Yes it is that important to me and I think a lot of other people coming over from Captivates that had it. I work in a noisy environment (construction sites) and don't always here or feel notifications and don't want to power up the screen to check if I've missed something important. My wife is still on her Captivate and I don't think she'll upgrade without it since she often leaves her phone in another room and just like to be able to look at it walking by to see if she's missed something.
Of course I think we all / most of us understand devs should work on what they want but if a bounty helps give them a reason to work on something I would think that is only a good thing for everyone.

i think you just said it right there. Just power up your screen to see if you missed anything. I know you dont want to do that but you dont have an option at this point in time. Until someone releases this feature, powering on your phone only takes an extra 2 seconds to do.
There's no need for an argument or debate on this thread. I am in the military and BLN comes in handy to me in many situations, so I am willing to offer a bounty. If you are not, please just understand that some people find it very handy. Thank you.
BLN works a treat with the new Siyah kernel! I am excited to see this added, as I got used to it while on ICScrewd. This is awesome!!

Thanks to untermensch. This is a port of his original mod for the Vibrant.
I updated the reboot options to work with DJ05. The first attachment is just the reboot mod. The second attachment includes both the reboot and accurate battery mods.
These will only work if you have DJ05 installed (you would know if you did).
Hahaha, I love how we have mods for DJ on XDA before the actual update. Just a Tad messed up.

Oh don't get me wrong, I understand why it hasn't been released yet. I just think it's a little messed to post all these themes and mods for something a lot of people don't have. It's like, "Here, have this spoon. It's made to go perfectly with Cap'n Crunch. Oh you don't have any CC? Damn, that sucks bro."

It's less than ideal. However, anyone who wants DJ05 can get it. They just have to go elsewhere to get it.

LOL. I feel like the heavy hint dropping on this forum pretty much guarantees that anyone who wants 05 can get it, but by making it slightly more difficult than clicking a link it takes out the stupidest 30%. By making those who want it go to the best place to get help, that further slims down the number of "I don't know what I did nor what I was doing, but my phone doesn't work right anymore and I can't be bothered to search for a fix" threads. The only other way I can think of to do the same thing would be to require people to use adb to install the update, so at least they learn some basic tool use in the process.
That being said, I'm still on 01 and have no intention of upgrading until I see a theme/ROM combo that I fall in love with.

Make a file labeled "enable_glass_lock" and place in data/local. Puzzle lock will available immediately thereafter.

Well basically, this girl I like, and me have the same phone, the Atrix 4G. Now I wanted to ask her to a dance, and wanna make an app for that, Something creative and original, like say plays a youtube video of me asking her to the dance, then opens up a prompt which says yes and no, if she selects yes, her phone calls/texts me the answer, what is your opinion on this? This MIUI in the general section works great with WiFi and no screen issues. It is affected by the mic issues just like the CM7 rom. Maybe you could use it to fix WiFi?

The thing is we feel you are the who likes to attack and are rude in your comments. Like I tried to say in a earlier post to you, but you will never understand it. hi all. i just installed REVOLT (liking it so far) .....now im looking at the pie control, which ive never used, and i was wondering if anyone here has completely disabled the hardware keys, specifically on our phone model, to just make use of the pie control. how can i disable hardware keys and revert back if needed. thanks in advance.

i used to run like that all the time, i have a mod in the app/theme section you can flash to disable cap buttons and use pie as your main control, or navbar if thats your thing.

thank you. ill check it out. just want to see which is better, without the cap buttons or with.
Using latetest REVOLT.... Which is pretty dope.... Only thing I notice and want to know if others are having this issue.... Any app that tries to access the camera just freezes such as instagram!! Is this common with everyone?

Just make a back up and flash somw kernels ... I think 4aces 4/21 build works...but domt quote me ...

Amazing rom as always, Its been running really nice so far. I just have one question and its probably a noob one :silly: , is there a way to change the lock screen wallpaper? I can't find it. Opps forgot the rom: Revolt

aint no chance the old kernel will work on newer roms
must be april 24+
This isn't for any of Jamie's particular roms OR even our specific device, but I'd like to know how to read change logs on github (I think this is something I should know and I think I'm googling the wrong how-to question).
Just go into whatever device, then switch over to the commits tab? So for this device link below, there was only one merge done for May 14?

Yip that's all you have to do, sometimes its on the wrong branch so you have to change it but you have the right idea
