kanger [kahng-ger] noun : A person with enough skill to compile CyanogenMod from source, but generally does not have enough coding experience to provide fixes or support.
Hey guys, @fitsnugly was kind enough to start building cm9 skankwich builds for the i777. Latest builds can be found HERE
http://fitsnugly.euroskank.com/skankwich/?id=i777
These do not come with gapps so you'll need to download them
Google Addon:

please note this thread will be for discussion of said nightly builds. For development stuff would likely be a good idea to just post in the cm9 dev thread in the i777 development forum.
I'm your huckleberry.....I'll try it.

FYI guys, nightly from 4-5 is running great. No SOD and working video recording are confirmed. May be placebo but scrolling also seems improved.

As a MIUI-fan I'm really looking forward for a complete and stable MIUI port from Team Cooper.
As for now I'm using the official CM7 Nightly built rom, the reason is that i'm too lazy to reinstall,
arrange -personalize in general when a new RC build comes out (even though it's not too often).
Either way, I've decided to spread this custom signature that I made for them (actually 4months ago).
Use it as you please (as long as you dont claim any creds) and support Team Cooper for their awesome work,
and not only the MIUI project but all of em!

Yo.
Just a quick question, I need a kernel that can OC to go with Slim Bean 4.2.2 and I'm aiming for the most stable and fast install I've had on my S3 yet. Siyah 1.9.1 has broken WiFi tethering, which I need, other kernels such as lean don't appear to support the i9300.
Is Siyah 1.8.9 a possibility or will that not work with the latest version of Slim Bean?
Development definitely seems to have died on the S3 and I don't blame people, the lack of open source for Exynos is horrible.
I preferably want CPU and GPU overclocking. I used to be able to push the GPU to 700ish MHz on older kernels with ICS.
Thanks.

Thread closed as its a best kernel thread.
Why using ported version of CyanogenMod when I compiled one from source?

Work is ended! But need to compile again properly!
Its CyanogenMod 9 for Galaxy 5 device!
I will be uploading on a new thread soon!
Hope you guys test it and also I hope it works properly.
Soon a stable version of Cyanogenmod 9 can be expected along with a Cyanogenmod 10.2 and Cyanogenmod 11 builds.
I have no time to work. But I will try my best.
I wonder why this build occupies only 39.5MB space. That worries me a lot. I began to question myself whether I have done it right!
Support my work!
FYI: We already have a source built CM9.
And also cm10, cm10.1, cm10.2, cm11. All are stable enough for daily use.

Buddy you are spamming all the section. Even you dont have proper kernel sources. You need to link the kernel source tree if you have or this thread and all other copies will be invalid.
As already noted, this has already been posted to the Mi 3 forums....thread closed!
