i was trying to flash the UOT ZIP on my stock rom... but it always ends with error status (0)...... anyboody knows how to fix it.....?????

Open zip file and go to meta-inf and then com-google-android and change update -binary to any update-binary file like any kenerl update-binary file.

thanx vikas..... i updated the binary and it flashed correctly..... but their is no transparency in the notification bar... which i selected on "ultimate online kitchen"..... can you tell how to enable transparency on STOCK rom......

It is to simple to deodoxed but not very hard.use kitchen to deodoxed your rom.not uot kitchen.i don't remember the exact name but you can search in xda with htc kitchen.

don't change the recovery type from type default to type optimus when creating uot theme.. let it be type default and there will be no error flashing uot theme

Flash successfully but didn't change anything on status bar. Its still SanGingerAce default.

I haven't used acpatcher.. so what files does that actually provide you!!
I guess it should be framework and systemui....
if it is so then upload the patched framework and systemui in kitchen and then kitchen will provide you with a flashable zip.... just flash that

i have made the zip from "ultimate online kitchen"..... to make the notification bar transparent....and changed the barrey icons etc.....
i flashed the UOT everything went correct.... but NOTIFICATION BAR is not transparent..... anybody knows how to do that... on STOCK GB ROM....

Regarding UOT Kitchen questions/problems you have to ask in their official forum -> [KITCHEN][01/22] UOT Kitchen (Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen) version 4.0
They can help you with your problem if you have used their kitchen.
Also, from what i know in some roms, even custom stock roms (odexed or deodexed) transparency is not working, but to be sure you have to ask in the mentioned forum.

use xultimate v.2.33 to deodex your rom..

Transparency isnt supported in 2.2 (froyo), you can manually edit the img in system.ui using gimp or photoshop

status bar is given by framework-res.apk and
lge-res.apk files. These files are present in /system/framework directory. if rom you are using is deodexed, it is possible. you can use dsixda android kitchen. thats awesome.

SURELY. BUT FOR THAT YOU HAVE TO BRING WHOLE FRAMEWORK DIRECTORY. AND PLEASE USE ANDROID KITCHEN. BECAUSE IF YOU UNZIP, REPLACE DIRECTORIES AND ZIP IT AGAIN, THEN THE ZIP FILE MAY NOT REMAIN FLASHABLE. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=901417 CHECK THIS THREAD IF YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT ANDROID KITCHEN.
1.) Select your picture and resize to:
(750 x 1250)
2.) Download - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390288116658474160
3.) Extract the zip
4.) Put the file in sd card
5.) Copy your picture to the folder - morph/system/app/systemUI.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi
6.) Copy and paste two more times and rename each and every one of them - back.png - pulldown.png - pulldown_img.png
7.) Zip - all four of the ones in the file
8.) Backup your SystemUI.apk (just in case)
9.) Flash in cwm, twrp, ect.
10.) Enjoy! :thumbup::thumbup:

I did and follow all the steps but when i flashed it through TWRP but i get an error message telling me that it couldn't find "Morph" and "SystemUI.apk".... :-/ So nothing was modify...

Did it, with transparent pngs and black ones... Status bar disappeared, without FC. With black pngs, home screen just turn black!?

Mr S_sway , why do u post something when u you really dont have the knowledge ? the systemui.apk first needs to be decompiled and then the xml file needs to be edited to support the background image in the notification background
.. the method u have posted is of no use , unless the person is using the modded systemui.apk
the stock systemui.apk is not modded and OMEGA Roms also have the SystemUI.apk which is not modded to support background images
so guys dont waste your time downloading the zip file and trying to get the background image , unless u have the rom with modded systemui.apk that supports notification background , this will not work .
