Install cpuspy, screen off 10 mins, you'll see. It's a natural power-saving state of phone.

You mean the charging image when the device in turned off. Mine has never changed, I presumed it couldn't be changed.

sms vibration notification?

surely it's possible to get my rooted sgs2 on Checkrom revo hd 6 with Android 2.3.6 to vibrate when I get message?
something as simple as this could force me to do the unthinkable - go back to iPhone

CheckROMinsertawesomewordshere isn't even on XDA, is it? Perhaps their forum would be a better place for support. You might want to try using some manners when requesting help though.
and? Checkrom or no Checkrom how do I enable vibration for messages? and Oink, if your not in the mood to help just don't comment please, we've met before........ I'm in the sgs2 section of xda, thanks for the reminder

Battery

Are you satisfied with the S3 battery and how long you last a day or two, if you have a format that you need to format, and whether the formatting is done after the third charge, thanks
probably the 4th thread now regarding this....please try a quick read in q&a and general before posting to save the moderators a lot of hard work

Good enough here. 1 day easily with about 5 hours screen time with data on, wifi on and gmail push and email syc every 4 hours. Pretty good for such a powerful device and a big screen.
On some days when I'm too busy to use it so much I have over 60% by the end of the day. I think it can do 2 days no problem.

on a normaly i can get about a day and a half but with heavy usage i'll be charging it by the time i go to bed. but now i have a custom rom im afraid to even wake the phone up from stand by as it drops so fast

This forum is slowly morphing into the SGSII forums i ****ing knew it would as well, im sick requesting the moderators dish out temporary bannings to noobs and those asking the same bloody questions day in, day out, they only want to appear to ban people who ask the wrong type of questions on the CM10 thread, what about the rest of these forums, swift action is required and now

2mods running help!

Why?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Is that OK running 2 ROMs? I think it will drain my battery fast , or how to uninstall paranoid android? I just want to use 1 ROM.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
You are only using one ROM. Its showing what version of CM the ROM is based on and then which version the PA is based on. It is imposibile to run two ROMs booted simultaneously.
