calendar app for the note - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

im looking for a calendar app that has (and this is kinda difficult to explain) reminders but instead of me typing them i wanna be able to use my s pen to write what i want to be reminded of similar to like a sticky note that just happens to have a timer for a reminder
yea it is kinda pickey of me but i prefer using the spen to the keyboard for that sorta stuff... if only smemo had reminders built in

That's a cool idea...
So it would just pop up your hand written memo at a given time, with an option to snooze, etc...
I'll keep an eye out...

Have you tried apmemo in the market. I think it does exactly what you described. The note appears is the notifications bar at the scheduled time.

Goto lockscreen!!

I must say this is the best android lockscreen I have seen in a while. I have widget locker purchased but this one was a must buy.
I don't have a direct link to it but just go to the Android Market and search goto and you will find it

it doesnt fit my screen. it stops way before the right side
I used it for a while. I liked it but there isnt nearly as much customization as widget locker and its alil buggy. I also use a security pattern and it wont work with a security pattern or pin
Its not even fully functional -- when i press to disable volume buttons to prevent wake it doesnt work it still wake ...

I used it for a few weeks on my Hero but uninstalled it because it's not fully functional

Does it fit your screen? I what am I doing wrong. My slider is squished to the left.

This is by far the coolest lock screen. Unfortunately if its not fully functional then its useless. I hope Innoweb gets it 100%. Im all for buying apps but I hate it when devs charge $ for something that's not really finished and/or compatible.

eh, I like the HTC flashlight app better for its simplicity and three step brightness. I found the apk from either the sensation or the EVO 3d, it works but you have to tap above and to the left of the button by about an inch. I don't know why that is but otherwise works fine.
its bc they are different screen resolutions i think
It's a sense 2.1 app, not completely compatable with 3.5.

Tesla has various options for different brightness and even strobe/etc.
I personally like this one.

I like that one too. And this one just as much:

I like Tiny Flashlight because it has two screen lights, one white and one you can color how you like. But I like Color Flashlight HD because you can dim it but there's only one screen light so you have to change the color if you want it different. Although since it can be dimmed I might not care about color. I just want something low light that I can use to help me see menus in dark restaurants. Or else I guess I could start dating guys that aren't embarrassed to be seen with me. lol.
And I like the extras on both. Don't know when I would actually need or use them, but I like them. Especially the warning lights and the text.

I posted the htc flashlight in another thread. Our phone has the plugin which is needed but not the app. I have it installed but it only has one setting that works

Any cool DNA tricks to share?

so does anyone have any cool little DNA tricks that they found out? I just realized that you can pinch to zoom in the battery info graph built into sense now... so you can expand and see each hour or shorten it to get your full day view. pretty neat!

I just found out (most everyone probably already knows) that you can pinch the homescreen to show all of them.

Me neither. Neat feature.
I have to say that I really am enjoying this latest version of Sense. It's a LOT less intrusive than past versions, and doesnt seem to have any major impacts on battery life.
It's like they took out all the crappy nonsense no one liked, allowed android to shine through where its better, and kept only the useful features of Sense. I like it.

For apps with long lists of items like music or messaging, you can scroll through by letter or date by using two fingers at once.
On the call screen before making a call. Press menu and you can open a fullscreen keypad for dialing
I know most probably know this but:
Once you fill up all 5 screens you can attempt to add another app or widget and it will populate a new blank screen for you. Also if you pinch to zoom at one of the home screens, it will give you an option at the top to add a panel (screen).
