Changing default governor?? - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

The default cyanogenmod governor is ondemand,. Can we change the default governor to smartassV2 or performance??

Yes you can.But different kernels support different governors.
You can select any governor on the list.

Depends what Kernel you have. But it makes sense to use onDemand as original default for the simple fact that it ensures the phone is working optimally.

Governor on cm7

I've noticed that in the cm7 settings you can set the governor to powersave or performance but if you try to go through setCPU it doesn't give you the options for a governor. Does anyone know why this is?
I'm using faux123's 0.1.9 kernel.

[Q] No frills CPU control not retaining governor

So I will set my cpu governor, smartassV2, and go on with my day, and at some point, not sure when, I will find the governor has switched to interactive.
Any ideas why the governor is not sticking or how to remmedy it?
I've tried reinstalling no frills, and reflashing the kernel I'm using to no avail.
This is not a common problem for my phone or kernel/rom as far as I know. (p500 franco.Kernel.v19.4-gbs.v18c devoid froyo final)

[Q] [CM7] What are the differences between CPU Governors?

I wonder what are the differences between the cpu governor settings in Cyanogenmod 7 .
I'm currently using ondemand option, i'm good with it but i want to know what smartass or interactive etc. do. And why to choose the others except ondemand or poversaver. And which works better for ace.
And of course, which option do you use ?

[Q][JB][XP]Default governor/scheduler

i think its ondemand because it was a default in my setcpu sitting
I believe ondemand is the usual stock governor.

AOSP Governor Interactive bugged?!?!

No matter what AOSP rom I try, the interactive CPU Governor seems to be bugged, resulting in stuttering when sliding through homescreens, and overall stuttering/lag in animations.
I was able to cure my lag on all AOSP by changing my CPU Governor from interactive to Performance.
I'm just wondering why it's bugged?
Also, which CPU Governor do you use?
May or may not help but pull up settings - >battery - >battery mode and then select performance helped me during some games haven't seen this option but I usually run stock Roms.
