Hi Geeks
I am finding it very hard to capture my screen(screenshot) using the vol up+volume down + home + power key combos
Each time I try this I either increase or decrease the volume but am unable to press it exactly at the center.
Is there a way to change this combo
I am using Westcrips resurrection ROM 1.1 on galaxy s2 I9100
Thanks
A
are you trying to push all four buttons? screenshot is volume down + power only.
Some ROMs let you have a shortcut holding just de power button to takethe screenshot, everyone with Jkay mod, or AOKP have that option, that way you just need one button not 3 button combo.

Now I've searched various sources online but still can't work out what sequence of buttons you press to take a screenshot?
I've tried Vol Down + Power, Vol Down + Home + Power, Vol Down + Home.
None work.
Hold for a few seconds vol down + power. At the same time ofc
Screenshot it app from market ( root)
Hit THANKS if I helped you
Thank you Malinnn, worked a treat!

Hello XDA
I went to settings and pressed "factory data reset". My phone turned off, and then when it was to boot, it stopped , and now I'm stuck with a red exclamation mark and "Samsung Galaxy J1 ace" in the middle.
I have tried booting into recovery mode by pressing the volume buttons and Power, but i get the same thing.
I've tried:
- Power + Volume Up
- Power + Volume Down
- Power + Volume Up + Volume Down
- Power + Home Button + Volume Up
I still get the same screen
I did try Power + Home Button + Volume Up , and i get this:
Warning!!
A custom OS can cause critical problems in phone and installed applications.
If you want to download a custom OS, press the Volume Up key. Otherwise, press the Volume Down key to cancel.
Volume Up : Continue
Volume Down : Cancel (restart phone)

I pressed volume down , and then I'm back to square one with the first problem
Help is immensely appreciated .
You need to reinstall the rom..

Hi , it should work with Vol + and power buttons , maybe you didn't do it correctly or for you is another way .
You can try this :
1. Make sure your device is off
2. Now press together Vol + and Power button at the same time , it will vibrate but don't release keys , once logo appear release both keys and fast press just Vol - button several times until you see recovery menu if that doesn't worl try the same think but with VOl - button , and second key is now VOl + to press several times.
