anyone had any luck getting TSF Shell be seen in he market? i can side load it and works fine for a day or 2 then comes back and says no license found and im stuck with apex again. i have paid for tsf and just want to see if anyone has found a way to do it with out having to reinstall it every couple days.
thanks for the help peoples.
Probably best to wait until they update. The conversations that may ensue from your question could be borderline unacceptable on these forums.

the stock dpi that comes with ics 320, the intersting thing is when i go to the google play store from my pc, and it asks which device i want to load it to it shows me having a i777 instead of my i717 that could be part of it. but when i go to the google play store on my phone all it pulls up when i do a search are the themes and widgets for tsf shell never the actual launcher. i downloaded the APK and installed it and it ran for a day then it popped up and said licence could not be found and shot back to apex.
im just curious if anyone esle is running the legit version and " how you did it"
i cant be the only one trying to tsf shell on ICS<<<<<
and i can run it just fine for a day or 2, but then it pops up saying couldnt find license and boots me back to the apex one.
i Have Bought it, just so yall know im not trying get a free app. can anyone maybe tell me how if i get it on there can i manually get my license on there since i cant see it from the market, and i see it in app brain but when i click install it says "your device is not compatible with this version"
if just have to wait from them to update it to ICS then i will, i just thought there would be some sort of work around that was within reason.
This theme is probably incompatible with thecurrent version. in luncher tsf
??? help . how to ? fixxx theme not cocorectly run

Stock 16gb here.
I got it installed
I now have two market apps installed. It did not override the tablet market. Also, I don't have access to the movies section.
I tried it and uninstalled it within a minute or so. Obviously not optimized for tablets. will wait for official release.
Agree...looks good on the cell. Not so much on tablet. But it is working..
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA Premium App
yea I have a feeling this is the same apk for both the mobile and tablet because it works better on my TB than my GT 10.1
even then, it is alot slower compared to the previous market so idk if this is worth it just yet
Damn...i broke my market. I uninstalled the new one...old one seemed to work until i try to install an app or load my apps. Then i get a com.Google.android.finsky force close. Ideas anyone?
Edit: a data wipe and restart fixed the issue.
Sent from my GT-P7510 using Tapatalk
yes data are not the same so have to clear it before installing the new one or after uninstalling it.
finsky is FC for me
I screwed up my market by installing then uninstalling this and wiping market data in settings and a reboot didn't fix the issue.
Market runs but when I click on the "My Apps" in the upper right I get a FC.
Can anyone send me the market vending files I need to push to my Tab's system/app folder to help me fix?
(and yes I know I am an idiot by not doing a Titanium Backup of Market before installing the new one).

See post #7 - Should do the trick.
Thanks for trying this out and reporting back, guys. I installed it on my Nexus S without issue but decided not to pull the trigger on my tab.
Looks great on MT4G. I will wait to install on my GT10.1
I went from stock S2 rom to MIUI and so far loving it. However, and this is just a query really, the other night I downloaded GTA 3 from the market.
Now, on MIUI when I browse the market, its not there. Going on the website, it states "This app is incompatible with all of your devices." Well, yes it is.
I know I can prob download it elsewhere, but I paid for this.
Is this cos of the MIUI rom confusing google?
Also, as a bonus question, how can I get a list of all the apps I installed recently.
When I check googles market website, it lists only 3, and I've downloaded like 30.
GTA III will show not compatible with Galaxy S2, no matter what rom you used.
You can download the apk from others. I downloaded it and haven't got any problem so far (Just sometimes the game is force closed.)
For the installed app, I think it will show only the paid one. Mine doesn't show the free app in the previous installed. (Not Sure bout this)
EDIT : Clarify my word a bit
It runs....saw it on drippler

The thing was I downloaded this from the market in the first place. It must of been compatible to let me download it? Because on this market its gone. It like they pulled it.

I think something is wrong, tried to download the natwest app and that's also missing from the market. This MUIU seems to be causing issues which is annoying because I love using it. Any ideas?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
I don't think problem is with your Rom. I am using lightening Rom and I have the same problem with some apps I downloaded from market. Maybe its because the newer versions of those apps miss something to be compatible with galaxy S2 or maybe its a market glitch.

Its odd. They dont show up on my phone by going to the market on my pc just says it's not compatible. I guess the only way ill know is going back to my rom backup and see if it works.

Some apps are just not compatible with your phone ( GTAIII is an example, the developers haven't optimized it for SGSII ). You can still download any of those .apks elsewhere, and install them , chances are they won't work ( GTAIII does in fact work , if not by default , then by using chainfire3D). It's not, i repeat, it's NOT a bug in the market , or a bug in the ROM.
Edit: Solved it.

