Hi forum.
Ok be honest.
Am i the ony one here there hope to see progress from the development team so mutch, that i check in and read the forum 3 or 4 times each day...?
I am shure there will be a development soon.
Btw. This is only ment as a little fun dev support, as i can`t help in any other way than moral support...
Send from my X10
Well, to be honest...
Am doin the same thing too...
But i dont think they would have any ROM before 2.1 for x10 release....
I used to do it, now I just don't think it will ever happen
Waiting for the F'n update from SE now
naah...ive given up on SE long back...im rooting for the devs...i think they r making progress...they can get a custom rom on the phone...but it keeps on rebooting...and they have more brains helping them now...
P.S. Check the devs custom rom thread twice daily...
i too am checking this thread multiple times a day.
hope,hope hope.
I gave up. I think that Devs are trying there best but they need more help. One dev named "Ghorog kun" was making good progress but i think that he abandoned ship. So i am trying to swap my X10 for an HD2 although i think that x10i has better hardware.
Checking 4 Times a day.
Dear Devs
Please break this thing and give us full glory of X10.
i check it evry 2 hours relly !
plez Dev. we are waiting for u !
Same here, checking 3-4 times everyday.
I hope we will have some news soon.
Cheers
I'm checking it every day too Wish I was a dev so I could post in that thread too
Yeah im checking non stop I hope it happens soon! We need a site like engadget or gizmodo to call on devs to help out lol
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Most of us do look up to our developers to crack the bootloader and bring better usability for our beloved X10 and one day they will have it.
For other Devs to find interest in such project, they need to have an X10.
Only thread that I check in Development.
I check it twice a dice. And pray for a cracked bootloader!
me too im checking the fourm 3-4 times put i gave up and i'm waiting htc desire hd
I am doing the same thing too, felt like an addict. I check at least 4 times a day even though I know there's not going to be much happening anytime soon. From what I see so far lots of effort have spent but only a few progress. Even if they manage to find ways to modify the spl and mcpu there's still a lot more to handle until we can load our own rom. But again, I still check no matter what.
I hope there will be progress soon
Checking the forum everyday.
I check here more then I check the update button on the phone.
Sent from my X10a using smoke signals.
I check once a day on average, hoping that they crack the bootloader before their patience wears out...much respect to the devs here.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10
Checking right now. I'm at page 33 atm. I'll see if I can help out.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
he-he-he....I do not check for updates, do not expect it.
I read that the update was moved to the end of October
Sorrowfully
By this, we can only wait.
I am very sad about it.
But many have noticed that I did not renew their work. By reason that my X10 Mini Pro burned out.
Money for buy new I do not have I always pay in college for training. I've seen a few posts like this one, "Let guys gather money to buy him a new X10 Mini Pro".
I can not open a PayPal account and in other systems to buy a new phone, the only option is to send me with mail.
I want to say thank you to: slade87, nobodyatAll, dx, D4, jerpelia and other very good developers for help. Without them I would not began to work with Android.
I would like to still keep X10 Mini Pro and working on it, because this little phone I like.
But if I get a new phone! I'll be back.
Paul
I do not say goodbye! I'm talking to you soon!
Good bye, Paul. Best of luck for you developing and in life

This is not the end!!! I hope someone here gets money enough to send Paul a new x10 mini pro... (doesn't need to be a new one, could be an old one, keep the newest for yourself). Or transfer money into paul's bank account? He is only giving up because he has no cellphone to work within!
Thank you, paul. You will always be missed
Nooooo
Mate you will be missed like crazy by all mini users!!! Your roms by far have been the most stable, fast and you always fix bugs and keep up to date, If i had the cash spare, seriously i would pay for 1, but my ££ isnt too good either.
If anyone/everyone does decide to throw in to get a 2nd hand phone, i will give what i can,im not rich but,you deserve it for your work. I will hear from you on google+ Good Luck with college Paul and life in general-i see big thing in your future!!!

