Can everyone use simple image wallpaper to solve the tablet wallpaper issue while running Task 14.1? Before rooting and flashing Task I used simple image but now I can't get it to even load on my tablet as a live wallpaper. Come to think of it, I can't get any live wallpapers to load. Any advice?
Sorry I can't be much help here but I am running Task 14.1 and have no probs with live wallpapers, so the problem must lie somewhere at your end.

Doesn't make any sense to me.
You have to flash the wallpaper mod in cwm if you are using the slim task version. I had this problem too.
Yeah your probably using the slim version which doesn't come with the livewallpapers.apk, you gotta install that in order to apply them.

I see the the wallpaper file I'd need to flash on the Task 14.1 thread. I know to download it but I don't know how to install it or flash it in CWM. Can anyone inform this noob? I rooted and flashed Task 14.1 using YouTube instructions.
you go into cwm, install zip, go into download folder, flash the zip

Try paranoid android rom it has tablet mode which works nicely but the text and icons are very small!
I'm using Resurrection Remix 1.8.1 and the OP now includes links for a flash able Tablet Mode UI. Just install the ROM as per the OP's instructions then flash the Tablet UI .zip from recovery, you can always flash the Default UI if you decide that you don't like the tablet look and feel.
I'm actually about to flash the Tablet UI zip this evening, and I'd advise that you get the ROM working the way you want then make a backup before flashing the new UI (as I've done) just in case, though I understand it's a pretty robust procedure flashing between the Default and Tablet UIs. I'll post back with my thoughts on it, though there are videos of it available so you can see what you're getting before flashing.

I tried several times to search for a guide that could teach me how to change my boot animation, but i could never find one for the i9100, all i found was some for the epic 4g touch and some others.
i also heard that i needed a kernel that allowed such modification, im currently running cm10 latest nightly with cm kernel, can i do this ?
if anyone feels like explaining me how to change it or could give me a link with a proper guide for my device, i'd appreciate it.
Just replaced bootanimation.zip on my system folder and worked... Thread can be closed/deleted, sorry
Or even download rom toolbox from play store and choose an animation then install. Simples

Go to /system/media/and move bootanimation.zip to sdcard (in case something goes wrong) and move your bootanimation to /system/media
Go to play store
And search for boot animation
Download it and run it
Its really simple and easy

First question: No, and 2.1 can't play flash anyway, Google only added support for that from 2.2 onwards
Second question: MiniCM7Pro won't hard-brick your phone to the point that you have to JTAG it again, only changing kernels may do that, but not a different ROM.
Third question: Gapps are included in that ROM, so don't worry about it.
It is a bit sluggish though, but that can be fixed. I can't remember what i did to improve performance but I'll have a look into it.

Download these Modules, put them on your sd-card and flash them with cwm, wipe cache afterwards and reboot.
Let me know if it fails or not.
It should speed up the ROM a bit.
I have "always" been using BPouls flash-pack in all later ROMs I have been using.
It includes a plugin for the browser to fullscreen just about any flash content.
Somehow I can't find it anywhere anymore, so here is links:

thank you so much guys, under the system/app folder flash player.apk , I solved the problem. Now I can install feedly and watch flash player movies without any trouble. This rom is really great.
I'm running Cyanogenmod 10.2 Snapshot on My GT I9100. I'm unable to set live wallpapers. Every time I try to set live wallpaper, it shows live wallpaper picker stopped working. Can any one help me correct it.

Sorry could you tell me how to reinstall it. I tried from ROM toolbox and system folder apps. But there is only uninstall and it is not workong.

This mod work very well but i have little problem with version 2.0. I have lg l9 ii with stock 4.1.2 jb on it, version 1.0 work with viper4android and it sound great but when i installed version 2.0 on clean rom (ofc still 4.1.2 jb) system run good without any issues or fcs but after installing viper i cant run it...! I dont know why but viper cant just run, it is in app drawer but when i click it make screen black for 3 sec and come back to app drawer wiothout any screens or something, he should ask about su permissions and install drivers but this not happen. Ofc super su and busy box are installed and work good, dont know why it happen, i tried install viper later extreme and first extreme later viper in both ways still same problem. I come back to 1.0 because viper for me is a must, maybe you people know how to fix it. Installing viper as system app dont change anything, i tried to add viper drivers on my own by copying its file from old system to lib folder and adding necessary lines in audio_effect.conf but app still cant run

I do see the build prop entries in my buildprop. Poweramp loads and runs fine. Can any one assist me? BTW, I did try to install ver 2 and ver 2 update. Separately of course. The fc behavior reported by others happened to me. I restored backup then installed version 1. Please advise how to locate the icon to use this program. TIA. Gary

Their is no app to say anything is open. Just trust the buildprop lines.

Opss, until now I found problem with my phone: even I install busybody 15 or 18, then flash this mod (v2), then I found nothing add into my system/app and system/framework, ... only string was add into my build.prop. I don't know why, but before I installed successful this mod, with full file in this zip into my system, now didn't, even I mount system in recovery before flash zip. My phone is rooted, of course. Anyone like that?

When i flashed ExtremeBeats audio mod through recovery the phone gets started and when i try to unlock my phone by swiping on lockscreen phone get stuck and then i have to format my phone. More specific please... EB version? do you have custom kernel installed or just stock kernel from rom? do you mount /system before flashing EB? The best way to install EB is after flashing the new rom. You need to mount /system then flashing EB. Reboot. After that install v4a and its drivers. Reboot again. If you follow that method and found it's not working try another version of EB. If the problem still persists, seems like it come from your rom side not supporting it.

i flashed version 2.1 on my evo 4g lte with TWRP recovery and it flashed fine, but when i rebooted and played music, it stayed the same. Was an app supposed to be installed or something? I have Viper4android installed already, but extremebeats doesnt show up anywhere...are there more steps besides flashing with recovery?

This mod doesn't work on my HTC One M8. Android 4.4.4 3.28.xxx.x Rooted Stock, S-on. Tried it a bunch of times with different practices, it just soft bricks the phone every time.