And suddenly I can't update Go SMS Pro (v4.33) in my Black i9100 (suddenly says incompatible) while it's normal on my fiance's White i9100.
Both international version, same ROM same installed programs inside, configuration, and version.
This once happeneded to me, maybe your DPI is not compatible with market giving you the error. If its changed return it to the value of 240
Nah, I never mess with DPI settings. Its suddenly like that.
Yesterday I can see it in the market and when it requested to update I just decline it because I wasn't in wifi area and decided to update it today but it now says incompatible. Weird...
While in my fiance's i9100 it downloaded perfectly.
And the build prop is stock. Also here's my config:
XWKL1 stock odexed ROM & Siyah v.12 kernel.
Here's my build.prop: http://pastebin.de/23354

Looks like the Chrome Beta is out on the market, says it works for ICS devices only. I installed it on my Xoom and extracted the apk in hopes of installing it on my Rezound anyway, but I get the parse error message. Anyway, market link and a DL for the apk are below, if someone cares to spend the time to get it working:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.android.chrome
http://db.tt/GHQM6yGj
It's a free app, so I don't think I'm breaking any rules by posting the apk, but if I am, sorry bout it.

Works fine on my ICS ROM. Try just dropping the APK in your /data/app. It looks a lot better and renders faster than dolphin and the stock browser.
I must be doing something wrong, when I tried to drop it in using ES File Explorer, it tells me that the copy failed.

I'm running stock Gingerbread; just got my Rezound a week ago and haven't got around to trying out an ICS ROM. Dropping the APK into /data/app doesn't appear to work, but I didn't really expect it to work so easily
I don't have any idea if it's possible to hack this to work with GB, but that would be pretty sweet.

Works on my ICS rom. (CleanROM ICS)
Went in with ROM Toolbox, seems that ES doesn't have SU privileges for some reason. Will need to find out what that is about.

If you're on Nils' ICS ROM you should just be able to install it.
Yep still on Nils ICS ROM, but its not letting me install it, has to do with security settings, its weird, he already said he took out the need to allow third party apps. I am going to play with it some more and see what I can figure out before I ask him.

The checkbox is under settings -> security -> "unknown sources". I've heard some people say that the checkbox went missing on them.

I'm using JoelZ ICS base, and downloaded Chrome Beta right from the market. It installed fine, and everything worked.

Downloaded it from phone & computer.

came across this while reading Google current article. its jellybean version of playstore. For me, everything is alot better in this one. everything loads almost instantly. alot more optimized IMO. this is the latest version. I already installed and its running fine.
there's new content in this one. like magazines, TV shows, movies, etc.. you will notice the difference once you install this. still amazed how fast everything loads up in this version.
I wasn't sure if this was allowed or not. If not, mods can immediately delete it. its just the new jellybean playstore version that was extracted from JB rom.
Is this just for the US? I have installed this but makes no difference here in the UK.
thanks man
jellybean
i read jelly bean is going to have encrypted apps, think im gonna stay with ICS!

I heard THST also. but I think that only applies for trying to sideload paid apps. I believe you can still sign onto playstore on a new device and install the apps like that. you know you have like a history section that shows all your apps you ever installed or paid from there. then you can just reinstall into new device from there.
they are trying to cut down on piracy so i see the reason why they would encrypt the app to be specific to that psrticualr device once downloaded. it doesn't stop you from entering in your same info on a new device and downloading it again, from the playstore, onto the new device.
The marketplace loads much faster now, thanks!
Thanks!

this is probably a dum? but how do i install this? it says its an APK but when i download it its a zip and it doesnt flash in recovery or install like an APK
edit-nevermind i got it, just renamed to APK and all is good. thanks
I expect this version to be rolled out to all other Android devices. My phone is still on the current version of the Play Store that doesn't have magazines, etc. When I launch the Play Store on it, there is an advertisement to own Pixar movies starting at $10, even though you need the newest version of the Play Store to buy movies. You can also download a Play Magazines app from the current Play Store in preparation for when the new Play Store app rolls out you can buy magazines (or you can subscribe to them online).
Interesting.... thanks for sharing.
Works great! I Thank you.
no problem. still amazed how much better this version is than previous one. this playstire loads everything nearly instant now.
Yes, it's crazy how fast it is compared to the ICS one we previously had.
Sorry for beating a dead horse here, but does the system still lag when installing apps, has that been sorted or is it still more or less the same?
Amazing, Thanks!
Hi,
Is there an European version available? I installed this one and now it does not download apps from the store.
Thanks in advance

Anyone have any luck with the Amazon Appstore?
I installed the most recent version and it just opens to a black screen with the Amazon Appstore log and search box at the top and the menu button at the bottom. Nothing responds.
Does anyone know where I can get a reliable previous version?
Edit--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I acted too soon. I had an old version from October 2012 that works.
I have the same problem - and I had to use the same solution. Very strange problem and I wonder if there's more than two of us with it.
I've seen other posting the same in other forums. Hopefully Amazon finds a solution soon. I'd really like to get rid of the update message everytime I run the Appstore.

YES - Don't do it for now. Something is messed up with the newest version to where it won't let you log on or download any of your apps.
You can try the update. If you the app fails to start up you can just uninstall and re-install the old apk.I don't know if or when an update will come. Its hard to tell when you always have an update notification.
Appstore is not compatible with Sense 5. I have the same issue on my Droid DNA that's running Sense 5. The only workaround is using the old APK and hope for a fix from Amazon.
