Hi all, i have decompiled te framework-res.apk of the CM9 of Mclaw and i want to edit the lockscreen with eclipse sdk. Can i.?

its for cm and for some other aosp roms but not for stock rom
so.make theme for your gingerreal manually if want ics theme

I want to make a theme for our sweet Ace but i'm stock at "zip" file because i don't know to make it flashable ...
I have PNG pictures but i don't know how to replace the original files, the trick is in the "zip" file, how can i make it ?
spacecaker make some of this zip's, maybe he can help ...

I want to make changes at many apps from system/app and system/framework ... but i'm stock at creating zip file that replace my original files ...
Ex: themes that replace png files like spacecaker did !!!
After i finish i will share with you, but i'm stock here ...
Just download wonokairoen's theme from themes and apps section. Extract it using winzip/winrar etc.
Replace all his files by your files, dont change anything in META-INf folder.
Zip back the files and your theme will be ready.
Dont forget to take wonokairoen's permission before using his zip.

Many thanx man, i will try it tonight !
so i followed tj_droids tutorial of decompiling and compiling using apk manager and i guess i did it all right.. decompiling went fine
but after compiling i am supposed to find resource.arsc in unsgined framework when opened as archive using 7zip..but i didnt!! help please if you can
Wrong section. You should have posted this in general section. Btw, did you delete resources.arsc from keep folder?

apk manager says in English that remove whatever modified + resources file if xml was edited.. you missed to read console buddy

AFAIK, you dont need to delete any xml's if you modifed them. Just delete resources.arsc, let apkmanager recompile it. Then drag and drop resources.arsc from new apk to old one.

APKmanager is outdated now. Try new version of apkmanager. Its called APK Multi-tool. Search on google.

i modded strings.xml
i believe that comes under resource.arsc
now using apk multi tool 1.0.3..
it doesnt compile only...shows some error..i posted the log..

Find iconColumnCount="4" and replace 4 with 5 (or 6 if you want 6 icons)

Its Easy,Folow the steps. (If u get error on 4/5 step,delete the .odex in folder Origi_app or Origi_frame and start it the step corrensponding to error.
