I'm trying to get this app from the market, but it says my device is incompatible. I'm running Saurom. The app is free for Note users, and I had it on the stock ROM. Any suggestions, or a link to the APK? Again, the app is free. Thanks.

The version specifically for the Note is free. They even advertise it in Samsung apps. I know it is free because I wouldn't pay $15.

I cant even download samsung apps or omni sketch (advertised for use with the s-pen) says device incompatible. I mean its made for our phone. Ive tried many many things. stock dpi, clear play store data numerous times.. nothing helps. Im on saurom as well. I think it might be just a rom issue. Ive asked this in the q and a section and nobody has an answer there either.
the issue i had with saurom and looking for apps in the play store is I think it shows your phone as canadian for some reason and dont get the same apps, this was when it first came out not sure if that is still an issue but may want to look at that

Yeah, it has to be Saurom. I can't get Omnisketch either.

That is the wrong version. This one is specifically for the Note, and titled so.

The problem's got to do with Saurom.
I'm running Collective's Unofficial and I have the Poweroffice+Dropbox app installed and working fine, and have had it since being on the stock ROM with no problems since.

my 2 cents
I recall there being something like this with some of the early betas of the ICS roms for Desire HD, The issue tied back to the screen resolution not being the factory default dpi and the market would see it as incompatable. you may want to check your screen res and verify it's the factiry default dpi (I am not sure what that is for the Note off hand)

The r3 kernel caused endless reboots while on flapjaxx rom. Had to do a restore after trying to reflash r2 ended in a boot loop. Will try again later after work

We are at&t galaxy note users that are on Tmobiles network and we need the new Tmobile radio to make the at&t note work better and maybe fully on the HSDPA network at 42 Mbps and not 24 Mbps that we currently are using. Please devs if you can post it. A lot of us can use our phones without the unstable radios we are currently on. Thank you

FYI: MODEM = MOdulator - DEMoulator...
so im looking to get a rom on this phone that works well with tmobile and im not sure what one would be the best choice, the phone is going to be for a first time smartphone user. I have also seen on here that wifi calling has issues? Does it work at all? the attached pictures contain all the info of the phone, because of the knox is it going to be difficult to flash the phone?
any help and information would be appreciated

The only thing i can think of is if you unlock it and install a custom recovery have someone with the same variant make a dummy google account flash from that backup remove the dummy account and add your wifes.im not sure if it will work 100% but thats the only thing i can think of.i have the us997 version or i would do it for you
I believe u can factory reset and then try again.
You're best bet is re-flashing the software with the LGup I think that's what its called.
There's no chance reflashing stock firmware, it's safety boot, even with root is not possible. Maybe some bypasses based on Usb OTG like some Samsung Phones could work.
Got it worked out. The original owner called me and let me sign in with his name. Added my account the deleted his. Then did a factory reset and all is well.

This website doesn't support FRP as it was put there for a reason.

I'm from the UK I'm going to assume the OP is from USA.
At the end of the day we've all bought a BS3p from China with a China rom on it and we're not happy for whatever reason. I bought the unlock from the Chinese guy and the global rom when he had it, it brought functionality back to the phone that had some annoyances.
I've got the update from the OP, who also had to pay.
If we weren't so eager to get a new phone we would have waited for the global release of the device and possibly paid some inflated prices but had a true global rom.
I'm happy with my device now. It's unlocked and has none of the horror defects I've seen on the Chinese black shark forum.
Each to their own though.
