Every time I dial on cm7, pressing the numbers makes sound as though it is on speaker phone (I verified it is using the media volume). It is quite loud and annoying when dialing. cm7 Stock dialer. When it is done dialing it is already in normal phone mode.
Any fix? Thanks in advance.

From your home screen, press the menu button and select Sound. Then remove the check mark from the Audible Touch Tones. That will silence all touch tones.
Ciao!
Perfect, thank you

Try changing your ringtone. I had selected "Digital Phone" ringtone and it would only ring once. I changed it to "Bell Phone" ringtone and now my phone rings like it should.
This issue comes and goes for me, not a biggie since I'm pleased just as much with a vibrate-only alert. My biggest concern is that even after the volfix, I still have unbearably low volume.
Hi all.
I noticed some weird "incoming call" volume behavior with my SGS2.
I set the volume to the highest. First 2 seconds when someone calls me, the ringer tone is very low, then it becomes very loud (to the setting I put it). I have a MP3 that has the same volume through out the whole song, but the first 2 seconds of the song are very low.
Does anyone know what this could be?
I'm running a unrooted KF3

It's the standard "increasing ringtone" behaviour. I know quite a few people don't like it (I do though) so there could well be a modified version floating about.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Premium App
It's called ascending ringtone and it is normal on the SGS2. You can flash a custom ROM that removes it or there might be a way to remove it on an unrooted phone.
Thank you guys for the quick and good response.
It's silly though to not have a option to turn this on/off in the "Sound" settings.
If anyone knows a way to turn this off without rooting or flashing a custom ROM, please let me know.
Can a mute button be placed between the Accept and Reject sliders? It should mute the incoming call ringer if double clicked.
Muting with the hardware volume rocker is a bit inconvenient at times.
If someone can create a mod for the stock then that would be great, rather than using any 3rd party app.
Does it fancy anyone else?
I use the Flip to mute feature in the settings and it works well.
Hope this Help

That always works well but is pain in the ass when you listen to music.

One touch on the power button? (stock rom)
the power button rejects the call, the volume down button mutes it.

On my "I9100UHKI1" stock rom, the power button dont rejects the call, he mutes the ringer and turn off the screen.
After this, i can press again to turn on the screen and accept the call.
This is the default config on my rom
To change: "Config->Acessibility->The power key ends calls"
Thank you for your responses. However still hoping for a solution that gets the button on the screen. Double click and the ringer is quiet.
My question is...
Is there anyway on a Sense based Rom to keep my "Ringtone Volume" Turned up, Without the Dialpad Sounds being Enabled?
When I have my phone Turned all the was down on Vibrate the Dialpad Volume Silences, But I Don't always want my phone on Vibrate, But Do always want Silence when I Dial numbers....
Anyway? Anyone? Thanxx!

I know that can be Turned Off but when I do that it effects Automated systems... Say I was to call somewhere that had one, from my experiences the Automated system wasn't able to recognize the numbers pressed...

so then you want them to vibrate when pressed? if yes in the same sounds menu go to vibrate feedback. rick the box. also to remove sound do as the person you quoted said. as for them not registering the numbers being pressed because its silent I havent had that problem so sorry I couldn't help that.
yup just go into settings and untic the dail pad sound and your set
I am on stock 4.4.2. D620r.
When I enable touch sounds in Sound Settings, Dial pad touch tones, and also from keyboard options, I cannot hear any sounds from the phone's speaker(for example when I press Home, Back ,Menu, or when I type something on the keyboard, or when I dial a number manually).
If I insert headphones, I can hear all those sounds...
Any idea? Thank you!
Settings/Sound/Volumes/Touch feedback and system, you just need to adjust the volume.
nlooooo, thank you very much. I don't know how I missed that in such a noobish way. Indeed, the touch feedback and system volume level was at minimum.
