CM9 Nightly for Prime now available...has anyone tried this yet? I'm tempted to give it a whirl, but may wait for braver souls to give it a try first and report their findings...
http://cm-nightlies.appspot.com/?device=tf201
All the d/l links on the page http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=tf201 seem to be broken atm
you're right...didn't try that before posting that it was available. With the recent announcements of nightlies being available for other devices, probably just a matter of time before they get to us
Old news... been up for well over a month now.
Sent from my CM7 Atrix 4G
The date of the new build is for the 29th, its 12.33am on the 30th here in Australia. I hope they merged the 4.0.4 AOSP code into it.
I'll be back in 8 hours after a snooze, it would be sweet if the links were fixed by then. I've been hanging for cm to update the tf201 nightlies. The one before yesterdays was just under a month ago..

dude, there's a new build for the 29th...
All I am hoping for is that the keyboard dock at least works. Like, no soft keyboard pops up on dock use. If it has that, I have a new DD for my TF201.

thanks to Koush and twitter here is a working mirror for cm nightlies. sorry if this is old news already.
pretty sure i can't post links so you'll have to fill in the gap(p)s ;P
jenkinsmanifest (.) clockworkmod (.) com/device/tf201
installed and booted. sick animation. like butta
[Edit] this begins running at 1.2ghz. using the cpu_overclock.bin from the TFP AOKP section by Jermaine cranks it up to 1.6...aaaand now it's perfect...really running great so far. minor market issues with compatibility but that's about all I can find. anything to look out for/test??

Well the first 2 builds have been available for a while now; the second of which flashes just fine, but has a lot of hangups.

are you rooted, unlocked and running the latest CWM recovery?
if so, take my first post, fill in the gaps for the link to the direct CM server, download the rom. transfer rom and latest ICS gapps (3/17) to your internal storage. boot into recovery, wipe, flash.
These seem to be working.

Its been decided that we won't use Cornerstone for the foreseeable future. The underlying implementation is not flexible and needs a lot of work.
It is 4.0.4. I forgot to get GAPPS before flashing, so Im downloading that now. It looks to be very AOSP right now. Will update in a minute
Edit- Having a issue with WiFi. I set it up and it works fine. I restart the tablet and it cannot connect and is stuck at "Turning on Wireless". Rebooting again has no effect. Toggling Airplane mode also has no effect.
Edit 2- Dock is working like it does with the AOKP- volume, lock, media, back button, and browser work, the other shortcut keys dont. It charges from the dock. Cameras work fine. Brightness works, but no IPS switch (duh). Overall, very promising! I hope the nightlies continue!

dalingrin- you dev'ing for the Transformer Prime? Loved your work on the Nook Color!
Sorry if I am being totally stupid .
I understand that oats is "upset" and has withdrawn and discontinued Light and Tasty but all link's for AOKP also appear to have disappeared. Are they both from the same person/source .
In the oats thread there was an announcement that the thread is discontinued and links deleted .
In AOKP I didn't see any announcement or links deleted. Just that the links now go nowhere.
Lets play nice , a simple answer if someone has it , not a referral to Google.
Thanks

Thanks for answering, what a horrible coincidence ! So no more AKOP either.
I can understand if a developer no longer has the time or inclination to continue with a build.
But not why existing links are canceled /deleted or why people are not allowed to share one's they already have .
I think it's AOKP not AKOP.

Tell me about it. Haven't updated my TP in 6 months and when I finally got around to it yesterday, I missed OaT's seemingly fantastic ROM's by mere hours.
I'm in the same boat as you guys. I finally had time to upgrade my touchpad to CM9 yesterday, and really wanted to try out Oats since everyone says it's super fast and smooth and near-perfect, but I missed it by a few minutes

Actually, this is one of the reasons why I hold onto all ROM's that I download, even the old ones: in case the links get taken down, I still have them for myself or anything else who might want them.

