Did anyone notice BLN is not working on DDKQ8 for text messages,or is it only for me?
I think services.jar eeds to be modified but have no idea how to do it.

Bln only works wen Yu have a kernal supporting Bln
I think stock lacks Bln support

It works on calls and other notifications, but it doesn't work with messages. At least in my case. I have tried with BLN pro and still the same.
Do u use alternative sms notification app like sms popup or something like that?

And I am having same problem with bln pro even.

Can anyone tell me how to patch file services.jar to activate BLN control? I read original one in link which given by ketut in CF-Root thread but I'm still confused about how to apply it to SGA's file

I think you need JDK though. Anyway i've a hunch the services.jar from another firmware might be actually the same so if you have a backup see if the services.jar patch for the available firmwares can enable BLN? If not then that's too bad, you'll need to patch it.
I also tried to see the difference bettween patched file and original one. However, it's hard to see. It's better if we have a guide, maybe from other phone but I cant find any guide
It's just replacing some lines if I'm not wrong, that will allow notifications to access hardware button lights.
Can you try? Backup your services.jar and then flash the patched one from another firmware. I do believe it will work. If between versions it doesn't work then it might be between revisions..

I ported THeMyth based on stock rom We have stock ks2 and stock ks3 so I have TheMyth KS2 and KS3 Maybe there is no big difference

Need to patch service.jar
I would like not to deodex XXKPP because it made my phone act weird. Does anyone know if BLN would work on an odexed firmware with patched services.jar? And there are not any tutorials for patching.

i made it so i'll give it to you...but i suggest to just install a new rom.
what rom are you on now? stock?
if you are...you cant do the ICS animations...you have to be deodexed.

there is honestly almost no difference between ics and hc transitions...you should be fine

no one's making fun of you bro. it's just that you said that you know how to make roms. so if that were the case you would think that something as simple as adding animations to framework-res.apk/res/anim wouldn't be such a task for you.
bold red lettering is what you are wanting to change in the framework to get the animations. you said you use overcome so i've attached that modified framework-res.apk with the ICS animations for you. by the way. the animations won't make the rom any faster.
I said no offense...i didnt mean to make fun of you..but it is sorta weird that you can do a lot more complex stuff but didnt know about animations...i was going to upload it but task beat me to it

hi..this is my 1st mod mms.apk, it based on holo ICS 4.1 modified stock mms.apk..
i just modified a bit... next time will be more things changed color..
just want to share ^_^
if you like it, just download from link above then flash it to system/apk manually..
here is the steps :
1) extract the zip to your phone to get the "SecMms.apk".
2) paste it to /system/app.
3) remove or backup your stock SecMms.apk and its odex to .bak file (just rename it)
4) change permission of your new SecMms.apk to rw--r--r .
5) reboot

I'm running chuckybeans masterrom v7, with cwm recovery and cocore kernel v 5.6.2+
I tried to flash your secmms.apk as told, step by step.
Used ES File Explorer with root permissions to copy the file
Now, the problem is, that my device wont start... just shows the first screen with device model and so on
then it turns off again...
donwload and recovery mode are still functioning

Now I have to swipe left or right to see "downloaded" or "all"-button.
