Flashed the Rom, I searched the thread and found nothing, but after flashing and restoring my apps+data my home button stopped working. Not the feedback, just the entire button itself, gone.
Anyone have an idea of how to fix this?
Edit:: Reflashed ROM and it's working now, forgot to do the ATT fix before I rebooted, hopefully I can just reapply it now and it'll be fine >_<

I posted this in fascinate forums and haven't been able to get any help, so I figured I would post here as well. I have been running cm7 and installing the nightlies as they come out. When I flashed nightly #9, I lost complete use of my soft keys. Imagine how annoying it is to have to reboot to change screens. I installed a catlog to see if I could figure out what was going on, but I know absolutely nothing about programming. So, this is what I think I figured out. In the bootup, there's no device for "mice", says something about device not found, and then there's another error in system bootup about the"face" error. So I think I have lost something in the system bootup that runs my soft keys.
Does anyone else have issues with their soft keys? Before I lost them totally, my back button would activate all by itself until everything and I mean everything was closed.
I haven't been able to go back to stock to see if that works because I haven't had any computer access since this happened. I will be home tomorrow, so I can see if that helps.
If anyone has any other insight, I'd be really glad to know.

I had the same issue when I flashed to Paranoid Android, a jellybean based ROM. Everything worked fine for me with Cyanogenmod 7.2, then I flashed to Android 4.1 and lost the use of the soft keys. I still haven't resolved the issue.

In case anyone else has this issue, I tried flashing a stock Froyo ROM, a stock Gingerbread ROM, CM 7.2 again, and even stock GB with the latest Verizon Wireless update for GB and the softkey functions never returned. I've managed to put Paranoid Android 2+ back on the Fascinate, a Jellybean ROM, so I can mimic the buttons with onscreen controls, but it eats up a lot of screen real estate. It's a workaround, not a solution by a long shot.
The touchscreen on my phone with MiniCM7Pro V21 stopped working. Everything else is working (buttons), except the touchscreen. It shows everything but I can't do nothing with my finger.. I've had this problem before, but then it could be fixed by simply taking out the battery and rebooting that way. This time that didn't work. First thing that I tried was factory resetting the phone, clearing all caches, etc. Touchscreen still not working after booting. Then I flashed SonyStyle V1.1 touchscreen still not working. Then I 'repaired' it with SEUS, touchscreen was working fine. Rooted the phone, installed CWM. Touchscreen still working. Installed SonyStyle V1.1, touchscreen stopped working, but again, I could see the home screen, open the menu with the hardware button, change volume, lock the phone, open up camera, app drawer, type something in search. Just the touchscreen won't work.
Any ideas? Please, I can't live with the stock rom..

Use SE Update Service(SEUS) an flash Stock ROM... happened to me b4...after flashing stock rom everything is fine...
read the first post again. already tried that. can't live with stock 2.1.
I too had this problem I installed stornmix rom nd everthng was back to nrmal...
Bt u can try deleting the multitouch module using ADB shell...

Hello. I have a pretty big problem and i've been trying to solve it for the past 2 days. Everything was running fine but then i noticed that when i wanted to turn auto rotation back it didn't allow me. I clicked on it but it didn't work so i rebooted it and then it worked. If i wanted to switch it off i had to reboot the phone again. This also happens with everything else. Like for example also when I wanted to switch 3g off it didn't work. It's like i turn it off and it turns back on by itself and I have to reboot my phone just for it to work. I did factory wipe + install clean official rom and now im on epsilonproject-ics. I was using Foxhound ics v2 before. Can anyone help? Thank you.
Any help is appreciated. I currently have AOSP's ICS rom installed on my gtablet, and it works fine for a few hours but randomly it will freeze and completely lock up, and nothing will restart it. I understand these freezes required pressing the internal reset button, which requires some surgery, but has anyone else had this issue with this ROM and found a way to prevent it? Thanks for the help.

1st of all i've been having problems with my wifi only. I have flashed every single rom available with no luck. I got wifi when i flashed dark glass 0.3 but it does not load, error on launcher. Now the home button does not work but the light turns on and the screen works so i don't think it needs to be replaced.

Not sure if you already tried it but you can flash your stock RUU to see if wifi and home button work under stock ROM. If they still don't work, it's likely to be hardware problem.
