I'm looking for a way to rotate the screen to Portrait orientation while the TF-201 is docked. Thanks!
I I finally figured this out; none of the orientation control apps I tried previously worked; but Orientation Switch did and I can now use the Prime in Portrait mode with the dock on, meaning I can hold the clamshell open like a book.
Are you sure about the name? It's not in my market..

Hello all,
Does anyone know how to make landscape orientation work through HDMI? When I rotate the phone to landscape, the image on the screen rotates but uses the same screen real estate as the portrait on my tv, it is just at a 90 degree rotation.
I would love to actually use my phone to watch videos on the TV screen
Thanks
It's gotta be your tv or tv settings. Mine works flawlessly.

I just got the same problem, and it was fine before, I just recently switched build.prop files though, so it may be why

Hi Guys, I have looked all over but can't seem to find an answer. I have a HD media dock hooked up to my 7" display in my truck. It works great but the resolution makes everything (espescially the mouse arrow) very small. Is there a way to change the resolution so all the icons on the bottom are larger? I have tried the "display" setting at the top but there are no options in the drop down menu. Any help would be awesome!

what I found out that worked for me was plug the photon into via docking station into a different tv then plug it back into the tv that you want and on the screen will say new display detected or something and from there the resolution menu will open allowing you to adjust it to whatever you like
Some of us use the Prime without the dock and like to use it upside down landscape while charging it since the charging port connector is on the bottom of the Prime and is a little unwieldy to use when not upside down and charging.
Though most apps will detect the orientation of the Prime and rotate appropriately, some don't (like the YouTube app when playing video). The following is a great app that can force the screen orientation on troublesome apps and works when the built-in orientation detection doesn't.
Tested and works in both Honeycomb and ICS.

Thanks for this. I'll give it a try. I had wondered if anyone else was having these issues.
It works for almost every possible orientation, but I'm trying to set the "reversed landscape" mode but It doesn't work, I'm using virtous prime .21, do you have the same problem or is just me?
I was having the same problem and after I tried some apps, I decided for "Rotation locker", it does the job (I needed the reverse landscape) perfectly and It's free
I've used this before, and it works well. Just remember that some apps will force close due to this. So if you experience force closes, try disabling it.

Just wondering guys if i set off the auto rotate in portrait it switches back to landscape. First i thought the app im using doesnt support portrait, though it rotates when autorotate is on, but when i tried it to other apps it switches back to landscape even right now im typing in landscape when i turn off the autorotate in portrait.
Is this nirmal or what?

This may sound like a dumb question. But, how do I get the dock to display at the bottom of my landscape screen? Currently, the dock shows up on the right edge of my screen when my phone is in landscape orientation.
If I rotate my phone to portrait mode, the dock moves to the bottom of the screen. However, I hardly ever hold my phone in portrait orientation.
I'm using the latest Nova Prime Beta.
Same problem here.
I am very frustrated with this problem on my Galaxy Tab S4. The dock does not go in landscape mode as it did in my other tablets.
WTF, they think that no one is using landscape mode?
