First of all, I know that this might have been asked million times, but please read before say anything!
I was looking for some good CM7 themes and I found that the ones that I most liked had the transparent statusbar. I've searched a bit for it and I'm patching the files right now.
But I want to make everything to run "out-of-the-box", so if I need to reinstall CM7 on my phone it will be already patched and all.
What do I need to do? Thanks!

I didnt get u bro some themes ( like the one in my signature) bring status bar transparency....why do u want a patch??? I have used vo-1's cm7 b4 ...the status bar becomes transparent when u choose themes that have transparency .. what do u want??

AFAIK, to enable status bar transparency, I have to patch the rom framework. I tried it and it didn't worked. Seems that I didn't make myself clear

I thought of making one theme for valentine day and I'd been searching and playing with colors and stuff so I came this far but now am so terribly bored both with android and framework-res.apk than I'm abandoning my idea however its not bad too if anyone wants to try it.
PS : The status bar is transparent but god knows why it becomes black in LP lol

I want a theme like the original one but with red colour ! Black status bar and transparent.
Other things red such as main wallpaper and stuff . Its gonna really beautiful !

well . i made a wallpaper for main theme ( show in settings and etc.) (320x480 i've created)
and black transparent status bar.
and i attachad one of your screenshots that is red.
i think this is good but a red that is match with my wallpaper.
normal battery percentage.
and normal animations and transitions.
if u do this for me , i will be glad man.

how long are you willing to wait? cuz if you need a complete red thing than there are 250pngs to colorize and to be frank I dont want to waste my valentines day editing framework lol
so tell me or should I tell you how to do it?

get stockframework (least errors)
get apkmanager (availbale in this forum)
decompile the apk
use your photoediter to change colors
compile the apk again
copy the pngs from the compiled apk and replace it in the framewrok you want.

edit: found little bugs hope for fix
see attachements
for market didnt see if apps ready for update or just installed
or in statusbar didnt see the connection for example in browser or market, ok it is because transparent statusbar.

so i fixed it for me, i gone the easy way, changed all your png´s with an other theme, so i have the fonts colour back to default, and black status bar.

i have a kind of a problem..i use gingerdx v022 rom, and it's great, fast and stable..there are 2 themes in theme chooser as soon as u flash the rom, a-theme and system theme..so i like some stuff from each and i was wondering if it is possible to kind of mix them toegether into 1 theme..e.g. i'd like the status and notification bars from a-theme, and font size, and settings menu icons from system theme..how would i do that?

if you want to get original xperia icons
you may use the xperia arc theme from market...
and about editing the theme
first get root explorer
now with the help of root explorer open the theme apk (dont click on install)
now you will see some folders
different icons and backgrounds may be found in the "res" folder..
do not forget to press thanks if i helped
yes and the system and A-theme may be found in system/apps
you may edit them from there....

ohh okay..i'd like
-settings menu (and all other transparent menus) background changed to stock xperia's, from arc2.0 file if not make it black
-music and power control widgets transparent black
-change dialer, battery and status bar icons to touchwizzed's
-make status bar black, and if possible change settings menu icons with touchwizzed's ones
-every other thing from a-theme lite (transparent notification bar, notification power widget icons, glowing edge on menus, green ticks etc etc) other than font size..it's small, increase it

just edit the file fron ICS rom called framework-res.apk aswell as twframework-res.apk and port it into our SGY ....................
Will this be available for stock ROM's?

Is this just a theme for creed rom v2.5 or iCS themed rom (update of v2.5). If it is a theme i will use it I like ICS but it is themed ROM like cyanogen clone rom i won`t use it because the creed rom v2.5 is still developing.
When will we get to see this theme? Looks nice!

Im running a Stock rom [GB] and Rooted with CWM 5.0 ....i have searched this forum but i couldnt find a notification bar theme with a quickpanel....also i tried some apps but didnt find any luck.....can you provide a link on the theme .....with a quickpanel...

I never liked transparent status bars, as they look weird in the browser. Try the semi transparent one in the link I gave you.

Small suggestion could you make the icons round or ics like iconpack? ? Personally i dnt like ussrv5's stock icons.

currenty im downloading,i give it a try,looks good,when im done,i post screenies.
ok bro i have it succesfully flasht,but everytime when im going to settings and want back to appdrawer your theme becomes forceclose and i must reboot.i have try all methods to install,before install after install testet to solve this problem but nothing happens.i have uninstall mods,bla bla,but when in settings than its no problem,but when i whant back to appdrawer from settings or from settings to drawer than the system crashs.
but the look and the bootanim+the icons in statbar are very cool,thats are good work.another thing i didnt like is the vertical scrolling in appdrawer,that not can be changed.so whats wrong bro?
