SGS2 bootanimation, modded for our G3's! i think you will really like this one! please try it and let me know. ajay.dn6 ported this originally and i modded it.
http://minus.com/mbm4VCkV2r/
These aren't CWM Update Zips so they have to be placed into the system/media folder manually using root explorer.
set the permission to rw-r--r-- and reboot your phone to see you new boot animation!
How to easily Port Boot Animations
I used 7zip to extract the archive files from a bootanimation.zip and open up the description text.
Inside it will say something like "480 800 30p" on the first line, the first two are the size of the images so for galaxy 3 you want to change that to "240 400".
the next to numbers is frames per second so change it to what ever you like really... i think between "25p" and "35p" works best but play around and see how it feels.
come back out of the description text and highlight the three files (part 0 part 1 and desc.txt). right click and go to 7zip (or winrar i suppose if ur using it) and click add to archive.
change the name to boot animation. change the file type to zip. and change it to "store" mode.
click okay and it should produce a new bootanimation.zip with your other three files. thats your new bootanimation!
just push it to system media as explained and you are done!
Nice work!
BTW I am facing the white screens in between the boot animation. How can I fix that???
Trying from alot of time
NOTE I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT AVA.TAR'S BOOTANIMATION.
@ava.tar
will you add screenies too?

No I mean, i have created a bootanimation myself on after effects, exported it to png via quick time, then using bootanimation creater i madea .zip file. I then phone mostly of the animation is seen but some parts are not. I tried on froyo as well as cm7
NOTE I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT AVA.TAR'S BOOTANIMATION.

At the start of the boot animation or in the middle? at the start i think is a problem with graphics on cm7... in the middle is the way the two files (part 0 part 1 meet)
copy my desc.txt if you want and just add your own pics and that should fix it???
also guys! make sure your files overlap a little bit

you have to do it from computers and transfer it
or try from stock browsers as it supports javascripts
Here are two gif previews of the bootanmitions provided in this thread, maybe you wanna use that . At least it offers a more inside look of what you're gonna get when you install this animation...

Glad you like it You can make it in photoshop. If you're interested: You pick the first image of the sequence in the "open" menu and select the sequence box. Photoshop figures out what the order of the images in that folder is and makes you a nice little animation wich you can then export as a gif (I don't know if you even own photoshop but maybe someone else finds this usefull)

Hi guys, this is the bootanimation that I resized for Wildfire.
"MW4 Android intro animation" By Crackanug
This (attatchment) will fit your Wildfire screen resolution perfectly which is 240X320.
Want to make yourself an awesome custom animation, check it out here.
(NOTE1: For some reasons, I made a flashable zip via recovery. You can flash that one in recovery it will playing at original speed which is 24fps. The location I put it in is system/media. It will work for CM7)
PLEASE FLASH RECOVERY_BOOTANIMATION.ZIP BY USING RECOVERY
(NOTE2: For another reason, I made a bootanimation.zip the playing speed is 15fps. Some ROM's bootanimation wasn't in media. You can paste it in data/local for ROM like wildpuzzle. You will feel the speed is like a bit slower cause it doesnt support 24fps.
PLEASE COPY AND PASTE BOOTANIMATION.ZIP VIA ROOT EXPLORER INTO DATA/LOCAL)
(NOTE3: For another reason, I made a bootanimation.zip that has music. The playing speed is 24fps and it is located at system/media. Please check where is your bootanimation located at before flashing. This bootanimation that with music WILL NOT WORK in AOSP/CM Roms. [Haven't tested]
PLEASE FLASH RECOVERY_bootanimation_MEDIA_Sound.zip VIA RECOVERY.)

thx very much,i have wildpuzzle, so this rom dosent know bootanimations with 24fps? only 15 ?when i boot the phone, i have 2 animations, first is the bios one and second shows an android, if i flash this mw4 bootanimation will replace them both ?
There is only one animation. Bios one is combined with the android. It looks like two, but actually it is one.
To use this for puzzle, Use root explorer and replace bootanimation.zip in data/local. restart phone and it will work
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA Premium App
but wildpuzzle uses 24fps or 15 ?
Just copy and paste the bootanimation.zip I already set it to 15. Recovery_bootanimation.zip is 24.

i allready done that, my question was why wildpuzzle uses 15 fps and cyanogen 24 , anyway on 15fps dosent look so nice

Data/local only support 15. If you use 24. It won't work... and data/local will work in any wildfire Rom if you dunno where is your original bootanimation located at.
Hmm, I just crop it and change the code. I didn't change the quality. It is same as original.
I'll try the music later on and let you know.
THanks for Kevin work once again.
Edit 1: Please let me know whether the music is working or not. Thanks!

Hello all,
So last night I decided to change back to one of my favorite bootanimations.. I went to the thread to download it again, found here: http://goo.gl/LcdU3
However, all the links are dead!
So I dug out the Captivate and sure enough I found it!
I take no credit for the animation, all credit goes to cmbrougham!

generally people would record a clip of it and post it onto youtube, that's the easiest way if you have another camera. otherwise they would throw together a .gif image from the images in the bootanimation.zip archive

for more screenshots or the whole bootanimation preview, please go to Google Play Galaxy Note 2 boot animation mod - http://ykkfive.blogspot.com/2013/07/google-play-galaxy-note-2-boot.html for now
hope u like it
EDIT: it is available for download now from the link above, plus a N7100 version too. mirrors and instructions will be added later, in case u need it
EDIT2: this is NOT a cwm zip. its the boot animation file only, just put it under /system/media/ or /data/local/
requires root and a rom with custom boot animation support
thanks
edit3:
here is a low resolution sample. for a full and high density version pls refer to the link above
click on the attached IMG at the bottom if the animated gif doesn't play
edit4:
for those who want to add custom boot animation support to your ROM, or wanna see if this feature is included in the ROM u r using, u can follow the steps here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31833122&postcount=4

Thanks for this!!!!Looks gnarly with moon rom.+1000 much respect for our n7100
Couldn't get it to work. Using Epsilon Project ROM. Guess it does not support changing boot animations.

Nice boot animation but when I reboot my phone doesn't have time to play the entire animation because the phone boot time is smaller than the animation. Is there any way to make the animation faster?
Thanks

strange..
btw, for 'part6', did u mean the 'part6 folder' or the sixth part? coz in fact the 'part6 folder' is set to run at the very begining, which shows a fade in google logo

hi
i have read thru the description and searched the whole thread u posted but couldnt find any info about custom boot animation. i had asked the rom maker about it already so let's see what he replies
in the mean time, may be you can read this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31833122&postcount=4, which shows you the steps for enabling custom animation if it is not supported by your rom natively. i've examined one of his scripts and it looks ok, but pls do ensure u understand what u r going to do before u made any changes to your system.
hope this helps
