Hi, sorry if this was a n00b question..
as i remember, when i was using my stock ROM, my camera can do the zoom in / out via volume button..
but after flashing other custom ROM, my Ace's camera wont do the zooming anymore..
I've tried some other camera application on the Play Store, but nothing works ..
Can you help me ?

I have got stock rom 2.3.3 and it works fast, no problem with it.
I have only one problem. When i press the Power or Home button it takes 1 second to turn on the screen.... It is not a big lag but it is annoying.
Why? How to fix it?
Its a well documented firmware issue. Upgrade or flash a custom ROM and it goes.

It's a glitch in GingerBread that is fixed in ICS or Froyo
Defy-ing all limits.
Also fixed in AOSP without stock libraries.

I think the problem's with the cpu speed.. increase the minimum speed of your cpu.. this works for my ace.. good luck mate !

i dont think it is a problem of to slow CPU. It forks fast. But it is something like timeout for lcd. Which ROM dont has got this lag?
Best way for me would be to instal a patch/update becouse of waranty. I have got branded stock rom and i'm happy with it so far.. (fast, no resets)
Its a well documentated gingerbread bug ..... try Google ......

Hey guys, i believe some1 already make this kind of thread before, and i'm sorry that i repeat it, because this is really annoying when i play taptap revenge 4.
The fc occurs when the music has ended. This happens either with wifi or 3G .. but sometimes, the fc doesn't occur
I'm running on stocklite v6 by tj_droid and CF-Root b84 kernel, taptap revenge v4.4.1.3 .

It is not the rom every android phone suffers this fc on tap tap wich means it is a badly ported app
The problem is that tapouls does not want to give us updates (I think it is becuz they make enough money from iphone users)
PS:They can't say android does not have enough hardware power, ok maby the ace but not the s2 it has much better hardware than the iphone 4 (wich runs it smootly)
Um..so there's no way to fix this fc ? I really love taptap ..

Yes, i have also noticed that stock froyo had better images compared to CM7.
to the best of my knowledge, there are no settings to change that.
also the camera app keeps running in the background even if you use if for a min.
eats up a lot of battery, so i quarantine it and only unlock wen taking pics.

Cant v keep camera files same as froyo in cm7...?? So dat it will gv same clarity as stock froyo..

I use android 4.0 so don't have ISO
i'm on android 4
with stock camera app!
change mod to normal!
then change ISO on camera setting

use touch focus....it worked for me
is there any way to use the camera from GB in ICS.???

The stock Rom is very smooth for me. All custom roms goes slow after some time. Is there any third party camera app that can solve this issue?
