Best looking android apps? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've started looking around for really nice looking apps. Ultralinx has shown me some and http://androidniceties.tumblr.com/ has too. What are some other apps you guys know about that look really good?

I have market application on my android Phone...........With the help of this I am able to get all my favorite games on mobile.......I have download so many games Like Angry Bird Or bubble Trouble...I like the game angry Bird so much...........I have cleared all the rounds of this game and This is really an adventure game for me...................I really enjoying playing this game so much..........

Kind of a silly question - everyone has their own tastes. And do you want said apps to do? You just gonna get the to look at em?

The dead: Chapter one is a good looking, high quality, android game. It's still in the development stages but it looks promising.

I like them to be good looking and useful at the same time. Most people are also going on about how awesome iPhone apps look, so I want to prove them wrong

Thanks for the recommendation!

Not an app, but I'm a fan of HD Widgets as a clock/weather widget. Looks good on phones and tablets.

I really like Any.DO

We need more Unity games, they sure do look perdy.

AirDroid as many have said.
Glass Widgets
I like the look of SoundHound. Plus it is extremely useful.
IMDB's app is great
and that's all ive got. There are a few apps that are dependant on the user to look good. Like minimalistic text and Widget Locker, for example.

Fancy widgets
this is the best clock and whether widget, with a lot of skins.

Fancy widgets
Functionality, in my opinion is more important than looks but its a plus havn premium looking UI to match the func.
Fancy widgets looks Gr8

So... any of you guys tried this? I haven't been running it today, no need at this point with MikShift, but if/when I go back to AOSP-based roms, it will definitely be my launcher of choice, especially if they continue to develop and include matching widgets for each Launcher interface.
Thought I'd put the word out, it's quite a nifty home replacement. Find it on XDA or Market.

I kinda like launcher7..ish..in the android hacking section there's an entire post dedicated to it and images and all..really cool stuff

I was trying out "MYLAUNCHER" that's free in the market. I gotta say, it's not that bad. Still in beta though and in the early stages so not much in the settings menu...
Back to ADW for me for the time being...
Yeah, seemed really boring. Just different docks, right? I think that's supposed to be part of the appeal but it wasn't for me.

Have you tried the sony xperia launcher? Just installed it pretty cool...wanna find widgets for it

If they do decide to include widgets to match the different docks, (sense, blur, touchwiz styled) then it'll be amazing.

Just tried it. Not too bad. I hate horizontal scrolling app drawers but I like the sort options and being able to reorder the apps. The animated trash can opening up eager for my junk was cool too.

Yes, it would. But, since its open source anyone can build and modify it to release with their roms.
If someone wantexd to do that and include widgets, I don't see the harm.

BeWeather for Android

This is a beautiful weather app for Android just released! Probably has some of the best graphics of any weather app.
Check it out in the market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bellshare.beweather

First mistake they made was charging the same price as Beautiful Widgets for a weather app.

Looks a lot like Go Weather... which is free.
However, I like my beautiful widgets right now
I'd rather use Go Weather, which is free
I tried Goweather. It was ok but doesn't have near the function of BeWeather.

I appreciate your desire to pimp a product you're either the creator of, or a beta tester for, but given the sheer quantity of quality weather apps on the market, how do you/they justify charging $3.41 for their product? Beautiful Widgets is far more customizable and costs less, not to mention the plethora of other weather apps that are free and of a very high quality.

Lol, pimping? I don't think so and I wish I was the dev.
I've tried every weather app for android and this one has some of the best function.
Beautiful Widgets is exactly what it says. It should be customizable because their focus is the look. BeWeather is an actual weather app more like Palmary but with some other features.
There's no doubt they all have their positives and negatives. I was just posting it here in the apps section of the vibrant forum just like any other app.
Got a problem with that?

New launcher!!

ok, if your like me then your looking to replace the stock launcher on a daily basis but have yet to do so because they all run with a degree of lag. (except tw)
Well good news!
There is another launcher i found to work very well with the galaxy note and it is called "aShell" - It's based off of ADW
It has a lot of similar features....... heck.... it looks strikingly similar.... almost a clone! I found it to use less memory and it is almost lag-free (i have widgets all over the place on 6 homescreens, btw). Plus it has quite a few features that ADW doesn't have ...... oh, and use the "scatter" transition - it's pretty neat.
Anyway, give the dam thing a try!
************EDIT********
Go Launcher 2.81 is available on the market. I suggest everyone try it. I am running the V6 Supercharger 1000hp setting with Go and it's the best so far... runs almost perfect on my note... with 6 homescreens full of widgets. GIVE it a.... GO
And if it works for you, hit the "THanK" button
******UPDATE******
GUYS, if you have CLOCKWORKMOD try my theme out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1527002

