Can someone please make notification widgets wihtout all the extra add on such as battery mod? Just plain widgets and thats it.
I also want this!
Just look and read threads this works follow instructions on the first page for notification widgets

No, it does NOT work. Tried it on both official ICS and Arconium ICS v1. When you apply the zip, the notification bar goes missing.
Try notification launcher from market for status bar toggles

Dude why don't you use notification toggle app? on ICS you can directly turn on/off just like the modified systemui with touching the icons... plus it is easy to modify it: display what you want.. change order and change icons using icon downloader
PLUS it always works

http://www.xda-developers.com/android/pulldown-notification-widget-mod-for-virtuous-rom/, so we could have all toggles in one place in notification bar?
It's present in all cyanogenmod based ROMs, such as miniCM, Nexus, Elelinux and I guess in 2.3.3 ROMs as well.
Would it be possible to put them on stock Rom like they are in cm7 minicm, using stock Rom at the moment and miss them quite bad. Lol

Well, pull CM settings files from any 2.2 ROM and try to install/adjust it to 2.1, there's a slight possibility you will succeed. Or maybe there are sources for CM based on 2.1 ROMs, when there was no froyo and ginger, look it up on CM website
I was wondering for stock rom too. It would be great that someone from dev-s who implemented that into CM, tries to make some script for stock rom
Read my post again and start looking for CMsettings app
You can try widgetsoid.

@Graveir - if I knew where it is, or how to do that, I wouldn't be asking here
Widgetsoid isn't the same as pull down menu...
There's also apps that can add toggles to notification pulldown. Like Power Control Plus.
How?? I have power control but there is no option for notification bar...
It's an option that pops up on first page if you launch it from App Drawer (not add widget).

it would be great if the stock rom have this , se roms suck and custom roms are buggy too bad for such a cute stylish handset
I presume that stock rom doesn't support multiple notification clicks? It there a way to enable this feature(?
Hi people. Recently I've been very into looking for various mods for our CM9 to see what works and what doesn't work. These are NOT my mods, they are just mods that are compatible with our Galaxy Players. Below is the list:
-This mod is a tweak. It helps a lot with lag and I definitely recommend the one first. More details are here where down download is available: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1353903
-ICS Reloaded Mod. Polishes up the Notification area with some nice toggles. Check it out here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1531222 Screenshots are there as well.
-Holo Themed MMS, Calendar and Market apps. It changes the color to match the ICS Blue. Check it out here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538265 Screenshots are there as well.
-True Blue ICS. More color changes. This mod removes gingerbread orange and replaces it with ICS Blue for a more rich app experience. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1492804
Mods that DON'T work:
-ICS 4 way lockscreen mod.
Mods that should be tried:
-Getting Tablet UI in CM9. Thread is here if you want to try: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1483221
**If there are any mods that I forgot/new mods that someone tried and works fo r us, comment the mods and link them. Thanks and happy modding!
All credits for these mods go to ORIGINAL DEVS! I am just sharing. Try them out. Not my fault if you get bricked/something happens to your device in a bad manner.
All of these mods are flashable via CWM!!
Thanks!

It does that occasionally for me too. Guess that's the downside of it being an app instead of systemui mod. But at least it works.
Also if you want the gps / nfc to be direct toggles and you have root. Make a system app of it: http://vps201.fra05-inx03.webhod.de/thomas/j4velin_development/dl-root.php?app=nt
/edit: in the settings of the app there is a toggle "display in the on-going no notifications section". Seem like if you uncheck it, it will be moved back to the top.
It looks pretty nice too. The CM9 icons you can download from within the app fit the xps theme pretty well:
Yeah I have it as a system app and use the CM icons.

I can upload the deodexed framework/res and android.policy jars when I get home so we can do the above.
Having trouble deodexing qcrilhook.odex tho.

Unlike Notification toggle, it DOES stay above other notifications. Pretty awesome all round.

I like the new icons on your 1.1 update which was based on stock AOSP ICS icons. But can you also provide another one with percentage? I think its really helpful when charging our phones because through it, we will know if its exactly 100% fully charged. Or maybe, a cool icon with percentage inside it. Thanks a lot. [Theme/Mod] Black Status Bar/Quick Setting & Lock Icon Removal [SnowJB!] [3/08/2013]
Hey again, I have redone this with the SystemUI for the SnowJB Rom. I didn't even want to install JB until I had the time to do this.
Do a backup first. I make no promises and take no responsibility for your OG's spontaneous combustion resulting from flashing this.
I would suggest wiping cache and maybe even dalvik after flashing.
Reported working on stock AT&T Roms. I can't vouch for this because I have not tried it. Backup if you wish to attempt it.
I also modified the QSlide add on to black it out for those who would want it.
SnowJB Black Status Bar/Quick Settings
V1: Self Explanatory, see screenshot 5. View attachment 1750838
V1.1 Same as V1 with the QSlide bar, see screensot 6. View attachment 1753136
V2: V1 with the clock color changed to stock blue, see screenshot 7. View attachment 1789917
V2.1: V1.1 (QSlide) with the blue clock. View attachment 1789920
Original ICS Post:
Hey guys, I have been playing around in some of the system .apks and making some small edits to them and wanted to share.
I am running The Base Rom and therefor (for now) all of these use Base (7.3) .apks.
I would not install these on any other Rom without a backup and the understanding that I have not tried them myself.
I adapted The Base Rom v.0.7.3 update.zip script (because I have never made an update.zip before), so I would like to thank Nottach for the original script.
If Nottach has a problem with this, please let me know, I will remove it.
I have absolutely NO affiliation with Nottach or The Base development, if you run into any problems Nottach is NOT responsible.
I have heard it works on stock if you delete (or rename) /system/app/SystemUI.odex after you install it (and then reboot again), I can't guarantee it will work correctly, but it is reported to work. As always, backup first.
Also posted working on Nocturnal, again, backup first.
Base 7.3 black status bar mod.zip (V1-3)
I have made the status bar for The Base v.0.7.3 black (and the Quick Settings background in V3).
V1: This is a darker (very dark gray) status bar, but not completely black. (screenshot 1)
V2: V2 is a pure black status bar.
V3: V3 has a pure black status bar and also themes the background for the Quick Settings (screenshot 2).
V4: V4 is V3 with the gray dividers removed from the Quick Settings (screenshot 3).
Base 7.3 lockscreen no icon.zip
I noticed when using the first lockscreen clock (the minimal one) that it added a lock icon in the middle of the lockscreen.
I have removed it and the small animation that goes with it (I have only made the .pngs transparent, they are still technically there).
(See screenshot comparison [pic 4]).

This comes with the normal disclaimer, I have installed these successfully on my phone with no issues, but can not promise a similar result for you.
This replaces system apps from /system/app/, so I strongly recommend either a system backup in recovery or at least making a copy of your version of the edited apps before installation.
Install via recovery.
Thank you for your support, I'm a noob, but really love getting my hands dirty here.

Ah, nice to know it worked.
I was planning on making a stock one soon.
There could still be issues, I'm not sure (don't know how much Nottach did to it his version).

I'm hoping to do a stock one, but have to learn to deodex first (am looking into it).
I can't promise anything here.
I'm loving the blackness! The lock icon removal is sweet too. Thanks!

Make a backup and flash it. If it doesn't work, it's not like you'll brick the phone.
