I have some little secrets to translate the roms 20 min. is enough to translate any wm6 rom to turkish for me

Won't you share them so that other languages become quickly available ?
What's your secret, only replace 409.mui files ?
If it's the technic, it will be a partial translate : your OS is detected as WWE, you must make some registrery settings
edit : i'll dump your ROm for take a look into, fi real translate no more 409.mui must be here
I have editted mui files to turkish my self as ou know microsoft didn't publish turkish emulator wm6 for ppc
I just replace the muis to the rom and put some regisrty settings.

hello,
i have bought a new htc touch pro. it is from france.
but i am german and use it in germany. so i flashed first of all the german original firmware from htc.
the keyboard is with QWERTZ architecture, but some keys are different in france and germany.
is it possible to install a french driver in a german rom?
maybe without flashing again?
i think it should be possible, to copy the drivers to the phone.
after that i could edite the registry and set the new path to the driver.
have somebody the french keyboard driver?

If i understood right it is so, that you want to have the keys like they are printed on the top on your keyboard. if thats so, its no problem to get to that aim; there are some registry entrys with whom you can reach a french keyboard in a german rom.... but dont know at the moment, what the registry keys are.... use search "keyboard layout" or similar... if you will not find them, ill have a look...

i don't want to change the keyboard.
it will cost around 25€ and the device is brand new.
i don't want to harm the phone by screwing it at the moment.
special keys of german alphabet are present, but on other buttons than on the real german keyboard.
it would be ok, if i could get the letter that is shown on the button.
i'll give the registrysearch a try, but it would be very kind, if you could search for the right registrysettings as well.

doesn't work.
but the settings are for hermes. some pathes to the registry are not present in my windows mobile registrry.
my actual device and rom version are:
HTC Touch Pro T7272
ROM-Version: 5.05.407.1 GER
ROM-Date: 01/22/09
Radio: 1.11.25.01

The Deviced is a not hardware brandet model from swisscom with french firmware and QWERTZ keyboard.

I found this for changing keyboard, not specially french ... so you have to find the values poking in the registrykeys shown above yourself. i think 0406 and 1030 are values for swiss keyboard, but dont know exactly... youll find the values in the threat above (or a link shown there)

I can not find any slovenian language ROMs in the search, it isn't a language I've found on a windows mobile before. Swype keyboard does support Slovenian though, maybe it would be worth trying?
There are a lot of keyboard programs offering slovenian language support on Android also.

Heh and i'm not loking for Slovenian keyboard the english one is youst fine to use it's a similar layout then QWERTY the only difrence is theth we use QWERTZ keyboard and Š , Č , Ž , and Đ but thet's not a problem at all
check on Sunnysoft pages, there are free official ROMs for some CEE languages, not sure about Slovenian though...
due lack of time I had to close this project, sorry...