thanks for this....always like trying new launchers....just installed and wallpaper scrolling works on this one.
will test this for a few days.....I am a hardcore ADWEx user.
yeah, i'm sure a lot of us will be please with it. i came from go.... using adw till they optimize but then i found this lol... my only discrepancy is the app drawer. but i can live with it for now.
will def try this out......
Edit: i still noticed lag in the app drawer.
adw ex didnt have that. im using go launcher right now, just switched from Spb shell. and will give this one a full test for a couple days and see if i can get ti run smoothly for me.
thanks for posting it up, im always looking for new launchers.
likewise... the launcher is the alpha-omega of the android experience in my opinion.
I've posted feedback to the developer with regards to the app drawer - I believe the launcher is still in the alpha stages, but it has a lot of potential.
I like the different features like the dock icons... if you drag each one of them up they pull up something different... like the phone pulls up the photo contacts and such.. These guys are definitely thinking differently.
yeah, some cool features.....
does it support vertical app drawer scrolling? I didn't see it. But I am at work so I am looking quickly and trying to be productive.

I thought android apps came with a 15 minute return policy? You could always try it and request for a refund.
Although, I don't see this particular launcher in my market, I can see it on market.android.com but not on my phone.
I think nemus is smoother and the dock can scroll to allow more apps in the dock and the app drawer will loop screens

Trials are pointless because you can download the cracked app or crack the app and install it (like SPB Crack) for free.
I have done this with apps like widget locker, but when i found myself using them all the time i purchased it. That's my way of weeding out the bull$hit... "create-a-trial" lol

This launcher was first released mid-december 2011 - it's still developing.
I haven't tried nemus.... (might install and give it a go)
didn't like nemus....I am a launcher whore and I usually try them out as soon as I see them.
I'm not paying 17 bucks for something I can only test drive for less than 30 minutes. How the h*ll are you suppose to evaluate it in 15 minutes? Maybe if you are hopped up on speed, redbull or something, but most people can't evaluate it
in 15 minutes.
I don't go for cracked software, but I might just to see how it works for a day or two. If I like it, I'll buy it, but most likely it will end up being removed and forgotten.

Old Launcher(but new updates) "Sweeter Home 2"* new pics

http://www.sweeterhome.com/
I've been messing around with this on my phone and really like it. I just downloaded it on my Prime and although I haven't set it up yet it seems to work fine. The launcher is kind of like Hubs on steroids lol. Its got some really cool features and although it's definitely not the most lightweight I think it makes up for it in customization. It's also ridiculously smooth once you mess with the settings(raising the bitmap limit did it for me).
Also: I am not a developer of this app and I am in no way affiliated with this app or its developers. I am only sharing this app so others can try it.
***New style. I decided to go with everything on 1 screen.
Also I got tired of attaching pics(uploading from prime isn't working) so instead im trying a dropbox link. Hopefully it works and lets you view them not download them, otherwise ill upload them soon.

Great on phones but useless on the prime as all the themes are in portrait mode and look horrible in landscape has a lot of potential to be good though!
That crappy launcher has been around forever and it sucks. Why the hell are you saying its new?

I said new because I hadn't seen it before and it wasn't on this forum anywhere that I could see. Also this app has recently been getting a lot more updates and features as well as bug fixes. Idk why you felt the need to make your comment, but theres my answer.

I agree about that if you just use the themes w/o modifing theme, but since its all customizable I think you can make it look pretty nice even in landscape. I figure if people want to take the time to make a HUBS layout then they'll be able to take the time to set up another type of layout if it looks nice too.

No grid alignment for icons they stay where you put them, Lasso tool for arranging icons ala Bumptop Style. Loads of sweet screen transisitons like roller-Icons that is just soooo slick. The special animated widgets that add a bit of style to your screen.
To me it's more than just a launcher its a full desktop replacement with it's own language for interacting with your device.
I like to think of it as how Windows 8 would of turned out if Microsoft had been using it's brain!
Tell me, where is notification bar? I cant see it anywhere

Absolutely no offence against TSF (as it REALLY is a nice programmed launcher and I deeply respect such works!!), but what you just summed up was my experience as well...being just "cosmetic" stuff without any added value compared to my nova launcher. Some might love such stuff, for me it is just way too expensive for just having "roller-Icons" or "special animated widgets".
Not my stuff at all
i really like the animation and feature, but 1 only issue.. i can't find the option to change height and width margin on the apps drawer? all i can find is only changing the rows and column.. it looks messy from what i saw.. any solution guys?
