the wifi modules of the kernel u are using? Just search in the thread if the kernel u are using
Cheers,
AJ

i'm using Alliance Kernel for stock ICS, just went back to the thread but could not find flashable wifi modules. Do you think maybe changing the kernel will solve the problem?
Yep change to a kernel which has correct wifi modules with it or flash the wifi modules from any other ics kernel having same kinda source
Cheers,
AJ

You have reflashed stock one (generic firmware from sony) and the problem still persist ?? Seem strange because wlan problem usually found on custom rom / kernel ,
Can your xperia neo connect to wifi hotspot too ?? If not i think it is hardware problem
Wifi Hotspot not working

Hi All,
I am new in this custom ROM field,I just installed Turbo Kernal with Cynogen Mod 10 in my Xperia neo L.
After reviewing the Device i found that my "WIFI Hotspot" is not working.
I Also tried "Lupus kernal" and pacmac ROM.
As it was working with stock Rom so it proves that my hardware is ok.
When i try to start my hotspot it stuck at " Wifi turning on..."
Please help.

Hope this helps
Hello,
after flashing cm9.1 am not able to connect to any network via wifi. It is trying to connect with obtaining ip address but in the end it says avoided poor connection. I've tried the kernel built into cm9.1 and after i've changed it to mesa kernel with no luck. When i firstly flashed coconut 9.1 i used lupus but it seems that the wifi is broken in that kernel. When i flashed the cm's kernel i had wifi on the first boot....
Did you tried reflashing the rom..??
If no then try it Or else i think You are missing on WIFI modules of your kernel.
Hit thanks if i helped

I cannot say whether it is working or not you must check the kernel thread again.
I think there should be wifi modules in kernel thread , if not present it means its already install in the kernel ramdisk (so no need of wifi modules then).
Hit thanks if i helped
