"Low Batt" Message drains Tab - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
the problem occours during standby when the battery falls down to 15% or 10%.
The low batt message turns on the Tab (to Lockscreen) and stays there till the Battery is completly drained.
In Settings -> Screen i have the Timeout @ 2min, witch works.
If i turn on the tab and leave the Lockscreen locked, it turns off after about 10 seconds.
My Tab is on stock hc3.2 with stock 2.6.36.3 kernel (rooted of course).
If the tab is not in use it stays in standby.
Is there any solution to this issue?

[Q] Battery Drain?

I had my tab fully charged at 6am this morning, and now it is on 69%. I have been browsing the internet for an hour or two. Is this drain normal?
Yes its normal you have set your wifi policy to not to disconnect. If you want your battery not to drain fast go to settings than screen and check mark on Auto adjust screen power. Plus set the brightness to auto. Now change your wifi disconnect policy to disconnect when screen turns off. I had the same problem but after doing these changes the problem is solved. Please hit the thanks meter if I have helped you.

[Q] energy saving bug?

Hi,
i noticed that if i flag the energy saving option and set a value (for example 30%) for activation an icon appears on the taskbar telling me that the energy saving option is active, even if the battery is full charged, and it remains active.
Moreover when battery go under 30% the phone alerts me that the energy saving configuration will be set, and changes some phone settings like screen brightness and screen timreout values (15 seconds).
when the phone is in charge it alerts me that the energy saving confguration will be turned off BUT
- the icon still remains in the taskbar set as active
- the values set (brightness and screen timeout) remains the ones setted by energy saving and do not go back to the values chosen by me.
Anyone has the same problem?
Thank you
I don't know if that option/setting really does something but I have it on at 70% level. But as soon as I plug my AC charger in it says Power Saving Mode Suspended and turns back on when I unplug the charger. But as I set it to 70% battery level it doesn't bother me until the phone reaches 70% or less.
Regards.

[Q] Screen waking up while plugged (battery life full notification?)

When I leave my galaxy player 5 (international) plugged during the night the screen wakes up at some point which forces me to leave it with the screen down (when I remember), I would guess that happens when the battery full notification comes up.
That anoys me specially because sometimes the screen doesn't seem to follow the screen timeout settings and stays always on. It used to happen in stock froyo and still happens in eryigit gingerbread rom.
Does that happen to anyone else? Any tips?
I have the US version and when it finishes charging the screen stays on for about 3 minutes before turning off (I actually waited to see what would happen). I think it's a bug because my default settings is a minute. Try using different timeouts to see if that solves anything.

[Q] SE xperia active cm9 rc3-final

Hello!
1. Home button does not cause the desktop, long press on it does not cause a list of running programs.
2. Statistics of the battery reports that the phone all the time in the waking state, ie does not go to sleep. Wi-fi off, airplane mode is on (at night) - and still the phone does not go to sleep. At night, spent from 15% to 20% battery charge.
Google account sync allways is off. Chrome is not installed.
On cm7.2 at night, spent from 3% to 7% battery charge.
I'm using the SE Xperia Active android 4.0.4 rc3-final, the build number: IMM76D, kernel 2.6.32.9-KrSH kamarush # 1 Sun Apr 1 04:14:30 CEST 2012

[Q] Wifi wakeup delay with Power Saver

I noticed that with Power Saver turned on, when I woke up my phone, the wifi was off and it took about a full 5 seconds for it to turn on.
That is a long lag time, isn't it?
With Power Saver turned off, the wifi stays on. I just turned it off, so I don't know how this will affect my battery usage.
But my battery usage has been reasonably good so far, I usually go two days between charges. I've got Battery Widget Reborn installed, set up so that it automatically puts phone in airplane mode overnight. I've disabled the bloatware, twitter, etc.
How is wifi acting for other folks, if you have Power Saver turned on? How long does it take for your wifi to come back on?
Thx, Vicki
