I am desperate: yesterday, while attempting to prepare a custom rom using the tools of Condi (my fault), i locked the tablet (just after the Sony logo boot off) combining a mess.
Now I'm not even able to restore it using the original version that I downloaded probably because it is already installed .....
For this reason I am looking for someone that when out ICS share an update
complete official for this device:
Last update installed (I think): signed-nbx03_009-ota-0042.002.zip
Tablet S
16G
WiFi not 3G
ITA
There is someone?
Thank in advance.
I'm in the same boat as you and was hoping someone would post the 16GB Wifi version for the UK when available.

I'll simply need some firmware or custom firmware to fix my sony tablet brick. It still boots, but due to some careless systems-.apk uninstalling, I have lost the ability to install apps from google play (a.k.a. android market). My unit is the sony tablet s 32 GB (sgpt112us/s or sgpt112uss) If anyone knows where I could get some honeycomb or ICS firmware to flash with I'd be ever greatful. Thx XDA!
Dear NaKiSm,
Search in this forum under "OTA-encrypted]official firmwares" and maybe that You
can find something for restore or search in reply in previous thread of 'neosys'.
or maybe that Condi or other expert can save You..

I've run all the entire forums looking for this and i have not found it! i have bought this tablet used & blocked. I was trying to update it, but no updates are working on this thing, i've been to joyplusgroup.com and downloaded the firms, none did work, the damn tablet stays on the joyplus boot logo and now I'd installe a gigerbread update of another tablet, but it still wont boot up. I need a copy of the stock firmware of somebody that owns this tablet. i will be gratefull to you the rest of my life!
This is a telechip tcc8803 with Atheros wifi, model: Joyplus M778
I would also like to know if there is a custom firm that i can install in this tablet or like a nother android operating system thats compatible with this thing!!
THANKS A LOT
I have found a stock firmware download on the official joyplus website. I don't own this tablet, but i think that this may help you.
Link for downloading of the firmware: http://www.joyplusgroup.com/en/service/filedownload/
It's the second file on the dowload list, I hope This helps.
Best Regards.

Hello developers.
First, I swear that I already searched all the forum posts for my device support (Sharp SH930W - Japan smartphone) but there are none.
I can't find the way to root my phone and of course I can't install ROM (if available) for this phone too . I know that this is not a famous smartphone but it running Android 4.1.1 and have all the standard apps, the phone is quite powerful itself (dual core, 2Gb RAM, 5inch IGZO screen)
If there is noway to root it, perhaps help me to toggle fullscreen mode (hide status bar, bottom bar). I tried many app on CHPlay but all of them for rooted device or older Android version.
Please help.
er, emergency. Please Help?
Got this phone in Thailand... Some help with rooting would be greatly appreciated
Edit: the SHBreak tool might be useful, but I haven't figured out how to use it - bit.ly/ZPh6An (can't post proper links yet, sorry)

I am waiting :good::good::good:
So, right now the situation is:
SHBreak didn't work
Bin4ry's root didn't work
No flashable custom recovery available
Can't extract stock recovery (to get started with CWM builder)
How are we supposed to get started? Probably by finding a proper exploit, but I can only wait for that
Bin4ry said that his root won't work (I checked out on the pre-FeelUX firmware as well) and I still haven't got an answer from the guy responsible for SHBreak. Maybe somebody who speaks Japanese could help in the communication process
hi guys,
well, here we are....bought the mobile in Taiwan, like the display and it was cheap (11900 NTD which is around 300 euro). no root modified ROM or rooting available.

