Before taking it into the sprint store. I was hoping someone in here has some input.
Stock Photon.
This morning my wifes photon got stuck getting into the home screen. It unlocks but all we see is a black screen with the status bar icons on top. Battery is full. I tried to take battery out, same issue.
I could see the home page when i use the power button but very slightly. Anyone know what could have caused this? And is there a way to uninstall an app using google play store through a desktop? After a while we get the force close from magic locker and the phone restarts. Im assuming its magic locker causing the issue.

Same issue
Hello, I have a droid charge and I have the same issue. I do not know how to clear my home screen data though? Can you give more details on how you got rid of the grass?
Thanks,
Eric
I'm not sure I wanna do this but I'd like to try it.
Is it possible? (to auto go to home screen on/after screen off?)
Does anyone know an app that will let you do it?
U mean bypass the lockscreen??

What he means is that an easier way to go to the home screen when you unlock it instead of going to your most recently opened app. I usually do this with widget locker and check "go to homescreen" but sometimes its a hassle because it really depends on what app im using whether or not I want to go to the home screen.
Ok gotcha

Do you mean this one?

You could try using something like Tasker or AutomateIt and setup a profile or rule to automatically go to home screen when the screen is turned on.
I'm having a weird issue with my voicemail shortcut on the home screen. I try to hold down on it to either move it, edit it or remove it and it doesn't respond. All other icons work as they should. Anyone have an idea why only the voicemail app is having this issue?

Keep trying. You just have to press it just the right way. Never takes me more than 5 tries....
Same issue every time I try a fresh ROM. It is a peculiar and annoying, yet simple to resolve issue. Just keep trying.

This past weekend my SGSII starting showing some new unknown launcher that was not allowing me to get to Go Launcher EX. I have Go Launcher set as the default however whatever this is will just randomly takeover. I can reboot and may then see Go Launcher, but this other thing eventually comes back. I'm running 4.1.2 and I've tried completely wiping the device and installing a new different ROM and manually installing each app from the play store and this thing keeps coming back. I can't figure out where it's coming from or what it is. I haven't installed any new apps.
When it's active hitting the menu button doesn't get me the phone menu it just gets me a very limited app menu. It only has a single home screen and no button to get to installed apps. I can get to the phone menu from the status pulldown, but I don't see any processes running that could cause this...at least nothing obvious to me. I've uninstalled Go Launcher and tried Nova, but it has the same issue. I attached an image in hopes someone would recognize it. I had to take a picture with a camera because I can't get screen shots to work when this is running.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Seems like a dock mode from what the image shows.

THANK YOU. That seems to be it. I've searched all over and couldn't figure that out. I even did a Google Image search and found nothing. Now I just have to figure out why my phone keeps randomly going into dock mode.
Thanks again
Have you tried a hard reset. It might just be software bug. Don't hard reset if you're not on the stock rom.

So I've been lurking for a while now, and I've not seen this issue come up.
This issue has been present in prior versions and still occasionally persists.
Sometimes, and I've not been able to narrow down any specific reason or circumstance that causes it to happen, I'll hit the home button or close an app and the Launcher will be black.
Just full black screen with no launcher interactivity.
It's a little laggy at this point, but I can still pull the status bar down to the notification menu or hold the home button to pull up the opened apps and 'escape' into another app and the lag ceases.
The Themer launcher won't restore from the black screen no matter how many times I go into an app then back to the home screen.
A reboot solves the problem, however, without an issue.
I'm running a rooted stock ATT Samsung Note 3.
All DPI is stock and unchanged.
I do have Xposed Framework with Wanam and a few other modules installed.
However I have been having this occasional black screen issue since before I rooted.
Thank you for your time, and I appreciate all the work you've done to give us such an amazing launcher!
