You need to use an app like setCPU or Voltage Control to OC
If your on JVP then hands down...... CMenards bullet kernels... there is a 1.2ghz, 1.42ghz (recommended by me), and the crazy 1.54ghz! Good luck running it though. I would say it was about 80% stable when I tried it. The 1.42 and the 1.54 both have smartass governors...... which are sweet.......
SETCPU IS NECESSARY!!!!

Mine did that too when I first got this phone. After I rooted and installed cm9 beta 2 with v2 1.3 it then showed as two cores. Has been sense. That should be something to look into though. Kinda strange

That's my score before ics ota, tried to upload the screen shot of new score but apparently ics screen shots aren't the right format
Edit: I changed format to jpg but now can't upload any more pics. Don't care about that sinceyou get the idea.

Quadrant is not yet fully compatible with ICS, which is why you're getting sub-par scores. Just a suggestion: Try not to let quadrant get to you; your scores were satisfactory on Gingerbread.

This was taken Nov 10, 2011.
But quadrant score doesnt actually show you the actual performance of your phone, it's not to be taken seriously.
(Don't even have quadrant or any benchmark apps installed anymore)
Stock ROM put on Performance profile, 2025 on antutu. Is that good?

Quadrant scores

I see all over the place people posting their Quadrant scores. Now of course everyone wants their phone to run fast as possible..but my question is does these scores mean anything.. I have been running meanrom and his scores ate the fastest I have seen.. they have been going down over the past few updates and he does nit want to pur in some tweaks I would like so I decided to try out other rims.. most were pretty unimpressive and gave quadrant scored slightly lower but not too much. All these tons were based on the new kernel. I looked at viper and on paper it looked impressive. Once installed I coukdnt quite get it to do all it advertised but it has all the tweaks I want and so it would be nice to run. Now I run quadrant and it is 1000 less than mean. I suspect most of that is due to viper being on the old kernel. But here is the kicker.. I really do not see where my phone is any slower. One would think a drop if 1000 would be noticeable.. was just wonder what you guys think of this.. in the meantime I am going to see what the battery life on this Rom is.
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Quadrant scores don't equal performance. There was a phone that lg made that at the time blew away all phones in quadrant and it wasn't due to raw power, it had dual channel memory, over all performance wasn't so good
Quadrant has nothing to do with the performance of the phone, its easily manipulated...there was a dev on the 3d forums a while back that did just that...everyone swore his Rom ran best because the quandrants were so high, but it was a placebo affect...