Hello since this is my 1st post be gentle =P
Anyway last year I bought a Generic Tablet this one: cutedevices .com/hena-mid-1107cm-android-tablet-spotted-at-the-fcc-0110. html (Just remove the spaces)
Its basically a generic Tablet, that I can't track down the original manufacture, anyway I wanted to see if I could install a Custom Rom or at least update it to android 4.2.2 or even 4.3, is there anyway I can achieve this, SuperClickOne manage to root it, but I have no idea what drivers it use to do so. And Goo Manager didn't find any compatible rom for it either.
Thank You in advance for the help.
Cheers
Bump.... No one??
Good day!
I wounder if anybody can help me here...
Few weeks ago I got a 9.7 inch tablet what is looks like E-ceros revolution tablet but not real one... (China copy without any description on the back lid).
It was very laggy so I decided to write tweaked rooted firmware for E-ceros revolution tablet. All specs where the same:
RK3188 CPU 1,6GHZ; Mali 400 GPU; 9.7 inch... All details(book photos and other) attached...
After I flashed the firmware("Ceros Revolution CT9716 Android 4.4.2 KitKat custom root firmware" or after failure the Q9white_update_FT5406_20130806.img) using RKAndoidtool 1.7. I figured out that forgot to make the backup of entire device, when tablet rebooted I see black screen(with back light) and computer show as usb device connected... But no image on screen...
Complete disaster it is a new tablet, never used and bricked...
I found that after firmware flash using adb shell I get root mode but not for long(for about 2 min., later tablet getting disconnected by it self) and after reboot no more root mode... Need reflash again...
In root mode I succeeded to get some logs(adb dmesg) and data about the tablet. (see .txt file attached)
Can anyone help me in such situation? I can donate some money if succeeded...
P.S: To make sure that it is rk3188 device I opened tablet and checked the chip on board...

I have a firmware for a tablet like yours (i dont know if its a Revolution clone - Memup Elite 9716). Maybe you will be able to try the firmware at least.
I can't upload it now, but I'll probably tomorrow.

Dull ! I forgot about this post I made ... Sorry
My tablet is a Memup brand:
http://www.cdiscount.com/informatiq...9716-quad-core/f-10798010212-spelite9716.html
I flashed a "OMA" ROM on it (4.4.2 I think), and I have the original rom at home and I guess I can (slowly!) upload it on a server.
Is it the same as yours ? - no money needed, lol . But if I can help you recover this tablet it would be great.
Maybe you could try this ROM, the one I flashed:
https://www.dealabs.com/url/?e=AGfyxEyWcavcqyVJeRhZp7d5F8Z0KrLcgoS1mbga6vPZ1aLCP38R53nhHk/SlqhM
A procedure is included in English, in this file. I followed those and it's working.
I think that your tablet isn't bricked, as it's detected by your computer.
Some steps requires bootloader mode : https://download.chinavasion.com/download/Others/ceros_rev_firmware_install_9470.pdf

Hello,
Thank you very much for sharing the file. The links seem to be dead, as in they're no longer uploaded/accessible from the URL you have provided. Do you think you could share the file again? I apologise for any inconvenience.
Or could anyone share the stock ROM from the P791 tablet from ASDA?
Thank you and kind regards.

i havent got the file anymore - i originally got it from the settings in the tablet,
settings - about tablets - system updates
it just downloaded the file via browser to downloads folder as i recall, and you copy it out before it detects the update file is there.
it downloads from ftp://mypolaroidtablet.com but i cant access that from my laptop without a username and password
i dont recall it asking when accessing from the tablet, which i cant do as its been dropped a couple of times and now the screen is cracked and the wifi doesnt work
regards

http://southerntelecom.com/polaroidsupport/updates.html - some update files but doesnt seem to list this one, unless you find one that is compatible

Hey there, I just got one of these p791 Polaroid tablets for Christmas this year.
When I try to do the usual update method (Settings > About tablet > System update) it locks up and I have to force it to stop. So no auto-updates for me.
Currently stuck on KK 4.4.2
Is there anyone or anyway to get this ROM so I can manually install it, or anyone who's had this problem and fixed it so I can just update my tablet.

Hopefully you already got it sorted.. However, if not then you may want to know the tools usually used to fix this device are:
RKBatchTool,
AndroidTool,
Or PhoenixSuit (although I've not managed to get this one to work)
You can do a quick Google search on any of the tools mentioned above as well as find information on the installation process including the flashing of the P791 device.
I wasn't able to get mine turned on again but you may be able to. (Years ago I used these tools and got it working again, but can't seem to do it this time, maybe mines just had it. I think these are the only options for us though and I remember the annoying task of trying to figure it out as the specific device you're talking about, the one from Asda isn't hardly mentioned nor is it even supported by manufactures anymore so now I have an account on here I thought I'd just post this reply ?

Since writing my reply to your OP I decided to give it another go and was successful.
I used AndroidTools to complete the process of flashing the stock update.img via the "Firmware" tab. If you need any help doing it feel free to reply to this post!
