dude i wiped and installed and its stuck at the htc screen is it a while before it start up cause i haven't even heard the boot sound yet

Amazing work! I'm about to flash and try it out, seeing as you're working on it, I think this thread might help you fix the camera driver!
It says it would work for most any HTC devices, and by just me reading it should!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1427030

does GSM work at all?

has anyone got it to boot im using cwm 5.0.2.7 i think to flash it

good job, touch screen stops working when playing games

You need to flash the boot.IMG from inside the rom since we don't have s-off yet

I had to upgrade to 5.5.0.4 to flash the ROM. With 5.0.2.7, the phone would just restart in the middle of the installation.

Anyone tried flashing both ROM and boot.img via 4EXT Recovery?

Yes, worked perfectly. Turned off while installing the first time, just booted back into recovery and reinstalled, kernel and all!

Status Report:
What works and works well:
-Music Playback (headphones, speaker)
-Graphics (WAY Smoother than any ROM for this phone out right now)
-Gallery (plays back video and shows pictures well / no lag)
-Calculator (Mmmmm, numbers are added and subtracted perfectly)
-CPU management! I can change clocks and governors without it crashing!
-BOTH Internel and SD card
What works almost:
-Movie Studio (opens, loads a project, but can't import video. My guess being the format we recorded in gingerbread doesn't play well with it, but I can watch them fine in the gallery)
What doesn't work:
-Camera (But when I open camera, instead of a force close, it says "Can't connect to the camera", which is nicer than it not opening at all!)
-ANY GSM (NO data, calls, text)
-Wifi (Kernel / hack needed)
-Bluetooth (Kernel / hack needed)
-DSP Manager (I'm guessing libs needed somewhere, because it doesn't force close, it just doesn't effect audio either through headphones or speaker.)
All in all, very stable ROM, and the fastest I've seen yet on this device! Cannot wait for at least GSM functions for a daily driver
---------- Post added at 07:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:52 PM ----------
Advance power menu also working!

[ROM/WIP/DEV] EVO 3D GSM/CyanogenMod 9 Unofficial v1.2 [ICS 4.0.3] 17.02.2012

CyanogenMod is an aftermarket firmware for a number of cell phones based on the open-source Android operating system.
It offers features not found in the official Android based firmwares of vendors of these cell phones.
At CM9 there is a lot of extra stuff and tweaks, that`s the difference to official ICS 4.0.3!
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
The Rom is compiled from the latest CM9 sources and base is from TripNraver`s ROM.
For the most part it will be kept originally like any other CM 9 release

Notice:
For camera maybe we have to re-write the camera HAL modules/camera libs
to get it working with ICS ROMs,AOSP ROMs.
Maybe similar method as in the link is needed.
Found this and maybe anybody can help:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1427030
3D is a other thing,there aren`t apps for 3D for AOSP/ICS
and at Sense it is baked into Sense and the apps.
CyanogenMod itself hasn`t puplished device and vendor files for the 8x60s.
I also think HTC doesn`t released all the needed code for 3D and camera.
Problem too,no ICS 8x60 source at the moment and no ICS ota updates.
If this things available,we can make more possible.
Changelogs:
v1.2
- graphical glitches fixed (maybe not all,but most of them)
- DSP Manager seems fixed
- tweaks to buil.prop added (battery saving and performance)
v1.1
- data fixed
- ADB fixed
- USB mounting fixed
- sound with headphones fixed (both channels works)
- phone near to face and ending calls seems fixed
v1.0
- Initial release
*and again*
Woahhhh. Gonna try this out, thanks!

Read first post about "Notice".
Can be possible but seems not easy!
Nice work, but i hope Camera & USB mounting is working in future.
Too bad that EVO 3D is not so popular,we need more developer for the missing driver.
Greetings from MIUI-GER
its like rewriting the entire camera for the phone, and both cameras...
they managed to get it done on SGS2, and a lot of people had drama and complained about ICS and **** there till any talk on CM9 or AOSP was taboo in that forum.. such whiners and ungrateful people

USB mounting at the moment only possible via recovery, then you can copy
files to sdcard.
Maybe possible with some apps from market too!

Yes,but seems not easy to re-write the camera modules/libs.
Maybe the camera app itself need a hack too support both resolutions.
The same as for Amaze camera app.

