Since I installed an ICS rom my bluetooth stop working with my car. I can pair it, but I can not connect it.
With my old ROM 3.3.5 (I think..) there were no problem, since it was paired it connected automaticly every time I entered the car.
I already tried many ICS rom's of this site without sucess...
Can anyone help me with this issue?
Thanks.

[Q] Wipe question

Ok, I'm rooted my Eris, and I've installed a few different roms over the last 14 months, with success each time, but with each new rom I end up having to reconnect my phone to my car's bluetooth. Is there something I should or shouldn't be doing to keep the bluetooth connected following a rom install.
I know, pairing my phone and my car isn't that tough of a job, but I would like to not have to take this step everytime I install a new rom.
Thanks!
FYI... I was able to use Titanium Backup, and my Bluetooth worked fine after flashing a new rom.

[Q] Bluetooth Problem with o2 latest firmware KI4

Just updated my o2 i9100 via Kies to latest firmware PDA:KJ1 /PHONE:KI4 /CSC:KJ1 (O2U)
Everything seemed to go ok and phone rebooted
Now when I switch on Bluetooth a message apears telling me there are open available bluetooth devices and then crashes.
Screen goes blank - quick flash of o2 Startup "water" and startup screen then media scanning complete and keeps looping until I can catch it by turning off bluetooth. Then its stable!!!
Newbe needs help please
BTW all was working fine before update
I have the same issue, also noticed that in 'Running Services' there are 2 copies of BLUETOOTH SHARE running, one showing 28.00KB, the other 0.00B, otherwise all other functions running ok.
Does everyone with the latest O2 firmware have this problem? I'd be grateful if anyone else could say if Bluetooth is broken for them too.
Thanks.
Updated yesterday (KJ1) no problems, switch on bluetooth, notification comes up showing available devices.
Downgraded and then let Kies try again.
This time all working!
Not sure what went wrong the first time as both times got exactly the same messages and success at the end.
How did you downgrade ?

I used factory reset.
remember to backup data first
Factory reset resolved Bluetooth issues, thanks
I've been having this problem despite several full wipes. This is happening on the leaked XXLPB (ICS firmware) as well so it doesn't seem to be a software related.
When I enter commands such as *#232337# (Bluetooth Address) or *#232331# (Bluetooth Test Mode), I can't find Bluetooth details (such as Bluetooth MAC address etc.). I'm wondering if I should send the phone for repair.
Would like to hear if this is a known problem and there is a possible fix other than a full wipe.

[Q] Shouyue Hero v6888 bluetooth issue

Hello everyone.
I own a Shouyue Hero v6888 mk2(without the logo on the back) .It come the chinese rom ,so i immediately removed everything and i installed " Official Shouyue Hero v6888 (mt6577) Stock European ROM 13052016" which i found here in XDA-developers forum.Currently , after a few flashes and trials i did a full format on nvram etc, repaired the imei and everything works just fine(GPS,camera, radio) except from the BlueTooth .
What happens with it is that i can see devices like my OBD2 BT adapter ,i can connect with them and and after a while the connection breaks up .This can happen only one time .After that i cannot reconnect without turning off and then on the phone. The problem existed since the very first time i flashed the european ROM.
I want to mention that i've tried with my wifi off,gps off etc to check if there is some software/hardware interference but without any success(this was something i read in discussion). Also the ODB adapter works just fine since i don't have issues with my tablet(Hyundai T7 4.2.2) .Last thing is that I don't have a BT headset to see what happens with it.
Does anyone have similar issues or any solution to propose?
Thank you for your time.
:good:

[Q] Wifi problem with JB

I just purchased this device using swappa, I actually received the device as of today...I do not have a sim card in it, yes it's rooted...Im currently using a stock JB rom 4.0.4 (have no idea which one)...Here's my problem, it's not connecting to any open SSIDs, I have tried atleast 3 or 4 different ones around my town. Its not connecting, just continues to say saved...I have no tried connecting to any secured SSIDs yet because I dont have wifi at my house. I dont think it's a problem of not having a sim card...Im new to this device and this is the first time Ive ran across this problem. Its not my first android phone, Ive been around for a while...Just trying to get some experienced help from some other users with the same phone. It might also help to tell you that I have shut the phone down and restarted. That did nothing....So has anyone had any kind of problems connecting to any open SSIDs using a stock JB 4.0.4 rom ?

4.0.4 is ICS not jb. You can try flashing the appropriate radio. Since you dont know the history of the device LGNPST is a option, so that you have a fresh start with partitions updated and a working recovery. Here is the link for LGNPST http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230994
And here are the radios http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2270319
If it's on 4.0.4, that's ICS, and if its rooted, it's possible that the JB radio was installed, which could be a problem, because WiFi only works on ICS with the ICS radio, the JB Radio breaks wifi on ICS; also, teh ICS radio breaks wifi on JB.
I'd recommend either flashing a more up-to-date rom, or flash the ICS radio.
Problem was fixed with up to date rom