Seriously? That's almost 2 months old. In case you havent seen, about 2 weeks ago, protekk tweeted "breaking out the touch pad, no promises!". Seriously, do some research. Aokp supports the nexus devices right now. They rebuilt from scratch. What do you expect? A perfect build day 1? No. They are still working.

Burp!
To anybody who's watching this post now, first of all, why the heck are you doing this now?
Anyway, Protos 3 is near the horizon. We are working to bring all new Protos to you. But it is far below "nightly" (or "daily" if you prefer) state and will be so for some time. It isn't going to stay vanilla, and that's the thing that will take up some time. But we are going to bring lots o' changes. We are looking for developers and alpha testers (though we'll call them "beta testers"). Personally I am working on a new online tool for developers and testers, which may or may not be useful at all. If you fit into one of the above categories, don't hesitate to contact me or FD1999 through PMs or email.
Also, we are working on new Protos page and we have moved into a new domain: protos(dot)eu(dot)tf .
You can also contact me if you want to know more. Oh, and we will be going to have only one Protos version per device (preferring basing on latest available CM or similar).

Addendum to my post on returning to ICS, most likely Protos, which, now that I know this thread exists, certainly belonged here, not on the dev thread!
I am currently running Bytecode's CM10/Paranoid ROM. Same problems and foibles as Rashed's and others, but has the Paranoid options.
What did they give me?
Trebuchet scales icons and displays text labels correctly on grids denser than the 4x4 default. Long-standing bug that will likely never be fixed worked around nicely using Paranoid.
Asus Supernote UI scaled for our small screens and the thing can be used! How much I will ultimately use Supernote, who knows--I never used any of the others, but it looks interesting. Usually only runs on tablets. There are many such apps out there.
Talmud study app with a limited UI that robbed a large amount of screen area, now more reasonable usage so I can see more of what I use it to study. There are more than a few apps, not so neatly designed with such a problem, that become neater and more usable scaled with Paranoid.
General text-dominated apps like system properties and such can show more information, run in a tablet style mode, and just be more effective using Paranoid. One needs good eyes for some of this, but the option is there to take or leave.
I would love to see such capabilities in Protos as well.
Awesome rom so thank you Hope you continue update your rom.
Wait for Tablet mode, it's so great

demercie this thread is a good idea because alle the guys post on the unofficial builds threads when i have a news about the mayor fix of the nightly i post here thanks
I've been running the last of the UNofficial 10.1 nightlies, dated May 22. Other than no autorotation, it seems to run just fine. Once the Official nightlies started a few weeks ago, I jumped in and flashed a few, up to the 0629 nightly. In addition to the autorotation issue, suddenly my dock battery is not recognized, and I have (apparently already known) issues where both external SD cards are not recognized, on the device or in Windows. Checking the changelogs, I note that there have been HUGE changes/additions in the last few nights, so I figured I'd try the July 4 nightly. BIG effing mistake, UI crashes immediately, multiple error mesages, and I could barely get back to TWRP to restore my faithful 0522 Unofficial.
Thoughts on why the unofficial build works fine, but the "official" ones don"t? What could I be doing wrong?
Thx...

Sort of. I did do a number of cache wipes, but I admit I never did do a full wipe/ factory reset. I also note on other forums that the early July Nightlies are causing others some of the same crashes I saw, so I guess I'm not alone. We'll have to be patient
Aren't the Unofficial builds a port of the TF300 or TF700 builds? It would definitely account for the fact we're starting all over with features on the nightly builds as this would be a completely new tree starting from the ground up on inclusion of feature sets as the build comes together.
Been running the nightly for a few days now and it's been just fine for me. Of course, I did start off the entire 10.1 journey with a total wipe first.
BUILD cm-10.1-20130701-NIGHTLY-tf201
A couple obvious missing features to point out for those who may be just getting to this:
Auto-rotate not working
Dock/Keyboard battery not recognized
Function buttons on the keyboard not recognized (obviously)
Loading up the 0706 Nightly right now so I'll run through the motions later and give a more detailed outline of things I notice.
---------- Post added at 10:22 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:43 AM ----------
OK, cm-10.1-20130706-NIGHTLY-tf201 should be avoided.
When it comes up it immediately starts throwing System UI failures. Had to force power off and go into recovery mode in order to gain control.
Last known good for me was cm-10.1-20130701-NIGHTLY-tf201 so I rolled back to that from TWRP. Considering it's reported that this issue appears on the 0704 as well, I figured it was safest to go back that route for now.
I think I'll give it a few days before trying another build and just keep an eye on the builds to see if anything significant changes to resolve this.
For now, 20130701 is the most stable that I'm aware of. Perhaps someone else can chime in if they are running anything newer successfully.

