I Have the Miui Music app and been using it for all the barebones ROMs I'm trying and it works awesome.....
Just one minor Glitch is that it has the feature for lyrics but it always keeps showing "lyric search failed"....
now I read somewhere that they might have moved the server from where the lyrics are fetched so can anyone post the latest version with the new servers or tell me some patch or anything that'll let me grab the lyrics from the player?

i use the musiXmatch app for the lyrics
it works for most players, so i guess it should support miui player in case u cant fix your lyrics issue

i think default music player can do that try again and search well....
if not you can also find many music apps in market that might work try them...
Nope, can't do that with the stock player... Tried PlayerPro, can't neither...
Try mixzing music player... It will probably gave what you are looking for ?

Try power player, it has hell lots of features.
No... neither of them can do that....
Actually PlayerPro can, but I'm getting FC when trying play songs that should be under the same album artist.

is there any music app which shows lyrics synchronized with music?
i used to use MIUI,but after flashing a2sd,it says lyrics search failed.
I tried searching and trying apps like shazam but it also doesn't work.
so if anyone knows any working alternative then please share.

Poweramp does what you want but you have to buy the pro version to get that ( I think) but I believe cloudskipper does provide synchronized lyrics

It may not be in sync but i Like PlayerPro the best. You can search for lyrics if you dont like what it gives you. You can also look for album artwork and artist artwork

I searched the Android Market and the net, but couldn't find any player that automatically makes a "Most Played Songs" playlist based on your listenings.
Are there any?
Edit: And can open the lyrics hidden in the audio file. That would be awesome.

Try searching for Miui music app in xda. I really don't know all of the features, but I know it is loaded and works on Sense based roms as well.

I downloaded Miui, but it seems the program doesnt have a "most played playlist" thing.
I think it does show lyrics, but I couldnt get it to work. I usually add the lyrics from iTunes to the audio file but none of the lyrics showed up in the program.
My old phone, Nokia 5800 did showed the lyrics and had a most played songs playlist... Thinking this brilliant phone doesnt have those features is just sad...
Player pro... Works great has a good EQ. It is the best music player i have tried...

Hey guys. Im not exactly sure if this is the right forum i'm posting. Please move this thread to where it belongs when im wrong.
I need the stock music apk from cm9 nightly.
Not that one with blue headphones. Not the google one with orange headphone.
Im looking for that music app with the blue speaker icon. I think it might be the stock froyo or gingerbread music app, but im not sure about it.
I looked also on xda and found threads about it, but there werent any answers or i found dead links.
The major thing i want this app is because it has features wich i miss on google music or ics music player.
Eg. I click on interpret and it shows me the ablum. On the player i am looking for besides the album title, the amount of titles it has was shown. I never saw that on any other player again.
And the most important thing im missing on all other players is the ability to put music to actual playlist. I dont k ow how to translate that in to proper english but i hope you understand what i mean.
When i click on "put to playlist" only with the old player i get the "actual playlist" thing. I dont need to savy any playlist, i only put them n line with other songs im already listen to.
I messed up my old nand backup because i thaught i saved that file with titanium b.
I cant find also any older cm9 nightlies. And all i found is that new ics player.
I would be greatly thankful if anybody has that file or give me a link or sth.
Or if you can tell me how i use these features with the new ics player.

I am currently using minilyrics a music player by crintsoft...it gives you the lyrics of almost every song bollywood or hollywood...
But the problem is it has no features, not a single one..i want a music player with lyrics of all songs like minilyrics do and had sone features also like sharing a file , crossfade and more...can anyone suggest any??

I’m using MusiXmatch, very good player on its own, it can also run as a service and detect the lyrics when you’re using another player.
It has also Shazam/soundhound-like recognition features.

I have tried many, and MusiXmatch is the one I kept. I like its simplicity, lack of annoying social feature, excellent lyrics database. The only thing I would like to see added is highlighted lyrics. TuneWiki does it, using the same lyrics database I believe, but is annoying as hell trying to shove its social interaction all the time.
Hint: use lucky patcher to remove ads.
+1 for PlayerPro. Best part is that you only download lyrics you wanna know, not every single song you play (saves alot of battery).

PowerAmp player + musicx match lyrics pluggin is a good combo, poweramp is the best player out there ,lots of options ,even amplifies audio out...

Does it also include all bollywood songs?? And I want to ask one more thing that I have many songs of a single album but earlier if I put the songs in different folders it shows 2 different albums but now after installing a custom rom even when the songs are in the same folder any music player shows different albums.. many albums are there with the same name..
Any help please...

PlayerPro. You can search lyrics for a song you like and save them. Also, you can search for album art (unlike MusiXMatch) and many other great features.

Minilyrics is the only application which can provide lyrics for all the bollywood and hindi songs. So far i haven't come across any music player other than this which supports bollywood song lyrics.
i used tunewiki when i first got my G1. so go with that.

Yup, that so true. However Minilyrics is a barebone app. There is nothing more you can do with it.
