For CM7: MIUI GB RC2 & CyanogenMod7.2 RC1 by vo-1 MIRACLE Edition V2
For Stock ROM: Stocklite v6.0 & IMAGINARY ICS V.4
But it all depends on your preference.
I have typhoon cm7 and my battery life is great though I think it mostly depends on running processes

Try Wolf's CM 6.1.3 v54. I find it to be the best of both worlds

I agree, wolf's ROM is the best I've used so far. Battery life seems to be based on a case by case basis.
however performance is outstanding!
Ya I can find everything to load the Rom. Except the Rom zip file. Lol. Where am I not looking?

Personally, I would have to go with tripp's MIUI rom its sleek, it's simple, my battery lasts a day and a half and it's extremely fast and responsive
Download it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1013210
You can also download a crap load of themes from http://miuithemes.com/
Thank you. Loving the rom

If you want a really good looking ROM, try the Bitsnacker 2.1 rom. It is basically the stock rom with the bitsnacker blue glow theme.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1005636
If you mean THEMES, check the bitsnacker theme out for the x10 which works on android 2.1 stock and 2.2 Free X10 Beta 4 (for Freex10 ignore first post, check the second half way down the screen)

I'm currently running CM7 ROM and I really like the look and feel. Works perfect!
The only problem is if I go away I'll have a problem with battery life. I won't be able to charge the phone.
Could you make any suggestions on the best battery life on these ROMs?
Thanks
The one in my signature is awesome in battery life. Give that one at least a look. Plus its fast too.

+1 Omega, then maybe FAT or vo-1 CMs for the most stable, if you wanna go wild wild west, then definitely try Maclaw's CM9, Lewa, MIUI by TeamCooper and any other you see currently being updated. Lost of action going on here right now.
I would recommend infinity v2 from and omega from for best performance and stability

So,
+2 vote for Omega
+1 vote for Radon Mod
+1 vote for infinity v2
I dont want to do crazy things. Just daily using, internet and gaming thats all
Thank you very much for everybody for the answers, i am going to try them one by one in time. First with Omega i guess
+1 cm7.2 KANG by vo-1
The new omega rom v3 is super fast. It can b overclocked to 902 Mhz and it is stable too. So +2 omega rom v3

If you want the best rom, try flashing all the roms and decide yourself! How simple is that.
Its been a while and I'm not that up to date with the miui roms at the min, would you go for the official 2.3.9 version or is there better? Thanks in advance

Hi there,
I tried the dragon miui and really didn't like it, currently running the official miui version 4. few bugs but very nice at the min

Miui V4 (all flavours) buggy as hell @ the moment. Wait a few weeks/stick to GB for now.
I wouldn't recommend v4 at all. Miui special edition 12 by dragon is the best.
