This browser has been out for a few weeks but I figured I would post it here for you guys. I've used just about every mobile browser out there and know the issues with most of them.
Stock - Not many options, slower than others, bugs here and there
Firefox - Poor desktop UA, lacks many of the add-ons that make firefox worth using.
Dolphin - Collects user data, not quite as quick as competition
Maxathon - Bulky and FC's alot
Chrome - BUGGY
Boat - Nice UI, very customisable, but choppy webpages, quick to load but not as stable.
Opera - Quick and loads pages with stable scrolling, but randomly exits alot and has some problems with flash.
Opera Mobile Labs 12 is like Opera without the exits and flash issues and the addition of desktop extensions like ghostery, noscript, etc. For ages I've been asking, why can't Android have a single browser that doesn't suck in one way or another, so far it looks like my prayers have been answered. I'm mostly surprised it's a beta build. Let me know what you think.

Same here. Only one problem I noticed that i forgot about in OP, sometimes saving images will create .webp files instead of .jpg, .png, etc. Just change the extension to whatever and it's fine.

With opera I've noticed the loading bar moves a little slower, but the pages load fully. Compared to boat, the loading bar moves fast, but only the banner displays after the page loads and then there's some lag time waiting for the rest of the page to load.
flash performance is a the best out there!
but scrolling still feels like 15 frps and a lot of the web pages do not fit the screen width... otherwise great improvement!!
This opera isnt smooth - ics browser plus and dolphin hd are much better then opera lab.

Lolwut have you been smoking I know its weed day but still. No, I'm just kidding but I didn't experience any lag with this opera and I'm normally underclocked to around 800 MHz quadcore.

Scrolling in this version is still choppy. In fact its the laggiest browser on TP.
THANK YOU for sharing!! I didn't even know about this. Opera is my default browser on my laptop, and Opera Mobile on my Evo 3D and Prime. Really really excited about trying this on my Prime!!!

I know this question has been asked before but I've never seen a poll included and alot more browsers are becoming available lately. So lets find out what ones best!
Whats the best all around browser?
If you could only use one for all internet activity what one would it be?
I use dolphin browser.
i tried opera, firefox, miren, skyfire, and dolphin mini.
but I've always gone back to dolphin browser.

As much as I would like to use other browsers, I cant get over how sluggish everything is compared to Opera. So thats my choice. Opera Mobile for wifi, Mini for 3G/Edge
The only issue Opera has is that some mobile versions of sites dont work properly with it, but thats rather minor.

I personally don't understand why so many people love Dolphin browser. IMO, it's slow and has a horrible UI.
My vote goes on Opera, by far the smoothest browser I've ever tried.
See these posts are good! If anybody knows a reason why one is better or if one of these is not even worthy of being on here let everyone know.
Like for me firefox could never be my favorite just for the fact that it doesn't support flash and probably won't for a long time! I have every one of these browsers installed (actually I booted skyfire already)and wish I could cut it down to only like 2 lol. I have browser overkill right now! Gotta trim some fat!

what's so horrible about the UI?
I like the fact that it has a multitude of features and possible add-ons that are available.
Granted, it's not as quick in loading pages as some of the other stripped down browsers but I prefer the functionality over the speed.
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
opera easily best performance on complex sites although it annoys me it doesnt use the android ui elements, feels un integrated, little things like the scrolling, the landscape keyboard not showing the next field button on sites with lots of text fields etc.
dolphin conforms with the ui elements, but not as fast performing on complex sites and what with the recent privacy thing, will probably leave it be for now

This isnt really applicable to the Atrix, but on tablets its UI is inconsistent. You have full navigation controls in landscape, but only the address bar in portrait. Between that and the IMO unusably slow page rendering, I think Firefox on Android has a long way to go before its even a contender for most people.
I use Dolphin Mini.
seems to do the job with flash
Dolphin HD all the way on all my android devices.
I use Miren, I have since I first found it and honestly... I couldnt touch a single other browser now. It's so FAST.

