Download FeaMod Recovery from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331164
This is the direct link to Version 1.2 for quicker access.
http://www.mediafire.com/?u9996yn6i7rc92z
Connect phone to your computer. Open the FeaMod file through the PDA section on Odin and then start the process.
After Odin installs it and you get a "PASS" you will have a custom recovery and you can follow the steps said above.

install rom
wipe cache partitions,
advanced/wipe dalvik cache
reboot system now.

use the steps detailed in the link above. IMHO it's the best rom to date for i9001 based on JB.
Let me know in a PM if you need any help understanding any of the steps.

3.wipe cache
4.advanced/wipe dalvik cache
5.mounts and storage
6.format system
7.format data
8.format cache
9.format preload
10.install rom
11.wipe data/factory reset
12.wipe cache
13.advanced.wipe dalvik cache
14.reboot system
after doing the above step , i can install the Neat ROM perfectly.
Skip 3,7,8,11 no need but the rest is standard

The reason that the ROM will not install on your device is because you are trying to flash a ROM in the stock Android recovery. To install a custom ROM you will need to install a custom recovery image such as Clockworkmod Recovery. For a full guide on how to root your device, and install a custom recovery image I would recommend checking out this guide. If have any more questions let me know I'll be happy to help you out.

Just to clarify have you now successfully rooted your device and installed Clockworkmod Recovery? If you haven't rooted your device and installed Clockworkmod Recovery yet the .tar file that you need to flash in Odin can be found here. Once you have rooted your device and installed Clockworkmod Recovery, the KingOS ROM will be a .zip file you do not need to extract anything from the .zip file simply follow the original flashing instructions you came across for the KingOS ROM. As always let me know if you still have questions.

For the US version I would recommend following this guide to root first, downloading on the rooted file system images .zip files, extracting the rooted system image .tar file and then flashing it through Odin. After you flash the rooted system image you will need to install a Superuser app such as SuperSU.

Make sure you install through Odin the kernel that includes Clockworkmod recovery that I linked to originally. The ROM will not flash without a custom recovery such as Clockworkmod recovery installed.

Did u perform factory reset after flashing stock rom in odin? Flash stock using odin and wipe user data from stock recovery. Then flash cwm using odin and then try to flash custom rom using cwm. Hope it will work.

Download your stock firmware from here.
Note- Download the firmwares only for YOUR country.

Flash the stock ROM through Odin.
Yeah, you'd have to lose all your data. So back up whatever's important.
Then re-flash CWM 6.0.4.5 via Odin.
I hope this shall solve the problem of flashing custom ROMs.

You need to update you CWM Recovery to v6.0.4.3 or higher OR also update your TWRP Recovery to v2.6.3.3 or higher. You can use either ROM Manager app or Goo Manager app from Play Store to update.
To install, reboot into recovery, make backup ROM, wipe data/factory reset, install ROM, install Gapps, and reboot. (If for some reason you end up in a bootloop, reboot into recovery, go to Advanced Wipe for TWRP or Mounts & Storage for CWM, format/wipe /system, then re-install ROM.)

[Q] Need Urgent Help - soft bricked galaxy note gtn7000

Hi All..
Im pretty much a noob..last week i decided to install cyanogenmod on my phone.Im using international version of Galaxy Note GTN7000.
I saw there was a windows installer on cm website..but wanted to make a backup of my current rom..
i rooted my phone using kingo android root..installed rom manager..flashed latest clockworkmod recovery..
but on booting into recovery,i found stock recovery was being forced..i read somewhere it was because of unlocked bootloader..
on cyanogenmod wiki page,i found installation of clockworkmod recov using heimdall..everything went fine ...blue progress bar was shown in the download mode...and when i rebooted into recovery mode i saw the first danger sign..there was a yellow triangle beneath galaxy note logo..
and then it booted into clockworkmod recovery 5.8..Foolishly i did a system backup..rebooted...surprised to find phone went into black screen after displaying a note logo with yellow triangle beneath..tried recovery from clockworkmod without hope but that didnt work as expected...
This is the situation..All i need now is to install cyanogenmod 10.1.3 stable on my device..i dont want a custom rom backup anymore..

At first flash a Samsung firmware through Odin: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
I recommend you not using Rom Manager. Have a look at PhilZ's thread for having a safe kernel and custom recovery to be able to backup and flash what you want.

Can i flash stock rom from sammobile

Download a firmware from SamMobile and flash it with Odin then you will be able to install PhilZ and your CM rom (or another one )

Yes you can but the most important thing on N7000 is to have a SAFE kernel before wiping or flashing from recovery. (more details in the N7100 sections)
Here are the general instructions to flash a new custom rom:
1. Having root and a working custom recovery (updated)
2. Boot into recovery mode (VOL DOWN + POWER + HOME) then VOL UP to accept the warning.
3. Make a Nandroid backup and backup your EFS.
4. Full wipe: wipe data (factory reset), cache, dalvik and system. Recoveries are different. You may need to go to another menu to format the system partition.
5. Flash rom
6. Flash Gapps
7. Reboot normally

factory reset from settings

hey all , i want some advice , i have latest CWM recovery , rooted , and i pressed facotry reset from settings , i want to reflash rom , how to transfer the .zip to my rom ? can i use this " http://android-revolution-hd.blogspot.com/2013/12/how-to-copy-rom-zip.html "
