Is there any way to get a GOOD working PSX ( Playstation One ) Emulator to work on a tablet,
I know the 3.2 update had the resulotion fix for bigger screens but it is ugly and most games are not playable,
Are there any specified Psx emulators for tablets?. or a better working one.

+1 to that. Even on my old motorola milestone 2, most games ran flawlessly. Pretty sure this bad boy tegra 2 chip would smash it

Both sides are playable soviet and allies its harder to play with the ps controls then pc though it moves slower then the mice pointer ofcourse just give it a try its worth it really

N64oid worked well, a few lighting problems and slowdown here and there, but other than that perfectly playable. Tried it out with Banjo Kazooie and Mario Kart 64

Probably yeah, EU games ran at 50fps, which was pretty crappy since Tekken was 1/5 slower, which really affected gameplay.

so u too play tekken 3, i m mad for tekken. i m playing it for past 6 years n still i play it 2 to 3 times a day with my bro. its a great news that it will work on my future s2.

Just played Galaxy on Fire 2 on my Galaxy Tab which as no Tegra2. The lack of a Tegra2 chip was putting me off getting an Xperia Play, but may get one now.
People have been using chainfire for some time, to.play tegra and powervr based games

i can confirm a handfull of THD games work on the play using chainfire, alot still dont work though or crash on loading, most powervr games work well aswell
I played samarua vengeance 2 with chainfire when it was tegra 2 exclusive. I hate this competition between these companies... Why make anything exclusive

I agree. Although if we wait long enough some of the Tegra exclusive games get ported over like Samurai II was.

That being said I couldn't run riptide properly. But there are reports of the galaxy on fire game working properly. There's enough games to keep you busy without playing tegra games though.

So N64oid 2.0 (and subsequent editions) has come out and I'm wondering what everyone's experience has been playing it on their 3VOs.
So far I've only played Zelda and it's been pretty great over all. It crashes every few minutes so I have to back up often, and the sound gets a little glitchy so far. I've found that OC to 1.8 GHz and setting frame skip to about 7 or 8 seems optimal
Any other positive experiences with n64oid or other emulator apps?

Same...thats why i want root so people can test chainfire 3d.
Well, evo3d ownder tell us with n64 games you play, if they have glitches and how much fps you play them ingame
It's good but I can't wait until Bomberman 64 works.
Since the Evo 3D supports the bluetooth HID profile, then the Phonejoy will work - heres my demo with the HTC Sensation (forward to 3:30):

Has anybody had any luck with wiimotes or ps3 controllers?
Wiimotes and PS3 controllers will not work, that hasn't (yet) changed.
I played The Ocarina of Time, overall is good. Sounds skips here and there but so far is solid. I've been playing Starfox 64 though, controls are a bit hard but just takes some time to get used to.
So with all the new ROMs popping up, is anyone aware of a Dev that is working on replacing the bluetooth stack to something that will support using the wiimote or is that even possible until we get CM or something similar?

If our phones are So damn powerful, why is every freakin RPG I play are 8 bit graphics? I'm starting to get fed up because everyone is using the exact same sprite designs. >_<
Dungeon Hunter 2 is pretty good, also. It's basically an old school Dungeon Crawler RPG.
Try FPSE and play some PS1 RPGs. Also, Hyberdevbox has a really good strategy RPG called Spectral Souls which has nice graphics. It's pricey but a massive game.

Hahaha. You're welcome. Also, not sure if you tried them or not, I know they aren't big fancy graphics. But the RPGs by Kemco are usually pretty well done. I've played through a couple of them.
Yeah, ran through all of them. That's what was upsetting me. They've been evolving with each release, to me, it started to feel like the same crap over and over. Then I find another game from a different company, and instead of seeing what they had different, I kept finding myself acknowledging the same concepts and designs as all the other ones.
No breath of fresh air yet. That's why I'm all over everyone's suggestions here.
It's funny though. I find myself on my phone playing games more then I do with my Xbox and PS3. But my wife doesn't mind, since she's basically took them over.
try earth and legend.its by far the best RPG with best looking graphics.my Xperia X10 couldnt open it and My Xperia Arc struggled doing so

Try Eternal Legacy from gameloft. That's a great 1. 3D graphics and they have a version for the E3D for stereoscopic 3D game play.

Great thread! I've tried to get into android RPG's but...I need some suggestions.
I played and beat Gurk, which I really liked. I prefer turn based like games like the OG final fantasy and Dragon Warrior for the NES. I played Battleheart which has great graphics but I didn't like the play style.
Is Gurk II worth the buck?

I installed it but it uses the original source files so if you don't actually own the game this won't work. Unfortunatly I let my brother borrow my disks and he still has them. I'll see him over Christmas so I'll report back on how this works for anyone who owns Warcraft 2 (sorry, didn't mention this was only for the old game Warcraft 2 in my original post)

Works for me, too. DOOM and Duke Nukem 3D play pretty darn well. I keep meaning to experiment with some Windows 3.1 games...