Thanks for the confirmations. And yes, as you indicate, the Unofficials are built on the TF700. I did a complete wipe/reset etc and then tried the 0701 that seems to work fine, but I ran into the same problems. In addition to the three issues noted above, I continue to have no access to either of the external SD cards, which for me is a show-stopper. I'll have to stick with the 0522 Unofficial for a while, at least it's fully functional for me..

The latest nightly has a force close on System UI. I even wiped EVERYTHING and did a clean install... Same thing. Going back one night, and things should be just fine!

Initially he did exactly that. Then a one of the mods deleted half a dozen posts. Take a look at the mods post in the other thread.
Since the other poster moved on, it's probably best anyway. That way he can update the build dates.
ok, so my brother has a flakey 4g lte. I tried to refresh his phone to stock and he still seems to have some issues.
I would like to throw a custom build on there and I think this would be a great one. He has never been rooted, has taken all the latest OTAs, etc and is S-ON. So... what the best S-OFF to use for the latest firmware one? I am guessing rumrunner? Then from there, TWRP recovery I see is required, but it also says use the new partition layout. Is that the F2FS?
Also, does this rom come with the easy CM updater? Or are they all manual for now?
Thanks.

Is the bootloader unlocked? If not, that's what needs to be done prior to getting S-Off.
Rumrunner should work just fine.

Hope this helps.
New build.
New build. Sorry it took a while, I was having trouble getting it to build and I just ended up downloading the sources fresh. I'm going to be RMAing my motherboard after Christmas because it currently works with only a single stick of RAM, so it will be a little bit for more builds. I'll be sure to put a new one out before I do though.

Has anyone noticed that focus no longer works in any camera app with the update to 5.0.2? This seems to be present across all 5.0.2 ROM's.

I hadn't used the camera yet but checking now it does seem that way.

I've tried all the current ROM's, AICP, BlissPop, CM, SlimLP, and LiquidSmooth LP and this issue is present in all ROM's so I'm guessing it goes further than just the CM tree.

Ok, thanks. I'll add these to the op.
Christmas present for you guys.
I'm curious if anyone is using this (or any) cm12 rom on an Activated htc evo 4g lte sprint phone. I ask because I have a couple of these phones that are not activated I give my kids to play with. My wife has this phone also and I'm thinning about installing this on her phone but wanted to know if I should expect any issues with data or GPS. We travel allot so a concern is the ability to quickly transition from 3g to 4g back to 3g. With a "stock based" rom it has no problem but I noticed with cm11 it had issues keeping data

You Sir are a CHAMP!
Do you know are the "post-22nd" bugs mentioned in the op still there? I know you're not doing dev on this yourself, just curious if anyone has noted upstream fixes and this thread is pretty quiet.
Wanting to take it for another spin but with small kids and holidays my camera is getting a workout. If not I'll fire it up here in a day or two, check for myself, and report back
Thanks a ton for keeping this going. I'm squeezing every last mile out of this phone as my family is between homes at the moment so I'm squirreling away every dollar I can.

Still doing it on my phone. I'll probably do a new build when I go to bed.
EDIT: Now I'm not an expert at this but this looks like it should fix it, so I guess in the morning I'll find out, I'll be sure to change the OP if it does.
