New phenomenal 5.1 version based on speedmod k-3 11 and with normal/medium/extreme version.
Remember that extreme version is more battery friendly, but with more aggressive undervolting and not stable for all, medium is stable for many people, normal is (in theory) stable for all.
So, before try extreme version, if have issue like freeze, try medium and if you have problems use normal.
DON'T USE OTHERS PROGRAMS THAT MANIPULATE VOLTAGES OF CPU FREQUENCIES!!PHENOMENAL IS ALREADY READY TO USE WITHOUT OTHERS MODIFICATION!!!
WORKS ONLY ON SAMSUNG BASED ROMS!
NO BLN NO CUSTOM BOOT LOGO!
BEFORE FLASH KERNEL, I SUGGEST TO FLASH CLEANING SCRIPT:

thanks to hardcore for speedmod kernel
simone and gokhan for support

The only reason to ever use Samsung based ROMs again is back!

Great !
Phenomenal was my favourite kernel in GB (always stable and great battery time).
Used Speedmod -9 over last week. Now updated to Phenomenal 5.0.
Update was without any trouble - no speed difference recogicable for me.
Battery ... we will see
Thanks
frige

thanks for this.will give it a try and feedback. btw topic name is a bit confusing.would be better if you write [KERNEL].
feedback:installed.phone doesn't boot.

hey fenomeno,
i always enjoyed your kernels in gb times. really appreciate your efforts on ics. i have the same problem...phone doesnt boot anymore... maybe its related to siyahs dualboot. will try to solve it, if i succeed , i will let you know
greetings from germany
edit:no success...im sry... flashed latest speedmod too, to see if it helps...but it doesnt , also no boot... i hope you have a solution fenomeno

Great Fenomeno!!!
Finally the Italian Best Battery Saver Kernel also on ICS!!!

Hello Fenomeno!
Welcome back again, can t wait to try it out!
(as possible I ll do, maybe )

Phenomenal is working perfectly, take a deep clean. i'm with foxhound lp7.
only thing... on 200-1000mhz, immediate freeze.

Thanks for your effort.

Testing and waiting extreme versions

wait so long for this..thank pheno

Working perfectly fine since yesterday. Just 2% lose overnight.using wanam LP7. With ondemand + noop

Will thus work on aosp/aokp/cm9 based roms? Or just Samsung?

Just sammy based roms buddy

update new base?

Who has no boot:
try apply kernel cleaning script
try phenomenal
if doesn't boot, try speedmod last version (so I understand if problem is speedmod or voltages)

you say that had freeze on switch from 200 to 1000?
how do you know that are these freq?

Thank Goodness your back.

no, pardon. after setting 1000mhz like a max freq
but i think that is a speedmod problem, with the stock kernel i had the same freeze after setting 800mhz max freq

I flashed Phenomenal on my GS2 with already Voltage Control set 200-1000 and I experienced freezes and I had to turn the battery off.
So you say that if I flash the kernel with no Voltage Control (so 200-1200) it should work correctly?

[KERNEL] Phenomenal [4.0]

I want share with you my kernel.
I like speedmod kernel.
I like undervolting.
So, I compiled my kernel Phenomenal (I compiled it for my use).
But now I want share it with you.
It is jeffrey kernel philosophy applied on speedmod kernel, but should give more battery (me and my friends confirm this after some days of use)

Phenomenal 2.2
Screen controller undervolt from 2500mv(phenomenal 2.1) to 2900mv (stock = 3000mv).
Added several undervolting in serveral modules (cam sensor, cam autofocus, memory, etc etc)

Why black and blue? : www.inter.it
voltages for normal, medium, extreme versions alre the same of phenomenal 2.0
I add also "controller of superamoled plus screen" undervolting (for all versions from 3V to 2.5V)

No Bln compatible(against battery), no bootamination(but in speedmod thread you can search a guide to have custon bootanimation), no overclocking(phone is already very fast). Setcpu compatible, but i suggest to don't install.

Shouldn't it be in Non Original Android Development???
It's a modded speedmod kernel.
Anyway, thanks for your work OP!
just reported to move to non original android development
sorry..
@moderators: can you move this thread?
thanks
I think it'd be great if you could also compile a more aggressive version (more UV) and post it here.
many thanks, trying now.

I will share a guide for dummies that explain how compile kernel with favourite values
you have interchanged the links in the CWM and Odin version Megaupload links, CWM link opens Odin version..
the kernel seems to be good , no percentage drop in the last 2 hrs idle. will keep you posted on how it is over the time. Thanks for the nice work
Initial impression: tried it and it drained my battery by 7% in 5min although the phone was on stand-by.

[D6xx] GPU patches

For any LG G2 mini model with installed any ROM and Kernel!
So after making GPU overclock I saw sometimes that max GPU frequency (533 MHz or 450 MHz) turn down to 320 MHz so I creating 2 patches to hard fixing frequency
Download one of this files and put into /system/etc/init.d (if your kernel hasn't init.d support use Kernel Auditor to emulate it), then reboot your phone:
To set 533 MHz as MAX GPU FREQ: https://yadi.sk/d/iRa00ei_gbM5N
To set 450 MHz as MAX GPU FREQ: https://yadi.sk/d/NrrzinpDgbM6R
Don't worry that after rebooting you will not be able to change max gpu freq - it must be so!
