Email About Qualcomm Cameras - HTC EVO 3D

http://db.tt/5fHItJGy
Sent an email to Qualcomm about the camera sources for our phone(and other MSM8660) for the lols. Did not expect a reply. Received this. While it is not promising at all, at least the know it is currently a problem for us. We should try emailing them to pressure them into trying to make it open source. I sent the email via the form on the developer section at the Qualcomm website.

They'll never open source it.

[Q] Screenshot on webtop

How exactly do you take a screenshot on the atrix weptop? I'm digging but can't seem to find anything anywhere but I see screenshots all over.
As far as I know, you have to install a modded webtop in order to be able to install a screenshot app.
I use Xfce4 Screenshooter on my setup.

When will the ICS kernel source from HTC arrive?!

The title says it all. Anyone have any information or knowledge about when this kernel source will be made official?!

Downloading Movies from the PlayStore

When I purchase a movie, does a complete file download to my phone? Or, is it something that I can stream from my account only?
I would like to place it on my computer as well.

You can stream it or, if you tap on the pin icon, it will download to your device.

Thank you, Bill. Do you know if I'd be able to transfer to my computer?
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
I haven't tried that, but I'm guessing that due to the security Google uses that it won't work. Try it and post the results here so others will know.

Will do.

Superuser showing in the Settings list

Is there a way to have the superuser name included on the Settings list? Was thinking of doing the same thing on a stock rom or custom rom for ICS or Jb. TIA

Is there any guide or at least a rough tutorual to do it just to get an idea of the procedure?
Sent from my Titan TV S320 using xda premium
No there isn't. You would have to look at CM source code for the changes. There will be a ton and not sure it can be done properly with the closed sourced TW roms

Thanls will try and read and research. Thanks again
