[Q] China Phone ics4.09 dual sim - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello eveyone. I was in china and bought a galaxy note knock off.
Android Version 4.0.9
Release codename rel
Brand YUSU
hardware MT6573
Board e1108_V73_jbaol1g18
Dual sim.
Could anybody help me with rooting this phone please. i have had alook on the forums and it appears no one has one of these.
FYI a new version of this Phone is due for release towards the end of april.
it will have a 1.2GHZ processor dual sim and ICS

Try searching online. You probably won't have any luck posting here as probably no one owns those kind of knock off phones in this forum.
Out of curiosity though, did you know it was fake or did you buy it thinking that it was a Samsung galaxy note?

Rooting unofficial versions of the OS are tricky mainly when most knock offs don't really have the specs it says it does. And the OS is not one Google released

Try searching in russian forums like 4pda.ru & china-iphone.ru
it might help you.....
if you find an answer there post it here ...it will help others like you!!
Best of luck!!

[Q] Best Android Under 30K(INR)

Hi guys,
Can you please suggest me a best android phone under 30,000/- (INR) price range.
Galaxy SII (friend got battery problem in 3months)
Sensation XE (Touch screen problems as some developers mentioned in some forums)
So, i need your reviews and more phones please...
you can get S2 as it is currently the best out there , but beware of the i9100g model which has Omap chipset and not good, Get I9100 International version with has Mali chipset.
Nexus S is also a good buy , as it already is running ICS officially from Google ,
If you can increase budget i would recommend Galaxy Nexus or Galaxy Note ....

[Q] Flashing generic china phones

Hi there,
I currently own an HTC Desire Bravo and was thinking of upgrading to a china phone with a MTK6577 CPU. I haven't made up my mind which model in particular to purchase yet as I would like it to have some level of rom support in XDA. A while ago, I had bought a china tablet (P10AN01, also going by brand names: Advent Vega, Viewpad 10s) and chose this model *because* it had it's own section in the XDA forums. These china stuff is really amazing as if you choose carefully may land you a device rivaling it's more expensive branded phones at a fraction of the price.
I don't expect there will be a section for every variant of china phone as even searching for MTK6577 CPU based phones returns a myriad of phones with different specs.
I would basically like to know if it is possible to use ROMs designed from other popular (and supported on XDA) phones on a made in china phone... If so, how would i know which would work?
am I correct in assuming that a ROM for a supported phone with similar specs would likely work? for example, an HTC phone with MTK6577 CPU 1GB ram and 4GB rom would work on a china phone with MTK6577 CPU and 1GB ram and 4GB rom?
Many thanks in advance for your support

[Q] CyanogenMod-Friendly Phone

Hi everyone!
Some time ago I bought my current device (SGs3 i9300) and unfortunately I discovered too late that the international version was absolutely not CM-fliendly because of the exynos cpu.
So now I'm selling it and I want to buy a device absolutely CM-compatible.
I have already identified 2 device within my budget that are officialy supported:
LG Optimus 4X HD
and
Sony Xperia T
What, in your opinion, is the best supported device?
If they are both perfectly supported, between them what's the best?
Is there another good phone in the same price range that i'm missing?
PS I live in europe so i need a device that I can find here.
Thank you to everyone!
Get a nexus device instead of either of those you mentioned.

Qualcomm processors is your best bet, no matter which phone... Just make sure it's a new one...

unknown i5 model? (mtk6515)

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has ever owned one of these versions of the i5 clone. Is it any good or should I stay away? I would buy a better mtk i5 but it seems like there isn't any other gold & white model available, at least none that I can find. I can't find any information on this i5. Is it possible to root? Are there any roms for this model? You basically can find one of these on youtube if you search gold iphone 5 replica. It also seems to be on 4.2.1, which isn't common on this model.

[Q] About HDC N9006 6582 MTK 1 GHZ RAM 4 GHZ ROM

Good morning from Spain. I'm new around here and I would like to ask you about this clone. Buy one in FCT but I had to return it for breach of what they sell.
Now, I've bought one in aliexpress, namely Bro Technology and wanted to ask if any of you have bought it there and their experiences. I've looked a lot and I've decided on this because they say it is better than the MTK 6589.
For that, I ask advice and if someone bought it there, tell me that this is going this phone.
Excuse my English but I am using a translator to express myself best.
Best regards.
Thank you very much.
