Does anyone know how to install a skin on a Samsung Galaxy SII, where do I put the font as there is no font folder and what do I do with the .UCCW file?
Put the files & folders into the folder: ultimatecustomclockwidget.

Hi to all. First i'm new in this forum and at whole in android. Sorry if there is a thread like this or the place is not here and sorry for my bad english
I have a few questions about my Samsung Galaxy Young - 5360.
1. How to edit the status bar icons like battery, 3G , etc.
2. How to make a folders in the menu coz i have 7 pages of apps , and its out of order ( shuffle). This is for now.
P.S.
I'm talking about the stock rom. I don't wanna a custom rom , prefer the original one. And the phone is not rooted, but i will if need.
Thanks to all , and have a nice evening.
Well for the status bar you need to mod the SystemUI.apk which can be found in /system/app you pull it to your computer extract using a program like win rar go to res folder edit the pngs you want then put the res folder with moded files back to the archive and then using root explorer or adb(you need root) replacebthe original one with the moded one.As for the folders in drawer I suggest ylusing a different launcher lile adw or go launcher and make categories. For this you don't need root.

Thanks for the info bro. But how to go to system/app and then how to mod this .apk file ?
You can use root explorer and then just long press the apk until a mebu shows up and then select copy after that navigate to the sd card and then click paste. After that just mount the sd card on your computer and you can then copy it on a local hard drive

Hello
I am a S4 new user comming from iPhone 5, on iPhone I can edit pictures/splash screen for the installed apps by just browsing to the installation dir for the app and edit whats inside..
my question is now I am rooted, is the APK file contents get extracted somewhere in the phone or it stays as it is?
and If yes where is the location?
regards
APK stays as it is at data/app and system/app
Ok. Thanks for the reply.

Just as the title says, I like the capabilities of JB ROM but I am not one to like the always blacked out colors of the backgrounds and apps etc. Is there a stock ROM theme for the ROM?

Agree would be nice for stock lovers or even an s4 theme.

Why dont you guys use a theme porter? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=737526
I would put this folder in the C:/ drive after you extract it.
Download a stock rom and move all the file from /framework and /app into the theme porter (you will see /framework and /app folders inside of the "old" and "new" folders.) The stock rom goes into the "old folder"
Now do the same for Beans and put it into the "new" folder.
Run the script and do option 1.
Put those "new" files back into Beans rom and flash.
Make a back up first, just to be safe. I never tried it on so many apps.

Sounds easy but I am actually looking for an s4 theme. My fault for not being clear. Although I think this will help the OP

Hey, so I've been searching around but I couldn't find any clues. Right now I have a complete system dump for a HTC One Rom. How could add root to it and make it flashable via recovery?
