I feel same thing with the graphics, I have noticed when ever thr is a fast or sudden graphical change, like a blast or some thing it freezes.
any suggestions ??? is thr any rom or somthin else to run games smoother on my X10i....
How about OC-Overclock ur phone...

I dont have that issue when playing games, but yeah i experienced that problem before when i just bought my phone, which it running original stock firmware. Now im on eye candy rom and i dont have those issues anymore. I played all 3d gameloft games with no problems.
Just kill all running app on the background. Wifi/3g off, below 40% brightness, not using too many widgets on the homescreen and i believe the problem will solve. Its not going to heat anymore, but just warm.

I'm so tired...Since some months I'm looking for a rom with a good battery life and smooth, even in little games like fruit ninja or angry birds...But I havent' found nothing.
I had found some roms like perfectpeso, oxygen, dynamite rom, cyanogenmod, but due to something, I have always uninstalled them and flashed another rom and so on. Now I'm really tired of this, I want a rom which can satisfies me. So far I've tried:
-Perfectpeso: bad battery and some lags
-Oxygen: camera and microphone suck
-Dynamite: the last I've tried, it's a rom still young, so still buggy
-Cyanogenmod: too slow, I cannot even play fruit ninja smoothly
So what do I have to do? What do I have to flash to have good results?
I know ur feeling.....ive done the same......but i got the thing that stock rom is the most stable rom for ur phone.....and if u want to increase its performance......just change the kernel not the rom.......

i will suggest u one of those bytecode rom omgb or omfgb...they can be ur permanent rom
Thanks to both you! Now I try to use stock rom (modded a bit) and when bytecode's rom will be bugless, I will try one of them
Thanks for the suggestion
I found Cyaongenmod with a custom Vsync of kernel to be the best Rom, as the battery lasts as long as Froyo used to run (LG gingerbread is what convinced me to Root, with its HORRIBLE battery life compared to froyo).
Cyanogenmod I find is preety battery efficient and smooth with the DJNoXD kernel (Vsync off), and I changed max_events in Build.prop to 160 and its very smooth scrolling now, and I find this tweak only works with Vsync of, as max_events is max frame rates for UI, and will always be limited to 60 frames with vsync on, as kernel > build.prop

I've used cyanogenmod rc with roq kernel for about 3 weeks and battery wasn't so good as I had thought so I' ve uninstalled it
Belive me, stock rom is the best option. But not with default kernel. I have tried every rom for months and i realize that stock is the way to go. Maybe i will change to ics when all bugs wil be fixed if there will be a stable ics rom in the feature.
it´s sad...
but stock rom ist the best but it´s really NOT good...
all roms i tried have bugs... if you want a good phone with no (or almost no) bugs buy a google nexus or an iphone or a windows-phone
Same for me, but I'm waiting OMFBG last chance for me before I'm buy another smartphone sucks xperia neo v

Man, have some faith. If you're not deving you can't complain about having a buggy phone guys.
Plus, if you looked through this here section, you'll find plenty of mods to make your phone faster.
Google TurboBoostv8.5 if you want a real speed increase for any 2.3.x rom. Also, overclock to a stable 480/729 or 480/748. Which I can almost gauruntee none of you are doing. You modded your phone, so look at tutorials, figure things out yourselves, it's a fun process Push your phone as far as it'll go.

How is the gaming performance on aops and akop roms for ea and gameloft games( heavy 3d ones). Do they lag and stutter, low fps? How is it compared to stock/ samsung based roms?
they run at a good fps rate..so far i ve played dead space,ME infiltrator,Asphalt 7,mordern warfare 3...and the list goes on..
The update check on startup is the oly thing that makes me to uninstall the games cuz i don't want ppl sayin my SGS2 is slow

I have heard some bad things about 3d gamn performance of aosp/akop roms..which prevents me from tryin them out..

The problem:
This problem is simply with the developer of the game and not the Roms. They supposed to have release a genuine update to their apk(s) to fix this issues.
Many people are facing this same problem, but only on AOSP based Roms.
Possible solution:
Before opening any of those troublesome games, ensure both your mobile data and Wi-Fi connection are DISABLED.
Peace.

Swyped from my Samsung Galaxy SII
As in topic i checked many, many 4.1.2 roms and even leaked 4.2.2 still i have lags in any 3d game.
Tried Perseus kernel as well as Siyah and more others.
In every combination this phone has massive lags on 3d games. 2d games run just perfect.
Tried every solution possible to free up ram and increase performance but nothing works.
Even stock roms lag on my international gt-i9300
Please XDA Community! Help me.
-------EDIT-------
As i checked 3d benchmarks i see there is massive lag in repetetive form.
Something like this:
1sec 50 fps
2-3sec 20fps
and back to 1sec 50fps
Checked in Quadrant,Antutu,3dmark
What games?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Asphalt 7, Shadowgun, Gangstar (all of them), Nova, All gameloft other games.
And even something like Beach Buggy Blitz (almost no quaility graphics)
The lag seems to occur more frequently when i turn through streets in example gangstar, when device loads up textures or stuff...
Did you every try games immediately after fresh flash?
For example, wipe, flash rom, set up wizard, install game, play game?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Just before writing this post i have flashed 4.1.2 rom and siyah kernel. Full wipe and everything. Even in system options i downed running applications to 1 and lagg is still visible as before.
Now i noticed every 10 seconds there is massive lag that drops down to something like 5fps fo 3 sec
------edit-------
even my gt-i9000 works better in these games
That's pretty drastic. I'm not much of a gamer but I have some of the games you mentioned and never had this problem. I'm not sure what the solution is.
What other kernels have you tried? Perseus and siyah both change GPU stepping.
Do you ever find lags or freezes outside of games?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
I have lags only in 3d games. 2d games work like charm. Only once have keyboard lag. Do you think its hardware issue?
I have tried many more kernels and cant remember them all now. But tried every kernel i saw in developement page.
For ROMS i was using PardusROM, Android revolution( both 4.1.2 and 4.2.2) and some other like paranoid android
Downloading now RevivaROMv1. I will tell you how it works in 40 mins
------edit-----
I thinks it's a kind of miracle. I did not flash this rom yesterday, but when i woke up, for last time i wanted to check and somewhat it all games run great with no lags. But there are still same lags in benchmarks. Dunno...