I think a distinction needs to be made here... when we speak of speed, are we refering to the interaction side, as in how fast it responds to touch input? Or are we speaking from a perspective of how fast the pages load?
Most Opera supporters who praise its speed are refering to scrolling and zooming fluidity, not necessarily page loading speed. I do think webkit browsers are slightly faster at that.
I like exscope myself ..seems to more fluid than all the others.imo

Exactly. When I made the switch from iPhone to Android that's what bothered me the most. The browsers didn't compare. I coundnt care less if one loads .5 seconds faster then the other. To me its all about scrolling and zooming fluidity. Opera has been one of the fastest I have ever used. Dolphin is good for porn, with all the "private" features but the rest of it is completely annoying. I'm married anyways so I prefer Opera. Haha

what I hate about all the other browsers is how you cannot remove the address bar at all.
Once you scroll down, it disappears. but when you scroll back up, the address bars shows up again. I personally dislike that address bar and prefer to access it when I want, not when the app believes in want it to.
also, dolphin has a web-to-pdf add on that i use every once in a while. I like that.
I like that dolphin gives you the option to tweak every little thing.
porn browsing? that's a non-issue.

Aurora by mozilla. It's super smooth and has no download issues.

On my older ARMv6 phone I'd have said Dolphin Mini because it's fast and has a very streamlined usability imo.
On my EVO I'm happy with Opera Mobile, although it has some issues here and there.
I'm satisfied with miui stock browser but was a fan of dolphin hd/mini when I used Sense.

I'm an Opera man, desktop and mobile.
I'd say stock, used to flip back and forth from Dolphin (awesome browser) but kept on going back to the stock one.
But! Looks like Firefox FINALLY will be launching a browser fit enough to wear that brand in the near future. The Aurora build is amazing, super smooth and looks great, someone said it does not have enough features, it's still in test mode so hopefully when the beta comes out for it, it'll be more functional and loaded up with goodies
Chrome (for Android 4.0+ users) looks like another browser that'll come out good.
I've tried a few but end up always going back to Dolphin HD. Its quick,I like the layout and gestures plus I've personally never had any problems using it. I do use Firefox when other browsers (stock/dolphin) wont let me download certain files.
I think the best Google Chrome and Dolphin Browser HD

I like ICS stock browser and Chrome the best. Dolphin is good too, but one thing that always bothered me is that websites built for mobile phones that want you to swipe through screens don't work with Dolphin because you keep pulling up your side menus. If there is a setting or technique I'm missing there I'd like to know.
Boat browser for me. Can't believe someone hasn't mentioned that one yet :/

Chrome. It's seriously the best browser out there. It somehow manages to have every feature there is but look so simple and work so well.

+1, Chrome does it all. Its the fastest browser I've ever used for android and the syncing w/ my desktop chrome is epic
I have been playing with it for a while now and have always loved the desktop version as well (not as much as chrome but close) just wonder what others thought and experiences with it were

I prefer Firefox over dolphin just cuz of the desktop skareing stuff I wish they would finish chrome
Sent from my MB860 using xda premium
I downloaded it about a week ago, and it didn't have the zoom in text feature that all othe browsers have.
If they fix that, I'll totally replace Opera.
@plasma what exactly? Double-Tapping on any text-column resizes/zooms lightningly fast, definitely faster than stock 2.3.6-browser.
try dolphin browser hd, trust me you will love it
Sent from my MB860 using XDA
dolphin is nice but i just prefer to use firefox. granted, anything is better than the default browser.
firefox is nice back lack of flash support turned me to dolphin.
but after getting CM9 i seem to like the stock ICS browser better.
the only browsers i use are opera, most of the time and dolphin if opera fails to load some sites.
i have tested ALL web browsers and so far the best compatibility is dolphin even with desktop only sites but i like simple UI, so I'm still with opera.
Sent from my MB860 using XDA
The text reflowing feature of opera or stock browser is not there in Firefox. It has essentially preset zoom levels and text sizes. There no dynamic reflowing or reformatting of text on the fly as you zoom in.
It's the main reason I don't use it. It works with HTML5 sites better than opera, and would love to have it work better.
I tried really hard to get into firefox for my atrix but it just kept turning me off.......firefox for pc is amazing as well as chrome but I find Dolphin Hd the best bang for $0.00......the features are nice and its so simple and all it really is nice.I havent stopped using it since I first got it,I dont think I would use another browser unless firefox gets more features added but I'm sure over time it will
Dolphin HD or opera mobile are far faster and better

first impressions: very impressive!
runs smooth and fast. no problems sofar.
Chrome is a beast when it works but it crashes alot.
Opera was the best browser for my needs on Gingerbread but it does not seem to work on ICS?
Dolphin for me is ok. It works well, but somehow for me it feels a bit off for some reason.