hmm, i`ll keep my eyes open, it would be great if we can get you a mini pro paul. for you and for us . you did amazing things for our mini pros. time to give you something back.
Hope, to you buy X10 mini pro. But think more about new Xperias 2011 (and later 2012) line. It is better performance. Think about Xperia Play, Ray, Arc, Arc S. I will buy Xperia Play or Samsung Galaxy Note
thanks for your great roms for xperia x10 mini.... which was most stable & looked like stock ....
we miss u a lot.....
though me being a student like u, i will try my level best to buy a x10 mini pro for u
xda rocks
paul rocks......
Do you continue to provide support for mini-pro?
heyy all, it was nice being here but i recently sold my mini ....
i thank the DEV's a million time for the awesome support they have given 2 this great little device
as of me, i got a Sensation XE and an Optimus Black (yes, i bought them "together") and had to sell my mini off to finance this.
i happily and heartily congratulate EVERY DEV & member in this sub-forum for being informative, friendly and helpful.
x10 mini was my 1st android phone and i got considerable knowledge about the modding power of android while using the 'xda-tweaks' for this.
thank u and best of luck to all
My heartiest congrats to your new phones!
Nice selection, but you left SE (its like a new turn in life), and you are leaving this sub-forum, nice to have you here all these days. You are welcome...in case you need something.
Regards,
Tim

Good to hear and welcome.
Feel free to root your phone and flash a custom rom.
Few things first.
There is no way to s-off your phone at this time. We're working on it though.
No ETA.
NEVER ask for ETA's from developers! Since most don't like it we try to encourage others not to even ask.
ALWAYS search and read the forums before posting a new thread or even posting a reply in a thread. This will keep you from getting flamed.
Once you get a decent amount of knowledge and experience please share and contribute with the community. That makes my job (as moderator, not 24/7 tech support) a lot easier.
Enjoy!
Thanks! I dont plan on rooting/custom roming for about another month, ill take my time to warm up to understand what S-Offing is and what not. I do know my cousin bought an HTC Amaze to which he installed custom roms/kernels. I am not very demanding so i do not mind. Stock rom is ok, and i hope to see the development grow for this phone as its pretty new

Hi everyone!
Anyway, my name's Wolf (that's what people call me) but my username is Bad-Wolf, obviously.
So, I got this phone for my 13th birthday. Best present ever. Never gotten anything like it. I used to have a HTC Wildfire S, but unfortunately, it got stolen. Link in the description. So I was left without a phone for a few months, depressed, and angry. And I was inactive on XDA for all those months. It felt like I lost my place here. I was quite known in the WFS forum, and I even developed a simple ROM, but I'm not going to name it because if I want to make a ROM here then I want to use the name again. I was also (trying) to make a simple kernel, but then it got stolen so there was no point. I'm quite a noob by the way.
So, I'm going to be here for quite a while, looking at threads and learning. Which is going to be really difficult because there's like a million threads. So if there's anything you think I should see, please tell me.
I applied to be a mod quite some time back, but I didn't get accepted. But I was informed that I would've got the job, because my application was awesome, but they're keeping me for reserve, and I might get picked if they need mods soon.
Also, let's talk about my (social group) TDOT. Which stands for "The Devs of Tomorrow". This was a group that I made a few months ago, and now is growing, and has 50+ members. It's for kids like me who like developing, or want to get into it. I'm currently making the website, and we're still working. But it's a great group, with great people.
I suppose the only work I've done with Galaxy phones is I quickly rooted and unrooted my Mum's Samsung Galaxy S, and I nervously put stock ICS on my Dad's Galaxy S2, using Odin. I was really scared, because I had never used Odin, I didn't want to brick it, and it was my first flash on that phone (after like 100 on the WFS, lol).
I've heard about all the Apple v Samsung v HTC drama. Apple has had a truce with HTC apparently. And I've heard of Samsung jigs, read a bit about them. They do something like force the phone into download mode or something, very useful for resetting the flash counter, and other stuff like that. Also, they can get you out of bricks, if you got a bad situation, maybe even a USB brick (not sure about it).
I want to learn as much as possible.
That's all I can remember to say for now (I'm forgetful). Anyway, I hope I can make good friends here, like I did on the WFS section, and maybe get into the small developing scene.
Sorry if this thread isn't in the right place. Sowwy. So I made up for it by writing all this!

Hello, aleays nice to see new young devs, I hope you feel at home with us
To root you will want to flash cf root in odin to do this dowbload the package, extract the zip once (it includes odin).
Put the phone in download mode, open odin and end all kies processes, connect the usb and odin should say added. Click the pda button and add the .tar file that was in the zip, make sure repartition is NOT checked and click start when it reboots you will be rooted.
To reset the binary counter use the triangle away app either on play store or free on xda.
I'll add links when I'm on my laptop until then search and thou shall receive

Thanks guys. you lot are nice. I thought I'd get spammed saying things like "So what if you brick it" or "Look it up yourself". Anyway, I'll do some more reading. Then I'll get my game face on.
