Hello all, I just installed UrukDroid 1.6 but upon launching I have no Google Market or Applib, do I need to install additional packages or...?
Noone who's had this problem?
You should have read the wiki of UrukDroid. (http colon slash slash code.google.com/p/urukdroid/wiki/Installation#Step_two:_optional - sorry for not posting a link, but XDA won't let me) Use ArcTools on AppLib to install Market.
I have no applib nor Market... so how would I use Applib to install ArcTools?

Was that to hard to find?

was just wondering if theres anyway to install android market on the latest firmware on my folio , ( 2.2.5.0131 ) , was to eager and updated it before i read about foliomod on the forum and now im stuck with no recover due to the update , tried "adb install" some 2.2.6 , 2.2.7 and 2.3.6 market apk's i found but they all force close on me , so anyone know how i can get a working android market ?
Cheers ,
You can't install it because original firmware havn't google support and market is google app.
Go to first post of FolioMod thread and find "...who update go here..." and go there for recovery fix.
tried this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=961826 ,but it didnt work ,

I made it once but needs to patch the mac address syntax in one apk... not trivial.

Hi, ever since upgrading the ROM to 2.3.4 one of my most used apps (MMTracker) is no longer available in the market. Everything was fine in 2.3.3 and I have restored it successfully from Ti backup, however it is now several versions old and I would like to update it.
If I log into the market on the PC I can see the app, and it says that it is not compatible with my device. The developer says that it is up to Google to change its compatability, and that there is nothing he can do.
A) How dose this system work? does google test every single app on every single phone running every single version of android? I very much doubt it.
B) More importantly is there any way to fool the market into letting me download it?
Thanks for any ideas.
Tom
No ideas?
Is it possible to fool the android market into thinking the device is running 2.3.3, or even persuade it that the devide is a different one altogether? for example by editing build.prop?
Just a gentle bump, I cant believe there isn't a solution to this problem...

Thanks for the reply but I looked into Market enabler and to quote the application description
'Market-Enabler is an application to fake the phone's location and access markets from other countries'
The problem is not with the location of the phone, the app in question is available in my location it is just that the 'upgrade' ffom 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 has removed it from the market.
Cheers
Tom
Hi everyone,
I am on Revolution Rom from Leomar. Everything is great but i have one problem.
Coming from CM7 or Stock, i have no issue installing Astro File Mgr Pro from the Market.
On Leomar Rom, the Market tell me it is not compatible with my device. Same things happen with anothers apps.
I cannot explain why it is compatible with CM7 or Stock and why it doesn't work on Leomar. May be it is a known issue and i didn't find it on the xda forum.
I cannot post in the Leomar Thread because this is my first post.
If Leomar see my thread, i just want to thanks him and his team for the great jobs !
I am not thighted to Astro bu i want to understand
Best regards !

It does not work. On the smartphone i cannot find the app because it is not compatible.
Does Leomar's ROM come with Astro File Manager already installed? If so, you may need to remove it before you can install the Pro version.

No it doesn't. I manage to install the astro app but not the pro key. The pro key seems to be not compatible with gsII on this rom.
I do not understand why. Do i have to check with leomar or astro dev ?
Finally Leomar told me that is CSC related, and he is hardly working on. I will read further info on his thread.

Hi. I don't know if this will work, but you can try BlackMart (just google and download) or Market Helper (google it too), that "transform" your mobile in other device. Maybe it works. I've tried a time ago on my Galaxy Y and worked fine