I have always found Dolphin to handle flash the best. But my current favorite Browser is Opera Mobile. Actually, I use both Opera browsers. If I'm in an area with poor reception/bandwidth then I use Opera Mini. I have to warn you my opinion is very subjective and biased. I have been using Opera since way back in the days of windows mobile. I have tried the rest but always find myself back with Opera. I have been keeping an eye on firefox and it seems to be making some great strides but my impression is that it is not ready for prime time just yet. I'm rooted but still using the stock gingerbread Rom. If you are using an ics Rom and you don't mind giving up flash then you might be interested in Chrome which has a great feature set and is purported to be blazing fast. Either way, on gingerbread I find Opera to be the best overall browser for me. That said your mileage may vary subject to your personal taste.

I use opera for one big reason. Its probably got the best built in download manager I've seen on a mobile browser.
EOS 2.0 @ MZ604 [XDA-HD]
Stock @ SGH-I717R [XDA-Premium]
Running ICS in tablet mode and I've been using OverSkreen for a while with no complaints. I love having multiple, re-sizable browser windows available.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myboyfriendisageek.airbrowser&hl=en
I keep Dolphin installed just in case I hit a wall with OverSkreen but thus far I haven't found a page it wouldn't load properly.
I use dolphin HD, used to use Opera on my old Nokia N95 but I didn't like the direction they were going with the look and feel so I tried Dolphin when I got my first android phone and I've been happy with it since.
Stock ICS and Boat on GB roms
I use Chrome. I don't need a bunch of features in a browser and it is quick and stable.
I liked to use maxthon browser on my evo, but I am definitely wondering if there is a better choice for this huge display.
Skyfire has a lot of features and its nice too.
In terms of pure speed, Chrome. Stock is not bad either.
For flash, Dolphin and Boat seems to be the fastest while Opera seems to struggle a bit compared to the aforementioned browsers.
I like the chrome beta. I would like it if they added some dolphin style tabs though.

I now use dolphin hd. It crashes often with multiple tabs open however.
Opera mobile and opera mini and boat are good alternatives.
On GB still so no chrome.
Firefox beta looks cool but takes forever to load pages.
Maxthon is ok but not in the same class as the above.
Skyfire is too bulky.
I use my note a ton to browse the interwebs and I regularly try different browsers out to find the best experience. However, as the previous poster said, browser preference is incredibly subjective.

I prefer chrome beta, its fast and very stable.
Galaxy Note
ICS+
Has a lot of nice customizations - seems to be less prone to FC's and integrates nicely with Chrome bookmarks.
In order of preference chrome, boat, opera. And overskreen for when I want a quick floating browser.
Chrome is just awesome since I've used it on desktop forever add its nice to easily sync. Boat is nice with its customizable menu. And opera is for when I hit a wall with the others. They're all decently speedy and lots of features.
On cm9

I like Dolphin HD, it's the easiest browser to put into desktop mode and I hate mobile sites, so Dolphin HD's my browser. I like Chrome Beta a lot, but am very disappointed that the "Request Desktop" setting is not a system-wide or even permanent setting. It should be the default, I still have a desktop running 1024x768 and I think that if my phone supports 1280x800 it should not be restricted to crappy mobile sites.
I also want Firefox for Android to get better, haven't tested it in a while but the last time I used it (on my TouchPad before I got my Note) it still had major issues.

There are many variables involved in what the speed of a Browser is going to be on any given device, Not least of which is the Data Connection. Which plays a large part. That being said the same Browser, on the two of the same Devices, with two different Data Connections, will act differently.
Cant say which is the fastest...but personally prefer Dolphin Browser (and chrome for the sync features)
opera mini is very speedy however because of the fact the pages are loaded on a server it isnt very optimal for downloading and pages with javascript or flash player

Next requires intrusive privileges, and is created by "GO Dev Team" who have a poor privacy track record. It is the latest in a long line of garbage Android browsers: Dolphin, Boat, One, and most other Android browsers are all crapware.
Spying is not only an invasion of privacy, it wastes battery power, bandwidth, and CPU.
Opera Mini. Chrome can be pretty fast with the right tweaks as well.

I used Boat a lot because HTML5 videos would run very well. Now I found Baidu Browser and it's the fastest I've ever used. Despite having just 512 RAM, it doesn't even reload images on complex web pages when you scroll and loads completely other pages when opened in background.
