I have been looking for MIUI rom without issues. (such as Wifi).
And I couldn't find. Could you suggest me a MIUI rom?

if you tell is if you have a neo or neo v we come further, and they are busy with it to most of here that makes miui, so be patient and take a look, and dont start a new thread please, just serach mate
You can find them in this section. The rom threads use to have chagelog - working - issue posts in the first pages. Please read the sticky threads and enjoy finding by yourself. Good search!

Folks, I am not a modder but I have been using MODs for quite sometime. This forum is intended for all newbies out there waiting for their questions to be answered from how-tos to why-nots. Please feel to raise your questions, I will try to answer all your questions.
Ok. First question.
Why do we need another thread for Q&A, when we already have STICKY thread in THIS section, with similar name, and even if we don't, this entire section is for Q&A's
Ok den i have a question can you suggest me best ics rom for neo v with locked bootloader & stock kernel.
But everything should be working there should be any bug.and that rom should be fast and tweaked.

Mayank,
Shardul Seth's ICS ROM is good to start with. I have tested all his previous versions and the current version too. The instructions are on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1603919
He uses a slightly modded Stock Kernel which is smooth and has enough governors on it. If you are stuck in one of the insturctions, I can help you with that.

Reyearthlings,
It's a terrific ROM. It has it's own limits. krabappel2548 has added new Jellybeans addons in this MOD. If you have used ICS KA2x.x before, this would be a cake walk. I would suggest you to give it a try.

Madfysh,
I am no where near your experience at XDA. If you this is not worth it, I would delete the thread right away.
Thread closed, as it's A) A duplicate, and B) kind of redundant given we have a whole Q/A section.
MIUI4 ROM Support for LiveView
I loved the MIUIv4 rom !!!
Its damn Awesome !!!!!
But I couldn't get my LiveView to work in it(Not Completely).
I am able to pair with it but not able to get notifications (like an incoming call, missed call, or even read an SMS).
I used the one that comes with the AROMA installer.
Any ideas to get it to work ?
I'm looking for the most stable JB custom ROM and its kernel, with less bugs. If any of you have some advice please tell me the ROM and the recommended kernel used for that ROM. Thanks.
Posted in the wrong section.
We are humans.we know that no human is perfect.we know that no human is the best.
Here are ROMs.we know that no ROM is perfect.we know that no ROM is the best
A suggestion:never ask that again and try out roms till you found one which fits to you

I'm not looking for a perfect ROM and I know custom ROMs have bugs that we must deal with, I'm just looking for the most stable one that people ever try. Why don't you just tell me what ROM and kernel suit you best? I can't try everything out. I'm not a ROM tester.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH
i think you should ask in Q&A , But i think you shouldn't ask that ,
because you'll not find any specific Answer ,
you'll find some bodies love Cm , and people love Zelly Cream , and more & moooooooooooore @_________@ ,
Just flash what do you think it's better for you
Don't ask that again man, cause you're insulting the developers. Well see this ROM, I'm using it right now, enjoy.
OP two issues here...
1st posting this in the Development Section.
Obvious reasons...
2nd Asking most stable JB Custom ROM.
Only you can figure this out, due to so many Users having different apps/usage, what is best for them will not be best for you...so you have to do the homework and test & run the ROMs yourself.
Thanks.

I would say, try the ROMs which have active development or try the one's after reading user comments, screenshots etc. to get an idea about the ROM. You should decide yourself, which ROM to use.
Sorry
That's right. You shouldn't ask for ROM recommendations, as its against forum rules.
If u want a fully stable rom there's no option fr ics currently; but stock jb v4 by devswift1 has only led bar and front cam bug i tried its really good!

It's easy. Take the first one you'll find and try it.
We cannot give you a real recommendation, because beauty, speed and stability are subjective sizes.
For general: Stock based (not ported) roms have normally less hardware related bugs. But they are based usually not on newest developments (i've not seen a sony based bean 4.2 rom for xu today).
Conclusion: you have to find "the best rom" yourself
Thumb through Xperia U Android Development. It's there waiting for you
Hello friends.
I am looking for a very simple rom. Actually I am very happy with the Stock ICS 587 Rom .. all I want is those bloatware and all unnecessary apps removed so I get more phone memory. I dont want lots of bells and whistles .. I want performance and stability. I'll use only 3 or 4 apps (google chrome .. file manager .. and probably thats it) and I want it to be fast and responsive.
I found a thread with bloatware removed stock rom .. but its unstable. My phone restarts every now and then.
So please suggest me a rom or point me to some thread where I can find it. Thank you:fingers-crossed:

I would prefer this rom...although you should do your own research...

I'm sorry but asking for the best/fastest/whatever rom is not permitted here. Please just try some and find the one that has the best results for you

Dear mihahn .. I am sure you didn't read my post completely
I am not asking for a best rom .. I am looking for an ICS stock based rom with less bloatware and customization. I don't mind trying different roms thats where the fun right? But I like the stock rom and so looking for something based on it.
The term "best" differ from person to person. A super light mod would be best to me .. but could be worst to many !!

Thank you droid_user. I have already tried that one .. my lww restarts every now and then with it. I'll try it again with different kernel.
Yup the karandpr thread is awesome .. it helped me a lot.
While this is not a best ROM thread these types of threads are an incentive for others to start posting well XX is better than YY, some developers do not like seeing their work compared to that of others, not only that but it can cause flaming between fanboys.. For that reason i'll be closing the thread. From looking at your post, why not flash a rooted Stock ICS and remove all the bloatware with a root-explorer.

I am new to Xperia Z2 . i like to root my phone and flash a new rom. help me.
how to root?
best rom to flash?
I personally think that ExistenZ ROM is the best. I used this ROM also in my Z too.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/development/rom-existenz-ultimate-1-0-5-light-dark-t2835196
Apply the instructions in the second post in thread.
For root you can check this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2784900
There is no "BEST !!!"
@iamkani you should know that, so try different roms by your own and choose one that fits you the best but dont open a new thread with this to avoid fights with different DEVS and start argumentations, we see this everywhere -__-
Btw:
You are new in XZ2 but not new on XDA so you know the rules
Info
NO Best ROM/Kernel threads
Please do not create threads comparing ROMs or Kernels. Any of these threads created no matter how they are titled will be closed/deleted.

I believe each ROM has its features; there's not a all-in-one rom with every single aspects for all the different needs.
That's why it's not advised to ask for best rom.
Best way to find out is keep trying until you find one that suits you! :good:
