Flashed back to stock. Stuck on Samsung screen. - Samsung Galaxy 5 I5500

I was running CM7 but decided to flash back to stock to see if it was going to fix the call issue I had.
I got the firmware from samfirmware and flashed using Odin, however after flash completed my phone sticks on the Samsung boot screen.
Can anyone please advise me on what to do?
Thanks

I had the same problem last night. I'd flashed CM7, extracted the unlock code, and flashed back to the "latest" stock ROM, and got the Samsung loop.
After my initial panic (experimenting with the girlfriend's phone!) I re-flashed CM7, and it still worked, so I gave it another go.
This time I downloaded an older ROM (I5500XWJPJ) from samfirmware and flashed that instead, and the phone was good to go again. The language with that ROM was initially set to German, but worked fine on the UK "Three" Europa GT-I5500. I put in a non-Three SIM card, entered my previously extracted unlock code, restarted the phone, and when I was sure it was unlocked and happy I re-flashed CM7 once again.
Everything's running fine now. Hope this helps.
Andy.

Flash it using Odin Downloader.
It will work for sure.

[Q] SGT 10.1 P7500 Infinite boot

Yesterday, I plugged in my tab to the charger over night. When I unplugged it today, I restarted it and after that it won't boot. The tab only shows the "Samsung galaxy tab 10.1" text for about 20-30 seconds and then it seems to reboot.
The device is rooted and running this rom. It is a 10.1" P7500 3g version.
Although I can still access recovery and bootloader modes, so I've tried wiping cache (normal cache can be cleared, but not dalvik) and data but nothing happens when I try to do it (It justs stays at formatting data forever when I do a full wipe). I've also tried flashing the same firmware and reinstalling the same rom again. I had an old backup of a earlier version of the rom, which I restored to but then I only get the boot screen to load for 2-3 seconds and then it freezes.
What should I do now?

Alright, what files should I flash? Should I get a hold of a original firmware? Thanks for answering btw!
Ah you're welcome
Just get it off samfirmware.com, get HC 3.2 (Don't go for 3.1 as it is rubbish), Get the european firmware as it is the same and the most stable build (Also the first release for most new firmwares, if ICS were to come out, EU would get the firmware first)
GL and feel free to ask what you lack
Flashing guide's are pretty much simple.
Flash the unextracted file (must be in md5 extension) in PDA slot in odin in download mode and voila.

I downloaded a 3.2 firmware from samfirmware.com, more specific:
"P7500XWLB1 3.2 2012 February P7500NSELA1 Sweden (Telia)"
It was zipped, i unzipped it and it was one .md5 file and one .dll file. I flashed the .md5 file with Odin in PDA. Odin tells me it is successful, and then the tab shows some scripts saying everything is succesful and then it reboots into the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 text. After that I get a text saying "Manual mode, updating application..." for a while until it reboots into the same procedure again.
Atm I'm downloading another firmware just to be sure, I'll post when I've tried that one aswell. (It's named7500XWLB1 3.2 2012 February P7500OXXLB1 Nordic countries)
Really appreciate your help
Edit: Tried the other firmware without any success.
But have you been able to boot into the tablet properly after flashing? Don't worry about the dll, I don't really know what it's for, actually no one know's since Samsung hasn't even told us what it's used for, and phone's don't read dll's
That manual mode updating is the stock recovery building the CSC and everything (Regional settings)
Which firmware didn't work? You can only use 7500 firmware on a 7500 And don't forget to flash a CWM recovery, just might save your life

I flashed P7500XWLB1 3.2 2012 February P7500OXXLB1 Nordic countries, and booted it but nothing happened. So I flashed a CWM recovery, and then it boots into Samsungs original-boot animation and then a text says Samsung. And then after a while it reboots again.
I'm at a loss right now, should I try to flash in a different order or flash with the device booting in between?
Ah, you ended up in a bootloop. Sometimes you may need to flash that firmware, then factory reset in recovery to get it to work. Depends if you had something in your previous ROM that conflicts. Or you can save the problem's and flash with a pit file. The overcome thread has a wonderful guide on that

You can try the method described here;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22964943&postcount=4
It will get you back totally to stock, and then you can re-root and reflash.
Hopefully that helps (should fix most problems).

