[Q] Smart tags app - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi i flashed today the LT26 6.0.A.3.73 Generic Trade Central Europe 1 but in this FW there isn't the app for smart tags. I install it from google play but in that version there isn't some action as toggle for gps and more than.
Anyone can me link there the apk of the apps from his Xperia s?

Thank you very much, but it didn't work. Same problem... i think it's a problem of FW....

Not sure what you are trying to do. But you can edit / set up actions associated to a tag using LiveWare Manager -> SmartTags. It's not done by the Tags app.

There isn't neither in the app cited by you
In my opinion there isn't the function in the FW
Any idea?

Could you please post a screenshot of what you see when you access LiveWare Manager -> SmartTags -> Applications and settings?
And I assume that you have already scanned a SmartTag for the first time before you access the above. You need to do so.

Hmm, I am on .73 SG firmware and have the GPS option (see attached). So I guess it's really your firmware.

New Android Market (3.3.1.1) Leak, Adds Auto-Update by Default and Update Over Wi-Fi

New updated Market (11/01/2011). It's being pushed to some handsets.
Download:
Android Market 3.3.11
What's changed?
+++New setting: Auto-update apps (presumably, sets all apps to auto-update mode, woohoo!)
+++New setting: Update over Wi-Fi only
+++New setting: Auto-add shortcuts (automatically adds homescreen shortcuts for new apps, ala Honeycomb)
+++Smaller font
+++New app drawer icon
+++Microphone (voice command) button in search menu
+++Star rating chart on app pages
+++Minor UI tweaks
sweet thank you!
Has anyone put this on their Sony tablet yet? Is it working OK?

I had the same problem and it was messing up a lot. Go to settings > applications > market > uninstall updates on whichever one will let you. Then I cleared data/cache for both and restarted. Back to only 1 market now- the old one, but I'm fine with that until it updates on its own.
Just goto new Market Settings -> Applications -> Market
Uninstall Updates
Thats it !!
Now u will have only one old version of market..

I just installed.
Worked very well.
But i still have 2 markets.
I think there will always be 2 markets if you install this because it's the handset (phone) version and we have the tablet version, so there's no way android knows to replace one with the other, and you can't delete the market apk without root.
is really better the 3.3.11 is a lot faster, and what about having two markets? just add a icon for the newest and just use that

Except for the fact that they interfere with one another and cause lots of fc's
yes, trying it for a while i discover that, but, today i got and update OTA, and guess my surprise having an android market 3.3.1.1 official!!!! and it works just fine
Yeah I noticed that too! Sweet!
Any way to get the previous Market widget?
With the new update I no longer see what changes have been made to updated apps. It used to display the info in the update section but now there are no change notes.

I did not understand what you trying to tell. Kindly can you explain.
He basically saying that SVoice is really just for show, to let you get a taster of voice commands and the is another app called 'Jeannie' which is a similar kind of thing.

The main thing is you are able to delete all of your "downloaded apps".
If you search under "my apps" and go to "all" and you will see a list of every app you have ever downloaded for whatever account your'e on, and sometimes if you have downloaded a ton it can be a pain to find a particular app so you can now delete apps you may have d'l once but wont use again.
Just a bit of a clean up/timesaver thing but not much else.
LL13-
I also thinks the notification looks a little different^^

So does this mean that if you delete an app that you don't want to get updated anymore but still installed in the phone...it will not show up in updates??
In other words will it break the market link to the installed app if deleted from downloads?

These are infomations with the update
Tasks enables you to create, manage and synchronize Exchange™ to-do lists and reminders. It is easy to set up and use with your existing Exchange™ account.
Version: 1.0
Description:
Create, manage and synchronize Exchange™ tasks. Manage your professional and personal life with to-do lists and reminders.
I guess it's a really good app for those who uses Exchange, but Google Keep is really good at notes and task managing, so i don't see why a normal human being should use this if (s)he doesn't need Exchange. I downloaded it and used it for maybe 30 seconds, and uninstalled it. I don't need it.
That doesn't mean the rest of the people owning a Ultra shares the same opinion as me, so that's fine. I just think Sony is a bit late to the game with this one.
Do a search!
Tasks is a to-do app similar to those found in Google Play store, but this update comes directly from Sony.
Like any other android task app, you can create a list of reminders on this Tasks App version 1.0.A.0.1 . Simply tap on new task option, enter details and your reminder is set up.

It is easy so
Click on update Center
Click on the three dots on the right corner
click manage updates
click on the eye icon on the right of the app
that will hide the update from the Update center and you will not see it again unless you show it

Question Xperia 1 III and LAPD compile

I read an article about the LAPD Hidden Spy Camera Detection using Smartphone Time-of-Flight Sensors (official webiste) and find the related GitHub project so my question is: someone on Xda may have the knowledge to compile a working app for the Xperia 1 III? May it work on it? Thanks

Can you give the specific name of the app, or the direct link for the app in the play store, or a screenshot of the app in the play store
Searching for "hidden camera" in the play store comes up with many generic results and none of them seem to use the ToF sensor, which is what we are looking for.
