You have to modify the background picture. For these, you have to modify SystemUI.apk, and inside this apk you have to change the image with the path /res/drawable-nodpi/nyandroid10.png

I've modify it, and now you should be able to install it. I'm sorry, but I'm using CM9 with froyo kernel and now I can't test it in gingerbread kernel ROM. I guess it should work without problems.

First time after install, it may take a time to boot. It looks like the phone shut down (black screen and doesn't do anything when you press turn on button), but finally it's turn on and works.

I had the same problem where the phone went to a black screen, but the phone is not off it vibrates. Even though the screen is black you can still unlock the phone also. I tried the transparent mod.

I don't know why it's happening... I've tried this mod over Epsilon CM9 froyo kernel (12-april) and Quarx CM9 gingerbread kernel (13-april) and it's works properly. After flash it, it boots in black screen as you say, but I can unlock the phone without problems.

You can use the one from my ROM too it has Japanese Support,xLoud and Reboot Options all included.

I use stock 2.3.3 region X10i CUSTOMIZEDARO-ARO GENERIC 1241-1846, phone boot to boot animation and have boot loop until I'll pull the battery.
Akila I see on you screenshots you have traffic notifier on status bar, it's always there? or you can clean it?

It will take a minute or two to boot in to the home screen.
I can clear the notification.
all is ok for me apart from when you press power button it restarts the phone, doesn't show any menu. Would hold of for now, as op says, only changes home wallpaper.
Does this change more than just the home screen background or is it everything that's themed.

I was looking for boot animations in the GS2 International section and found this glowing one made by janis605 Original thread. I found the down animation in Villain 3.0 and made a CWM install package.
What you get is the Glowing S animation when booting up and when you shutdown.

I did exactly as instructed but no go on my SGSII. Anyone have any suggestions as to why flashing the zip did noting? I did not see any errors when flashing btw. Thanks in advance.
Edit: BTW I am running CM7.2.0 RC0 if that even matters.

The problem is this is made for touch wiz roms like unnamed for example. I think I can make a package for CM7, I'll try it in a few hours.

Been having a bit of trouble bringing this over to CM7. I have to convert the img files to PNG and find out why it won't take my script for the boot animation. Been busy with work but ill give it some love on the weekend ;-)

mine won't even go beyond the boot-screen, it loops right upto that spot. which miui is this? i am using miuiandroid , i've noticed that the miui.us/china updates don't install over the miuiandroid roms.

thanks for the mod, but i am stuck at the boot-animation screen - it runs perpetually at full power (i know that cuz it gets hot at the back). after putting this on all my accounts & sync settings got lost as well.

Hey man! I like the mod, but what about the dead bottom part of the screen. Before, that screen had dead pixels issue and many roms have problems getting that bottom part to work. With this mod, do the buttons work well? responsive? This should push up the keyboard so the keyboard buttons should be better as well. Please let me know.

like keypad light too bright,red battery blinking rate is too fast, and screen brightness on lock and relock always back to 50%.
have tryed to modify files from this thread but always changing back to original.

It should work because i don't think cyanogen changed anything inside the framework but to be sure if it bootloops flash back the original files and tell me so i can make a zip for official RC2 too

I Just flashed the ROM...
It finishes everything... Optimizing apps...and the PAC man boot animation blinks continuously....
I think there is an issue with setupwizard... maybe some other issue....

The PAC Man picture (the picture in the OP) appears and goes of continuously and will not stop after Optimizing apps--> Finishing . Nothing works except the power button, we can only switch off or restart using it. I have tried rebooting, deleting cache, but no success.

I can't get any log as the phone is not operational ...can't see anything...as I said earlier the logo for PAC MAN keeps blinking and black screen appears and again the same PACMAN logo appears and then black screen... and continues for ever...
I think you understood the issue,,,, no logcats can be provided.......
