I9300 freezes + blue led flashing

Hi
I'm having a problem with my S3. Sometimes my phone won't wakeup after night. The blue led is on and i must reinsert battery to turn on the phone. My soft is XELLA so i was thinking that's problem with sudden death won't bother me but that's not right?
Is my phone slowly dying?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Try factory reset, if the phone boots normally after a battery pull then it isn't terminal yet.
Odp: I9300 freezes + blue led flashing
OK, i will try this. I hope that's will help.

i am having the same issue with xella, i want to install another rom
It's I9300XXELLA with 4.1.2 android, without root or anything custom.

Same thing happens to my phone on same XELLA 4.1.2 firmware , should be back after 20 minutes , and use the DFG method to stop the freezing , I fixed mine that way

Is there no newer "firmware" for your country? Latest firmwares that most other people have is pretty much freeze free. Since MB3 in February

I don't quite know what you're asking?
If you're rooted, flashing a custom kernel like perseus or siyah should be all you require

Well , my device has been freezing alot yesterday like 3 times and I want a freeze free firmware , The MB3 version is a leak 4.2.1 for i9300 , is it recommended to use it as my main firmware ? And perseus kernel is freeze free ?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
The fix is in the kernel so if you use perseus, you don't need to change the android build
I meant from MB1 sorry not 3.

I want a stock kernel , can I use a firmware from sammobile and flash it with stock recovery? And which country firmware to flash?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
I had this issue as well on rooted stock 4.1.2 ROM, I installed Android Revolution HD of same Android build (newer firmware), and never had it again. Tried also few other ROMs as well (official MIUI and ParanoidAndroid), also didn't experience this kind of freezing. Must be Firmware related, because I'm pretty sure that I was experiencing probs on XELLA firmware as well.

Why would you want the inefficient stock kernel if you're rooted?
You can flash official roms via odin