Thanks alot guys!! I followed the "Re-“Stocking” Yer System…"-guide at the bottom of the page you linked, and the tab is now booting correctly. You're my life savers! Thanks again

That method has yet to fail me.
Used to go around suggesting it everywhere but others have used it with success and are stepping in when needed.

[q] help!! Note down

So ,im sorry but its a long story. Hopefully someone can help. My note is Rooted Ive been using TWRP. Everything had been fine until 2 days ago. I tried flashing a ROM i found on Goomanger.( I had been running liquid smooth) just wanted to try something different. Anyways it got stuck on a boot loop. Cant remember the name of the Rom. Anyways i was able to get back to recovery, thankfully. But when i wiped and flashed back to liquid smooth it would say optimizing apps, then it would reach a certain number then reboot and star all over again. So then i tried another Rom and the same thing happened. tried flashing back to stock rooted but it would turn on then completely crash and star booting up again. So finally i was able to flash paraandroid 4.1.2 and Gapps, but here is the kicker i have no service (AT&T) says cannot locate network, my IMEI is gone basically the cellular isn't working. Everything else works fine WiFi,apps, camera. Just cant make calls. I really need your guys help please.:crying:
If you have a suggestion please let me know, i hate using an old Iphone

Just odin back to stock. Get a complete factory stock image from the main sticky thread and flash it with Odin and Download Mode. There's a bug on one of the TWRP versions with 4.3-based ROMs that will put it into a bootloop by breaking device reboots. I was unable to flash my way out of the problem and was forced to do a complete reimage which solved all the problems and put me right back to clean-out-of-the-box state, then I reinstalled TWRP (though an older version before the boot loop bug) and re-flashed my custom ROM. The package I used was the stock image and Odin tool all in one .exe, just plug in to download mode and run it and it flashed bootloader, recovery, system, kernel, etc. all back to stock.

Thanks thats what i did, I just basically had to use KIES to use the emergency recovery, then root my phone again. My question is what version of TWRP causes this? cause i used the newest version i could find off GOO. My other concerne is, will it accept or be safe to use a custom ROM? Well i gues ill find out  THANKS AGAIN!
Everyone with the sgh-i717 is having problems with the latest TWRP and the most stable version is 2.5.0.0. Go with that one or you'll be starting all over again I imagine. And don't just stop at the download link in the OP's, read the thread and find out what's going on. The problems with TWRP have been going on for a while and the development threads have a lot of comments about the latest build causing problems. Good luck! :good:

HELP PLEASE!! I think i bricked my Note 2 (Verizon)

I was running a custom firmware before i went to go restore it back to stock (going to exchange it for credit at a store). I made sure everything important i needed was backed up, then i booted it to Download mode like i would to flash it back to stock with Odin, everything worked fine. It finished and after it rebooted, it just started flashing the samsung galaxy note 2 white text for a quarter of a second then shuts off and just does that until i take the battery out. I tried going into recovery mode but it doesn't. I can get to download mode and try reflashing the firmware but it fails everytime.
What can i do to fix it? In my 5 years of using custom ROMs iv'e never had this issue. is my phone bricked?

In the stock recovery do a full wipe as well. The wipe is more comprehensive than the custom recoveries. Perhaps that will help with the booting.
Which version did you try flashing? Mj9? More recent?

I understand you are probably panicking a bit over the trouble you have gotten yourself into with your Note, but I think you've been around long enough to know where to start this sort of topic. If you posted in the correct sub-forum, then you'd get better results. Right? :good:
Anyway, I wish you the best of luck fixing your phone.

What image did you flash in Odin? Also, when you flashed it did you use the pit file with it?

Samsung s5 stuckat white t-mobile screen after flashing stock rom

So I was on a custom rom for a while and I decided to flash it back to stock to give the phone to my mom. However when I flash it back to stock PK1 (downloaded from sammobile and confirmed both the phone and file are for G900T) it doesnt go pst the white t-mobile screen. you can hear the chime for t-mobile but nothing more. It's weird because the stock recovery is on the phone instead of twrp and it works perfectly fine. If I put twrp back on and reflashed the custom rom (popwiz) the phone will boot fine. Anybody have any idea what it could be?
and RIP as soon as i post this thread the phone boots out of no where after days of hassle and struggle
this thread can be deleted. Sorry!
