was browsing the themes section of xda earlier, found this, would be sick if we could have somebody port this to our atrix!

It's the sense 4 task switching menu for ICS, and i'd try to do it myself but i have no experience what so ever in porting/theming/coding/etc.
anybody down to port this over?

If I'm not wrong, you can only port it if you port sense, which, again , if I'm not wrong, is almost impossible... correct me if I'm wrong devs...

Actually, its not such a dead end after all. He's considering it as an extra for his kitchen sink project. Just be patient, he's having some problems in real life now, so just back off a bit.

Considering we still dont even have sense froyo i highly doubt that
A couple devs are playing around with it, but at a very slow pace. You'll be waiting a bit, do it patiently. Remember, we don't all get to see what's going on behind the scenes, you never know, someone could be very close to releasing something soon.

Haha. My only bug is when I changed SIPs once it disabled multitouch.
Now that the MIUI ROM has been ported (supposedly) to the G1, what are the possibilities of any devs working to get it onto the Eris. If I knew anything about development, trust me, I would be the first to get on this, I love this rom. Anyway, here is a link to the G1 porting efforts, let me know what any of our awesome devs think...

yeah, most of the people on there no longer have SGS phones.
I'm getting ready to do the same.
Helauncher in the market has a sense style launcher setting you can use. I know its not the full sense experience but its better than nothing.

Same Appreciate all the devs hard work, but at this point, just seems like the Vibrant/SGS are dead in the water for long term development.

As current roms stand there are no AOSP roms out at the moment . But also bare in mind root status is still very new , if anything still in its infancy . Give it time and before you know it AOSP will be ready for flashing . I know cyanogenmod was ported to the Sensation already , so I dont think EVO3D will be to far off from that . Some Devs have had roms on standby waiting for root to hit but never had a device to test stability on (even though there were s-off devices running around in the wild) . Like I said give it more time , heck the development thread has already started up with kernal threads and rom threads . The fun is just now begining so kick back and enjoy the ride
I'm not trying to be rude but there's a fee threads on this already.
But yeah first I heard it would be ported and cyanogen wouldn't officially support it then I heard that toastch is working on it. So I can't wait either.

MIUI is a complete framework replacement with its own alternative apps compared to a stock ROM. It has many built-in functions working together as one, for example music player + different modes of the lockscreen. Most of the applications are created anew and are much better/snappier to use than the stock ones, like the gallery. If you have never tried it, you should. It has (one of) the most beautiful Android UI available.
No need to convince me. I second this.

I don't think the OP has to make any kind of argument to you.
MIUI is well known - and loved, in some circles - and a request for porting/development is well within any users remit. Whether any one does or not (port/develop) is a different matter, but doesn't stop a simple request!
