I like it. I just hope they don't let the camera stick out half an inch like the One X.
See I agree I love the design of the one x and one s. But I don't understand why. HTC insists make that damn camera protrude out. Apple and Samsung do just fine with out that non sense ( no pun intended and.the have some of the most epic cameras out.

Hate that so much. The lens on my Evo 4G was scratched up a couple of months after I bought it. I suppose I could lay it screen down on my desk, but then I have to keep flipping it over to see anything. At the very least, make the lens scratch-resistant, or recessed enough to not scrape across the surface it's on.
And I prefer the looks of the AT&T version of the One. The Sprint version is just another plain black slab -- why do we get such ugly phones on Sprint?? Still gonna get one though

How do you figure that. Rim isn't going down hill because of bad hardware. There going down hill because of outdated software. Rims 9930 is a solid preice of hardware. Now if they catch up on the software front that would help them tremendously, maybe look into bigger screens for there next Gen phones. HTC has solid hardware and beautiful software. Just to much implementation of sense IMO.

HTC had a huge hit in 2010 with the Evo. They had a down year in 2011 (how do you follow up the Evo???), but they're generating a lot of hype with this new One line. I don't think they're going the way of RIM. And by the way, smart move if they're going to concentrate on a single line of phones rather than pushing out a new, differently named phone every month.

The bottom line for me is that...
I don't really care about Housings, my interest are for the Battery Doors, so that means that soon we will see Battery Doors of different colors around the WEB.
When they come out I would buy the black one that is on htcdev.com(First pic) and I will put it in my EVO 3D!

Yeah, but i think they are a that price because the Phone is not in Stores yet, so by June 24 I think and i hope prices will drop down so i can take the battery door.

there is a guy on ppcgeeks that did back doors for evo in multiple colors hopefully he will. since those covers were sweet!
I wonder how long it will be before they design a backdoor with a kickstand? I rather not have to use a case w/ it built-in.

I like Apple a lot. The only thing that made me not get an iphonw was the fact that they don't sell it for tmobile. I don't like having to use edge on a high end phone.

It did happen with wp7, and microsoft even willingly gave out the activation serials for it. (Back with the hd2. Even i called microsoft, told them i had an hd2 (Not wp7) and was installing wp7. Gave me the activation serial on the spot).
I somehow think apple won't be as nice.
so I went to my sociology class and this guy was sitting next to me with his cracked iPhone and he sees me taking notes and he was staying at it for like 10 mins and was like dang u got nice handwriting and asked me if it was a galaxy I was like no its an EVO and he was all looking at it XD

Impressed an iPhone user? That's not hard to do, when I worked as a copier tech I used my cell all the time to call in and let my manager know what's going on with the more important contracts and just making a call seemed to impress them. One time I was just texting a part number to Brian, the guy who's in charge of inventory. This guy rushes over all impressed. He tells me, oh thats so cool. Let me guess, you guys can scan the part and order from an online catalog right? Android is so cool. I was about to tell him no I'm just texting the part but I thought nah. Instead I told him we have full control over parts and inventory and that we even know when networked printers go down. He was floored lmao

I hated that phone. What a pos. Not the iPhone either.
What I thought was funny was how similar they look. The instinct was released in 2008, the iphones redesign was in 2010 yet they are suing samsung because apple claims some of their galaxy lineup looks like the iPhone 4.

No its a half inch bigger. Note is 5 inch screen note 2 is 5.5 inches.

I like the fact that this EVO is one of a kind. Exclusively for Sprint carriers only.
At least I like to think that...Plus its a unique gadget that stands out from the crowd. Especially with all my friends & family rocking iPhones. They look at my phone and they ask me, that look sick what is it? That's when I have the pleasure to say, "its exclusively for Sprint users only" lol.. they rock At&t, most of them!
So yea, this phone is one of its kind. Not just because its Exclusive. But because there isn't one that can copy its style. I will stick to this for a while. It has everything I need. Performance, screen size is perfect, camera and the look is flawless.
That's why I did not choose the GS3. It's screen size is to big for a average grown man hands. Plus I'll be part of the crowd just like everyone with their iPhones.
I like to stand out, and clearly I can when I hold my EVO 4G LTE.
