There you go...

MY HERO!
Simply install via CWM not possible?
Yes, but I'm a little noob, I don't know how to pack the necessary files to make a .zip file to be used with CWM. Sorry... I hope someone who knows better will see this one... Otherwise, do as I described, using Root Explorer... It's very easy
Sorry mates i installed this on my neo v exactly what you said, but i have only the text sony ericcson instead of sony and then i get xperia how can that be??

The first logo shown when you first boot your phone (Sony Ericsson logo if you are on stock...), depends on the kernel you have. There is a way to change it without actually changing kernel, but you have to be an experienced user. Look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1477845
(I personally am too noob to try this, although I will sometime...)
The file I posted, replaces only the animation shown AFTER the first logo (Sony Ericsson logo), with the Xperia animation from Xperia S.
I hope I made it clear in some way.

I think you should reboot into recovery and login to device using adb.
Hi,
Recently I tried some MODs from mini/minipro/active subforum. I dont know which exactly but I assume one of this mods changed my system information from my original Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman to Xperia Arc that is displayed on my settings>about menu.
Even Sony Pc companion is showing my device as xperia arc instead of Live with walkman wt19i.
See attachment
How can I fix it?
Edit /system/build.prop, probably ro.product.id or something similar, or just copy the whole build.prop from the rom you started with.

I dont know how to start with the text file you gave me. But thanks anyway
search for build.prop editor on market.
take a look at the original build.prop (with a text viewer) and spot where the phone model is mentioned.
then using the editor change the same lines to the ones using the values from the original.
save and reboot

I couldn't find a BIOS animation for the Xperia S.
After a few requests on my old boot animation for Xperia P (look here) I made one for Xperia S by myself from a XDA template.
Right resolution and it says "Xperia S (LT26i)" on top.
I hope it will work, cause I can't test it (I have Xperia P).
But 3 ppl were testing and said, it works!
Installation
Copy to SD
Move from SD to system\media
In system\media rename the file bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip2
Rename moved file to bootanimation.zip
the worst that could happen is that you boot up with no bootanimation or with stock android boot animation. i think. not sure.
Download
Will flash this immediatly when dl link is there
Sent with my Sony Xperia S using a little bit of KA magic.
Also one for xperia ion please.
Great, I love that.
Waiting for dowload

Hi Guys! These is a SystemUI for 2.3.4 (4.0.2.A.0.62) with 12 notification toggles and swipe to remove the notification for those who stayed on gingerbread.
Tried on my stock neo V gingerbread.
I switchback to gingerbread which was the native OS of our neo V. (to get rid the lags from ics..it is a personal opinion..
Added Xperia Z DefaultThemes..!!
I hope you like it!!! Don't forget to click Thanks button.. :good:
Requirement:
- Rooted NeoV running stock 2.3.4 .62
How:
1. extract the zip file on your computer.
2. copy the extracted files to your SDcard.
3. push the files inside /system using file explorer(overwrite the existing).
4. change the right permission
5. reboot.
***For swipe to remove the notification + toggle, simply use CWM to install it..thanks..

I can't take a screen shot on my screen in 2.3.4 with the stock...it's just a typical status bar with color toggles and you can swipe the notifications on it. I will be posting it soon.
Question!

Thanks in Advance!!

Hey XDA,
This is my first ever post here and I'm going to share a boot animation I made for the Xperia U. I think this will work on the Xperia Sola too, as it has the same resolution (480x854). Im not able to add images because I don't have 10 posts yet, but I included a preview in the archive (in the attachment).
How to install
1. Extract the file (you will get bootanimation.zip and preview.gif)
2. Copy bootanimation.zip to your phone.
3. Move it into /system/media (you might want to rename the original bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak or something like that)
4. Change permissions to rw-r--r-- (you can do this with root browser)
5. Reboot your phone to see it!
I hope you like it! :good:

I'd like to make one for Xperia P but I'm not 100% sure if it would work if I just change the resolution, and I don't have that phone to test it on. However here is the guide I used: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1993710
I used GIMP for editing the logo and After Effects CC for animation it and exporting it as frames.
thanks :good:
