It is a lower score than what you would get from running quadrent with eugenes froyo rom...
I believe it has something to do with stagefright being enable in the build prop...still runs fast..
Just installed, got all my screens and launcher setup, so so far its really good. I've got better keyboard installed but I don't think ill be using it anytime soon cause I'm in love with the skin on the default keyboard. Awesome update HtcClay!

Pretty much anything is possible, with enough work. So did you mean a background to the statusbar itself, or a background to the whole expanded taskbar (once it's pulled down)?
I've seen both while back on Gingerbread. I believe the tweaks are similar, if not the same.

These battery mods were built against the Onecosmic ICS framework. Flashing one of these may damage your ICS Passion experience, like boot-looping, lost functionality, or cosmetic differences. For ICS Passion, you need to go to this thread.

5 minutes in and ok,
on 1st boot, tablet shutdown before loading homescreen, turned back on, and it loaded fine, connected to wifi, had a look around, fine. rebooted to recovery which just black screened on me. powered off and on, just installing gapps. but whilst on, seemed stable. all other ics and jb roms seem to crash on me every 20 seconds for some reason.
That problem occurs with Chris's build aswell. It's because of the kernel. Random rebooting.

Great job, I just don't get... How is it related to Linaro?
Well, the original rom was built using Linaro toolchain. I ported that rom here, but I think Linaro was in the Kindle Fire's boot image instead of the system
It's somehow faster though...
I'm noticing that it seems a bit more stable as far as kernel crashes or random reboots that the 0.4.1 version of cm10 was for me.
Only real issue I've had is that some apps "aren't compatible", such as hbogo, and that some apps fc when switching from vertical to horizontal, namely apex launcher or even the default launcher.
All in all though, a very nice job.
Edit: I noticed that it sees the sdcard as a usb device, which means when you reboot, you have to reinstall any apps that you had on the sdcard, and that you can't see the storage in the settings.

This should fix your problem with play store. I'll see if I can make sdcard work with some build.prop mods tomorrow. For now I need sleep

Interesting side note, discovered last night, changing the LCD density in the build prop to 130 enables tablet mode... not sure if it works on other JB builds as well, but I wouldn't see why not.
Sent from my NookTablet using xda app-developers app
It works on other JB builds, it's just that everyone has it set at 160 in the build.prop in their builds. I'm using my rom right now in tablet mode
BTW, next version will be hosted on goo.im instead of MediaFire!
This ROM is awesome! Very very smooth, apps open in a snap, and rotation is on point! Just some problems with the screen going black then I have to force reboot, and also Google Now, does not work

Welcome to the SOSA Discussion Thread
[In my Infomercial voice] Here at SOSA, we are dedicated to giving you a quality experience, that's why we go beyond HTC Sense! Here, we give you a taste of Cyanogenmod, with a taste of the overseas love through FlyMe, and Just a dash of Mozilla with Boot2Gecko, all coming soon to an Evo 3D near you. At this time, because we currently do not do source code builds, we exclusively support the CDMA Evo 3D (Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin, etc.) and have no way of testing anything GSM related. As you can see, per our lineup, we are ALMOST exclusively AOSP, big names like Team Imagika, Venom, Team 420 and chubbz have the HTC Sense scene on lock Hope you enjoy it.
Here is where we talk about updates to the ROMs we have, and is the overall headquarters for all things SOSA, including tweaks, of course ROMs, and other contributions like wallpapers and stuff.
So, here is how the thread is set up:
First post: ROMs - Find all info on your favorite ROM, including changelogs, what to expect, and troubleshooting
Second Post: Team Info - All our team members, what ROM they are maintaining, and info about them
Third Post: Wallpaper/Sound Packs, Splashes, etc. - Self Explainitory
Fourth Post: IDK Yet lol
Thanks in advance for support

3rd Dimension Anorexia
Introducing 3rd Dimension Anorexia, brought to you by SOSA Developers
What is this?
It is Slim ICS inspired (no it is not a direct port of slim ICS) for the E3D. With this ROM, you can either starve your phone (keep it stock) or feed it (download apps), you are in complete control! This is not meant to be some tweaked out rom with a bagillion apps that you probably wont use, in this case, we want to give you the most freedom you have ever had with your phone, and not let the ROM hog up your space!
v2.1
Call screen fixed
Added all2SD
Removed vanilla
Added Apollo
Fixed DSP manager
Maybe more

Note to users about 2.0.1
I installed the ROM myself on my system with the following:
4EXT Recovery (SmartFlash OFF)
Juopunutbear Hboot
Latest ICS Firmware bits (not the ENTIRE firmware)
S-OFF
I have PERSONALLY tested all of these to make sure they function at the least!
Wifi (If it wont start for you, restart the phone, I did this)
3G (Tweaks Make it better, personal testimony)
4G (Dont own it, but It turns on and scans, turns off without rebooting)
Bluetooth (Turns on)
Theme Manager (Downloaded JB theme and applied, then restarted to be sure)
MMS Sending and Recieving (Wifi must BE OFF to RECIEVE MMS)
Camera (Photo/Video) (No Reboot required before/after either)

Everything else works!
PLEASE DO NOT ASK ABOUT THE FOLLOWING!!!
3D - IT SHOULD BE A GIVEN BY NOW THAT IT DOESNT WORK!
ANY BUG IN DEVIL TOAST 0.7.4 CM9. unless what I did fixed it by coincidence, it is still broken!

v1.0
-Initial Release
Thank you user Alammori for this!
Hboot 1.5+ users have reported no booting, Downgrade people, it makes your life easier
What makes it so great?
-More space!
On average, you get about 1 to 1.01 GB (aka, 1 GB plus 10 extra MB max) with an AOSP Rom after you install the Rom+Gapps
With this, after installing the entire ROM (Gapps Included, explaination below) you have 1.07 GB (1 GB plus 70 MB) free to do with it what you please! 60 MB of additional user space!!!!!
-It's Slim, so it's faster, less processes in the background, and better battery life
-You (the user) get the ultimate control over what you put in your phone, more data for applications
-So many more benefits I cannot begin to describe
-Stock OC'd to 1.5 GHz (can be changed in the settings menu)
What doesn't work?
-Face Unlock option not available YET (minor bug, test to see if it works for you though)
-You tell me, runs fine on my end
-edit: 3D DOES NOT WORK lol (boot animation should though, so this statement isnt 100% true)
The Specs:
Wifi - Works
3G - Works
4G - IDK I dont have that
Bluetooth - Works
GPS - Works
Multitouch - Works
Calls/Texts - Works
Every App available on the phone as is - Works

Really weird issues here.
When flashing 3DA_2.1.zip it just throws up the teamwin splash screen and goes back to twrp main screen. Had tried downloading it multiple times now. Never to phone, always on computer. Never have had issues with corrupt downloads.
h-boot 1.40, twrp 2.2. Should probably also mention i was running 2.0.1 just fine.
EDIT: Never mind seemed to work fine after an adb reboot recovery, couldn't even reboot from recovery. TWRP must of just beein bugging out.

Is there a specific reason as to why every ROM I'm on, if I use PIE, or Halo I get ridiculous lag? My notification stutters a great amount, and it seems as if the phone struggles to even change menus in the settings. I can't seem to find any resolution to this problem. I love the Galaxy Note a great amount, but this is making me want to switch to another phone. I've tried almost everything possible, even to the point where I wiped all of my precious data.

I've noticed lag when dealing with Halo, do not use it an only used it to test. Have used PIE before but no lag as you mentioning. If you are running both that could be the reason. Personally I do not use either so disable those and you should notice a difference. If not, re-wipe and re-flash and start over.

I have tried wiping, etc. I don't run both at the same time, no interest in Halo, Pie? yes. I'm just baffled as to why I can't solve this issue.

what ROM are you running is a good question. if you have a ripple effect on lockscreen, disabling that can help. if not as suggested disabling you Halo and even Pie is a possible start. I would then go to application manager and force stop if process is still running and then clear cache.
see how it runs then. if no lag, you can always restart Pie to try again. if lag comes back, there is your problem. if you have the Halo option, then I have a pretty good idea what kind of ROM you are running. I would think that it is a 4.2 ROM. if that is the case, you most likely have some Kernal options to try.
if it is one of JAIMED81's ROM's, he has a Q&A thread and you could get recommendations there as to which Kernal will work with which ROM.
good luck

I'm on Rootbox, but this problem is prevalent in all the ROM's I've used, I did what you suggested, no progress. I'll check out his Q&A thread, if not I guess I won't be using PIE. D:

that is one of JAIMED81's ROM's..........I figured.
his and others with CM based ROM's offer the Halo. still think there is some bugs to work out, but I think you ill get good advice there on alternate KERNAL that works well with that ROM

Try this set up and see if it works, it's what I am running right now and so far is flawless.
Download; Carbon Rom, they are nightlies so grab the most recent one
Download; Uber Kernel
Download: Trickster Mod
Flash the rom and kernel and the gapps. Once up and running
Download: Trickster mod and sslauncher or any other launcher that you like if you feel the need to do so.
Trickster settings and info as follows:
Scroll to specific and turn off MP Decision hit the check mark at the top right hand corner
Scroll to General: Setting I have are -
TCP: cubic
Read Ahead: 3072
scheduler: sio
Frequency Lock: On
Min- 384000
Max - 1620000
Governor: smartassv2
Be sure to hit the check mark after each change and hit the menu button when done with all and set on boot, click enable and notification, can also click delay if you would like a delay.
Should help speed you up some.
If you look at the Rootbox OP it is posted by Bradl79 (not one of Jamie's?) .... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=42148121
{ROM}<4.2.2>[UnOfficial Rootbox 4.1 AOKP/CM/PA]<ViPER4Android Audio Mod>(HALO)[07/09].
I have not tried this one as it mentions issues with the camera straight off. Currently using uXYLON with halo. (Must have paranoid halo app installed from play store to make use of it!) I have read that each phone is different but I have not experienced the lag you described.

your right, my bad........this is a BRADL79 ROM
never the less, a cm based ROM ( I know, AOKP also), therefore going to suffer some of the same effects.
an alternate Kernal is still going to be the possible fix or alieviation to your side effects.

what I think I will do, is no longer quote what base a ROM is. maybe its just my terminology that is wrong. all the more reason right?
what I keep seeing in OP's is "all merges from CM10"(for example) now that I am paying a bit more attention, that is for kernel?
go easy on me, I am still trying to learn some of this stuff. I don't mean to give any offense in misquoting the base of a ROM. all respect to you and the others who sacrifice for us. I just try and help whenever I can so the big brains don't have to sweat the small stuff.
this may be the 2nd or maybe 3rd time you have caught me in my terminology blunder.
again, I will either double check or not quote.
sorry JAIMED81

Was just helping out didn't mean it to come off as bad
But yes kernel and some device repo stuff

not at all Jaime............I was quoting wrong info to some new members here.
even though the information within regard to base was wrong, I do believe most help I give is accurate and true or at least steer foks in the right direction.
again, developers are the selfless ones here and I am merely trying to help where others have helped me.