This is developed for the GSM 8GB version of Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (GT-I8190), and tested when running I8190XXAMG1 baseband.
I'll only support this model since it's the only one I own, if someone wants to attempt to port this ROM to his model feel free to take my tree as base, but don't expect support from me.
I'll never recommend this rom for daily use, you'll use it at your own risk. I do this because I love to learn lots of things about Android.
Reporting Bugs
If you want to report bugs please read THIS HOWTO first. Please try to provide logs if you see errors (logcat and dmesg). If you don't know how to do that check google or ask people here to help you. Don't contact me directly.

Download
You are storing very sensitive information on your phone. You always have to be careful what ROMs you flash and whom you trust. If you don't trust me then don't use my ROM or compile it from source by yourself.
You can download the ROM here.
This ROM is not meant for daily use!

If you turn Airplain mode on / off you will be able to have data (with correct APN settings ).
I can connect to internet fine but I dont have phone(incoming calls) as stated in OP
CM10 Alpha? That sounds great. I will test it after work
Tested for a couple of hours and runs smooth.
Installed also gapps-jb-20121011-signed and there were no problems
To enable data turn airplane mode on and off and you will get APN settings
For the moment two major known issues as stated in OP
- No calls
- USB mounting to read internal and external storage
Keep the good work
to all....please can someone flash my kernel or stock kernel ( you can get from dmod thread) to see if RIL works?? i think that some permission is missing in init.*.rc files..

Just a word of advice you gotta publish your kernel sources as soon as possible(It breaks GPL otherwise). And please provide a download link because placeholders are not allowed(xda rules).
I would urge you to do so fast because mods are known to take action for htc devices fast.....And I really want a new build

He has yet made no mods in kernel, so in effect, the sources he is using are stock. Maybe modded the " no modules for bcmdhd" part, but except that, all other are stock.

Thanks!
But I've just 120mb data left.
Anyway,
I'll be switching back to CM11 soon because I need RIL as I don't have WiFi right now.

With this gapps phone gots boot loop. After all, I'm very good surprised about 5.0 , it's fast, really fast, something about 150 mb free ram, of course, many force closes, once I got random reboot, generally it's good rom, if ril will be works, I can be beta tester, damn I like it also something what impress me, battery saver, I know this is Lollipop part, I really miss about stamina mode in all of the kitkats there, it's interesting, I must test it )

ops! I'm sorry dude, but as said, i can't test until few days, so it was possible that gapps i told to try weren't good for this rom
Anyway if someone found a good one i would like to know the link
Cheers
Using it for almost 10 hours now.
As an alpha build, kudos to devs! :victory:
Bluetooth works good.
Audio works flawlessly.
Wifi got disconnected automatically at a point.
The battery is good. I think its just because of no RIL.
RIL doesn't work. Even a little as mentioned.
As expected, the UI is laggy.
No root access.
There's no lockscreen wallpaper.
And a lot of bugs!
Very eager to try this out. Thanks!
good work bro and many thanks for you keep going to get fully version working in all
Reserved
:good: Congrats!
Really nice to see, that Sola is still alive and booted in Lollipop.
I'm watching this thread like a hawk! my wife has the Go and apart from it having a low rez screen the phone is damn amazing!!!
awesome to see the phone getting lollipop. just basic AOSP and she'll be over the moon.
many thanks to the dev for the work put in!
Nice to see 5.0 running on my SOLA. Thanks

you did it.. again! g8 m8
Quick review:
This is the fastest rom I have ever tried!! (faster than cm11, Mokee & stock)
Floating mode is awesome!!
Minimal rom which means no lag & increased performance
What I didn't like:
Same problems of all CM11:
Camera crashes on recording video
Low mic volume
Most themes wrongly change resolution
Acute battery draining (may be due to high performance)
Over all if video recording doesn't mean so much for you, This is highly recommended
Another rom! Great work weritos. Trying this right now!
All was working fine but... Can't open Spotify, just crashes.
Man you are smokin'!
By LED off you mean that the LED doesn't work?
And does the bug I reported on CM11 regarding text autosizing exist here as well?

Building a Lollipop ROM is not like building a KK ROM. I doubt if it's possible on our device. Hell I'm not even sure about whether it can be rooted at all.

@weritos, do you plan to fix the LED in this ROM? If you do, this one is definitely the ROM for me.

Sure, if it's not too much of a bother.
Another Q: Does it fix the text autosizing issue (as in Mokee)?
Sent from my P714 via Tapatalk
@weritos, if you have no time posting this ROM with working LED (don't mind the bug at startup of course), then even showing a hack (like copying files from the CM11 ROM with the working LED) would do.
when will come the final 4.6 version?
